There are so many public facilities (FasUm) and social facilities (FaSos) spreading all over the city. So that, many people do not know how to find and reach the location. Therefore, a mobile application becomes necessary to help solving problems in introducing and informing the location of those important facilities; thus, discovering and locating them can be simplified. This study aims to develop an android application providing information of public and social facilities. The application was built utilizing Google’s features consisting of Google Sign In, Google Places API, Google Custom Search Engine, and Google Map. The application was developed in several steps; requirement analysis, system design, implementation, and testing. The application provides information, routes, related news, and location markers of public and social facilities from the app contributor and Google Services. The developed application has been compared with Google Map application. The result shows that it provides some features which are better than the existing app.

AbstrakAplikasi pemesanan lapangan futsal Champion Malang merupakan sebuah sistem informasi melalui platform android yang digunakan user atau costumer futsal champion untuk melakukan pemesanan lapangan secara online tanpa harus menelepon karyawan lapangan, ataupun mendatangi lokasi setiap cabang champion futsal, dimana aplikasi ini dapat membantu user untuk melihat dan menentukan jadwal sewa yang nantinya akan dipesan mulai dari lapangan, tanggal pesan, jam pesan,  hingga durasi pemakaian lapangan yang disajikan melalui tampilan platform android, guna memudahkan proses penyewaan lapangan sehingga dapat meningkatkan produktifitas layanan jasa penyewaan pada cabang futsal Champion Malang. Dalam penelitian ini penulis merancang dan membangun aplikasi android pemesanan lapangan futsal pada champion futsal Malang  menggunakan metode Waterfall melalui 5 (lima)  tahapan yaitu requirement analysis, design, implementasi, testing dan, maintenance, aplikasi ini dibangun menggunakan Apache Cordova  sehingga memungkinkan pengembang aplikasi mobile  untuk mengakses fungsi perangkat asli (native)  seperti kamera atau accelerometer dengan  menggunakan teknologi web standar seperti HTML5, CSS3, dan JavaScript untuk pengembangan cross- platform.Abstract Application of Champion Malang futsal field rental is an information system that is android based platform used by users or customer futsal champions to order fields via online without having to call field employees or visit the location of each futsal champion branch. This application can help users to see and determine desired schedule; they are the field itself, date of exertion, time of order, to the duration of field usage that is presented through the display of the Android platform, the further function is to facilitate the field leasing process so it can increase the productivity of rental services at Champion Malang futsal. In this study, the researcher designed and built an android application ordering futsal courts at Malang futsal champion using the Waterfall method through 5 (five) stages; they are requirement analysis, design, implementation, testing and maintenance, this application was built using Apache Cordova to enable mobile application developers to access native device functions such as a camera or accelerometer with using standard web technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript for cross-platform development.

         Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pelayanan publik dan efektifitas kinerja di kantor SAMSAT Kota Padang dengan cara memberikan informasi biaya BBNKB kepada masyarakat yang akan melakukan transaksi balik nama. Biaya Balik Nama Kendaraan Bermotor (BBNKB) termasuk salah satu transaksi yang paling banyak dilakukan pada kantor SAMSAT Padang. Saat ini media pendukung untuk biaya balik nama kendaraan belum ada, sehingga orang wajib pajak tidak mengetahui berapa biaya yang harus mereka bayar. Untuk menyelesaikan masalah tersebut perlu dikembangkan sebuah Sistem Informasi Biaya Balik Nama Kendaraan Bermotor (BBNKB) berbasis SMS Gateway. Pengembangan software berbasis SDLC dengan metode XP (Extreme Programming). Sistem ini dikembangkan dengan bahasa pemrograman VB.Net, dan database MySQL sebagai menyimpan data serta Gammu sebagai konfigurasi SMS Gateway. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah sebuah aplikasi yang dapat digunakan bagi  wajib pajak agar mengetahui jumlah biaya balik nama kendaraan bermotor, yang dapat meningkatkan efesiensi kerja pada kantor SAMSAT kota Padang.   Kata kunci: SMS Gateway, SAMSAT, Extreme Programming   Abstract The purpose of this research is to improve public services and effectiveness of performance at the SAMSAT office in the city of Padang by providing information on BBNKB costs to people who will conduct transactions behind the name. The cost of transferring motor vehicle names (BBNKB) is one of the most widely carried out transactions at the SAMSAT Padang office. At present there are no supporting media for the return of vehicle names, so that taxpayers do not know how much they must pay. To solve this problem, it is necessary to develop an Motorbike Name Return Fee Information System (BBNKB) based on SMS Gateway. SDLC based software development with XP (Extreme Programming) method. This system was developed with the VB.Net programming language, and the MySQL database as a data store and Gammu as an SMS Gateway configuration. The results of this study are an application that can be used for taxpayers to find out the amount of return costs for motorized vehicles, which can improve work efficiency at the SAMSAT office in the city of Padang.   Keywords: SMS Gateway, SAMSAT, Extreme Programming


As there is a rapid increase in the present population waste management has become the serious problem in the current world. So in this paper we are proposed a new system of waste management using an android mobile app with Bluetooth enabled smart dustbin. This android application controlled bot through the lines drawn on the floor. Usually the lines are predefined throughout the path. The predefined paths may a white line on a black surface or vice -versa. The smart dustbin detects a person using IR sensor, if person is detected automatically it will open the cap of the dustbin and if he moves away from the dustbin it will automatically close the cap of the dustbin using stepper motor. It can also be able to detect amount of garbage and odour present in the dustbin using sensors. If any one of these things reached the threshold, it will automatically send a message to the concerned person through GSM module.

<p>Indonesia's high disaster risk requires an information system that can improve effectiveness in disaster response. Therefore, there is a need for an application that could be a means for various information in disaster response in Indonesia. This research uses the Development Life Cycles or SDLC Software, specified with the Waterfall Model. This model has 4 phases, as following: requirement analysis, system analysis, implementation, verification, and maintenance. From this research, a victim-based data collection application can collect data at the disaster site regularly. It also can replace the previous conventional methods so that it can facilitate the National Disaster Management Authority (BNPB) in carrying out information to the community. The results of this study are the prototype of data collection applications in helping disaster response.</p>

Students who are enrolled in computer-related courses need to have a fundamental knowledge and application of Boolean expressions. Learning Boolean algebra and digital logic are somehow difficult for students to grasp especially because these disciplines highly require them of critical thinking and logical understanding. To address this need, the researchers designed and developed a mobile application for Android-enabled phones that will assist the teacher in explaining the concepts of Boolean expressions to students. Developmental-experimental designs of research were used. The data gathered from the respondents were analyzed and utilized in the application development where it accepts Boolean expressions and displays the generated simplified expression, truth table, Karnaugh map, and logic circuit diagrams. The application does not require a network connection and runs only on the Android operating system. The researchers used the following tools in the development of the mobile application: Eclipse as editor, Android Software Development Kit (SDK) as a development tool, and SQLite as its database. The mobile application was tested, evaluated, and used by the respondents. Respondents agreed that the application is better than the manual procedures in simplifying Boolean expressions. Thus, this Android-based application is highly recommended as a tool for teaching Boolean expressions.   Keywords- Information Technology, Boolean algebra, descriptive-developmental method, Philippines

The existence of a destination becomes one aspect of Batam City as a destination for domestic and foreign tourists. Destination places in the form of hotels, tourist destinations, sports, shopping, places of worship and tourism. This tourist destination in the metropolitan city has an important role as the heart of the city community activities. In this study discusses the use of the internet as a medium to find Batam Destination information combined by using an Android-based mobile application. The method used is Location Based Service (LBS) according to the location of the user to get the location and route to the destination of the destination in a quick and easy way. The application design phase uses some storage assistance in MySQL as a database on the webserver. This destination search application has the main feature of being able to find the closest destination location according to the user's location at that time by utilizing GPS technology. After the application is produced it will be tested with Alpha Test. The result of this research is a geographic information system application for Destinations Batam. The results of system testing indicate that this information system is feasible and can be used.

Activities in both government and private agencies require data and information, one of which is archived. Archive is an important factor that supports the smooth running of activities in the agency. The archive information system is created efficiently and effectively with a mobile application based that aims to help users manage archives. In making this information system, Android Studio assistance software is used as a software maker program and Corel Draw as an application design maker. The method used in this application is the waterfall method. The waterfall method is a sequential design process that is often used in software development, the process continues to flow downward like a waterfall through several stages namely system requirements analysis, system design, coding and finally testing. From these problems and methods produced an archive information system that aims to facilitate its users in managing records.Keywords: Information system, Archive, Android Studio, Waterfall

Now a days, meeting doctors is quite too frequent. People always meet doctors in order to get treatment for their symptoms. Existing clinic registration systems have to make an appointment with a doctor only when they visit the clinic or hospital and wait in queues for long hours in order to get treatment and everything was tedious too because everything was done manually. So many mistakes could have been made. Therefore, many online appointment systems have been developed in order to book appointments with doctors through mobile application. No priority based appointments and an emergency situation for appointments with doctors is considered. All these aspects are taken into consideration and an online appointment booking system with doctors is especially designed for the Madurai city, Tamil Nadu, India. We will design an android application that tracks the location of a user using particle swarm optimization algorithm and also it displays the details of all the hospitals and clinics in the Madurai district and the available specialists in each stream. This system uses java programming language as interface between the user and doctor and MySQL as the database.

Poverty is one continuing social issue which is hard to solve. Dealing with this problem, Islam has already had the alternative solution that is tithe (Zakat). Zakat is implemented to decrease economy imbalanced appeared in the society. While in fact, not all the Moslem pay Zakat. There are five factors as the reason why Moslem didn’t do that. First, some Muzakki wants to deliver his zakat directly.Seconde, not all Muzakki know how much Zakat must be paid. The other factors are Limited information about Mustahik home, limited time that Muzakki have to deliver his Zakat directly and the easiness to report Mustahik data. Dealing with those factors, it is required to have an information system which can make Muzakki meets Mustahik. In this research, information system application used Extreme Programming (XP) development method. XP method is required to program a system which will be made by accomodating the users’ needs and expectations.

Library catalog is a documentation or list of all library collections. Unfortunately, there is a problem identified in the process of searching a book inside library catalog in Universitas Multimedia Nusantara’s library information system regarding the relevant result based on user query input. This research aims to design and build a library catalog application on Android platform in order to increase the relvancy of searching result in a database using calculated Rocchio Relevance Feedback method along with user experience measurement. User experience analysis result presented a good respond with 91.18% score based by all factor and relevance value present 71.43% precision, 100% recall, and 83.33% F-Measure. Differences of relevant results between the Senayan Library Information system (SLiMS) and the new Android application ranged at 36.11%. Therefore, this Android application proved to give relevant result based on relevance rank. Index Terms—Rocchio, Relevance, Feedback, Pencarian, Buku, Aplikasi, Android, Perpustakaan.
