Some obstacles in the implementation of Islamic religious education, making the PAI has not been able to produce students of character as much as expected by all parties. There are two dominant causes in the implementation of IE that are less than the maximum. First, IE puts more emphasis on the mastery of texts contained in textbooks and outer cognitive only (cognitive domain), whereas the substance of the cultivation of religious values just disappears as the cognitive knowledge accumulates. Second, the doctrinal learning process must be accepted, without growing the students' critical reason.

This article discusses how to shift the role of teachers and how Islamic education shapes the character of students in the midst of the current 4.0 industrial revolution. The shift in the role of teachers from previously being teacher centered and then becoming facilitators causes a change in the learning orientation paradigm to become student centered. The process of attracting teachers and students in shaping student character is not optimal as in the teacher centered position, it could be because the teachers are no longer free or have more space. Therefore, this shift has implications for the creation of a character crisis for students. The student character crisis has recently become a problem that is busy being discussed and faced by the world of education. It could be because the existence of Islamic education which is thick with a traditional approach (teacher oriented) is no longer considered a solution in the new student-oriented paradigm to shape the character of religious students. Even though the research results explain that the success in shaping the character of students through Islamic religious education has been created through various extra-curricular activities. Because of that, the teacher's ability to insert character values in the learning process, both in intra-curricular and extra-curricular activities is a solution as well as an affirmation that Islamic education is one way of building the character of religious students

The author devoted his research to the role of the UN Security Council at present time and the challenges to its existence as the linchpin of preservation of universal peace, security and stability at the time of transformation of the modern world under the impact of globalization. The research article sheds some light on the process of reforms of the UN Security Council and discussions on this issue in the UN , positions of the permanent members of the SC (“P-5”) and different scenarios of the expansion of the composition of the Security Council (permanent and non-permanent members). In contrast to some optimistic assumptions on the perspectives of the reform the author reinforces a pragmatic approach to the issue. Special emphasis is made on the importance of preserving the exclusive position of permanent members of the SC (“P-5”) as the guarantor of global stability and security. The reform process is closely entwined with another direction of the reform of the SC – strengthening its core functions and strategic role in prevention of international and regional crises. The conclusions and recommendations contain some ideas aimed at strengthening the reform process of the SC and its effectiveness. The SC should be more involved in planning and implementation of the UN peace- keeping operations. The functions of Military Staff Committee should be expanded and the process of consultations within the “P-5” Group should be reviewed with emphasis on taking political decisions on the basis of consensus.

Mental revolution starts from the education. Education is very important, as the strategic role of educations is to form children's mental nation. Development of culture and national character is realized through the area of education. Character development education is a continuous process and never ends (never ending process). As long as a nation exist, a character education must be an integral part of education over the generations. Implementation of character education should not be linked to the budget. It takes commitment and integrity of the stakeholders in the education sector to seriously implement the values of life in every lesson. Character education does not just teach what is right and what is wrong, but also inculcate the habit (habituation) of which one is a good thing. By doing so, students become acquainted (cognitive) about which one is good and bad, able to feel (affective) good value (loving the good/moral feeling), and behavior (moral action), and used to do (psychomotor). Thus, character education is closely related to the habit (custom) practiced and performed. Children do not need a curriculum, but a real life that support them. They learn from real life. What happens now, a lot of value or an existing teachings that are obscured, covered up with a lie that is packaged in an iconic form of advertising that is actually misleading.
