At the present time, the common classification of geophysical maps is missing, which is a consequence of their long-term development of the geological mapping. The features of existing approaches to the definition of geophysical maps’ place among maps of natural phenomena and the limitations of existing lists of mapping themes were determined and identified in this article. New approaches to the classification of geophysical maps that take into account the completeness of their contents and the current state of geophysical mapping were offered. The need to identify wood by its anatomical features requires a detailed analysis of all the elements that make it up. This is a significant problem of structural wood science, the most general and complete solution of which is yet to be sought. In recent years, increasing attention has been paid to the use of computer vision methods to automate processes such as the detection, identification, and classification of different tissues and different tree species. The more successful use of these methods in wood anatomy requires a more precise and comprehensive definition of the anatomical elements, according to their geometric and topological characteristics. In this article, we conduct a detailed analysis of the limits of variation of the location and grouping of vessels in the observed microscopic samples. The present development offers criteria and quantitative indicators for defining the terms shape, location, and group of wood tissues. It is proposed to differentiate the quantitative indicators of the vessels depending on their geometric and topological characteristics. Thus, with the help of computer vision technics, it will be possible to establish topological characteristics of wood vessels, the extraction of which would be used to develop an algorithm for the automatic classification of tree species.

With the rapid development of smart phones, tablets and their operative systems, many positioning enabled sensors have been built into these devices. Users can now accurately fix their location according to the function of GPS receivers. For indoor environments, as in the case we are studying, WiFi based positioning is preferred to GPS due to the attenuation or obstruction of signals. This paper deals with the automatic classification of customers in a Sports Shop Center on the basis of their movements around the shop's premises. To achieve this goal, we start by collecting (x,y) coordinates from customers while they visit the store. Consequently, any costumer's path through the shop is formed by a list of coordinates, obtained with a frequency of one measurement per minute. Then, a guess about the full trajectory is constructed and a number of parameters about these trajectories is calculated before performing an Unsupervised Learning Clustering Process. As a result, we can identify several types of customers, and the dynamics of their behavior inside the shop. This information is of great value to the company, to be used both in the long term and also in short periods of time, monitoring the current state of the shop at any moment, identifying different types of situation appearing during restricted periods, or predicting customer flow conditions

Good faith has been defined as justice, fairness, reasonableness, decency, taking no chances, and so on. The concept of good faith has long been rooted in contract law under the jurisdiction of Civil law, although the definition of it is still debated until today. However, the view of the Common Law tradition does not recognize the concept of good faith as long as the contract is entered into with the freedom of contract and both parties abide by the terms of the contract. Given that a franchise contract involves a long-term contract and always been developed, it is impossible to define both rights and responsibilities base on express terms only. As such, the franchise contract gives the franchisor the right to exercise its discretion in executing the contract. It is in this context that the element of good faith is very important to ensure that the franchisor does not take advantage of the franchisee and that the business continues to prosper. Therefore, the objective of this article is to discuss the concept of good faith in a franchise contract. The findings show that the common law system that initially rejected the application of the concept of good faith also changed its approach and began to recognize the concept of good faith as it is very important for relational contracts such as franchise contracts.

Paraphimosis is an acute condition characterized by all the signs of inflammation. Here we describe a ‘chronic’ variant of paraphimosis where patients often present many days after the initial injury. The aim of this study is to identify and possibly classify this new variation of paraphimosis – the chronic condition. We studied 68 patients with this condition between 1997 and 2005. In all, the prepuce was fibrous and bunched up behind the glans penis and, in some cases, with ulcerations. All patients were treated by excision of the fibrous flap and circumcision, under local anaesthesia. Patients were discharged on the same dayon which the excision was done. Follow-up was on the third, seventh and ninetieth days. Long-term follow-up was possible in only 22 patients. This technique of modified circumcision was effective in treating this condition and we think a new classification of paraphimosis is warranted – acute and chronic.

This paper is devoted to the actual problem of cosmetology - the procedures of filament rejuvenation of face and neck, which become popular every year. Literature data on the efficacy of these methods are controversial. The authors of most works indicate the minimum number of complications in the practical absence of negative appraisal methodology. The issues of development of the indication for use of some types of filaments and optimal criteria of evaluation of the expected effect in clinical practice are relevant and are discussed in this paper. Taking into account the absence of objective information about long-term consequences, other practical aspects of filament rejuvenation, the authors on the basis of many years of research and experience has specified evaluation criteria and suggested own classification of cosmetic filaments used in the method of filament rejuvenation of face and neck. Installation of filaments with different cosmetic features allows to reaching three different anti-aging effects: lifting, reinforcing and bio-stimulation. The degree of manifestation of these effects depends on the installation method of the thread, but first of all - on the design of conductive filament and needle or cannula. Based on the above data, the authors propose to divide all known cosmetic filaments on the basis of their purpose, proceeding from the achieved effect for three species - lifting, reinforcing and bio-stimulating. The new classification can be used in practice to optimize the selection of filaments for rejuvenation of face and neck and to reduce unintended side effects. The proposed classification of filaments has the purpose of definition of a fundamental criterion for their beauty opportunities. The practical application of this classification contributes to ensure adequate choice of filaments to perform the procedure, reduce side effects and create realistic expectations of doctors and patients from the procedures of the rejuvenation of face and neck.

Based on the analysis of the current state of the penal system, the article analyzes present-day approaches in the system of tools for understanding unlawful manifestations of pre-criminal behavior in places of social isolation. It states the importance of traditional methods of operational and investigative diagnostics and operational and investigative identification in obtaining primary information regarding the objects of operational interest. According to the criteria of the criminal encroachment object and the degree of importance of the relations protected by the criminal law, which could be damaged if an offense is committed in terms of social isolation, the article carries out an analysis and offers a classification of the objects that need to be monitored by the operational and institutional control. The article analyses the possibilities of specific characteristics of the digital environment, innovative modeling and forecasting methods that underlie the construction of an abstract model of pre-criminal behavior. On the basis of a comparative analysis of working with the big data, it substantiates the necessity of integrating the existing types of recordings into an entire system. It emphasizes the importance of criminological knowledge in the technology of operational recognition and formulates the definition of recognition of unlawful behavior of an unidentified person in places of social isolation.

Identification of changes in biochemical parameters of liver functional activity during screening studies requires additional examination of the patient in order to determine the genesis of the disease. In recent years, in routine practice, the most frequently used is an isolated definition of the level of transaminases (ALT, AST), which does not allow timely detection of latent cholestasis syndrome. Primary biliary cholangitis (PBC), previously referred to as primary biliary cirrhosis, is a relatively rare chronic autoimmune cholesthetic liver disease, predominantly affecting middle-aged women and prone to progressing liver cirrhosis. The recommendations of AASLD and EASL note the need for long-term monitoring of patients with ongoing UDCA therapy and regular diagnostic studies to identify signs of disease progression. A clinical example of successful treatment of a patient with PBC with the Russian drug Exhol® is described.

The article provides a new classification of evaluative concepts enshrined in the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, indicates the purpose of its existence in the doctrine of criminal law. The article describes the definition of constitutive evaluative concepts that are determined as legislatively vague evaluative concepts that, by their normative-essential and functionally-substantive characteristics, are absolute, necessarily alternative, or accompanying structural features of a crime. Through the prism of the features of constitutive evaluative concepts, their varieties, essential features and functions are distinguished; interpretation (including cognitive) meaning is revealed. Moreover, the interpretation features of these evaluative concepts are considered in two interdependent aspects: the structurally-essential (associated with the types, attributes and functions of constitutive evaluative concepts) and the procedural-substantive (associated with the informative and informative activities of the interpreter). It is indicated that the interpretation features of an structurally-essential nature are, firstly, in the composition and criminogenic properties of constitutive evaluative concepts, and secondly, in the semantic structural composition, indicating a meaningful dependence of the evaluative concept on the accompanying structural features of a crime, and thirdly, legally significant functional features. At the same time, interpretative features of a procedural-substantive order are also highlighted, which include, firstly, the need for a paramount definition of the criminogenic determinant, designed to establish the structural features of a crime in a perfect act, and secondly, in an increased degree of normative casuistic derivative of these evaluative concepts. The author comes to the conclusion that constitutive evaluative concepts are interpreted according to the same logical-linguistic and legal laws, but with some marked structurally meaningful features.

Subject. This article tends the approaches to identifying the category of subsidized budget in the Russian Federation and classifying the regions by level of their subsidy dependence. Objectives. The article aims to explore approaches to the interpretation of the category of subsidized budget, propose criteria for categorizing the regional budgets as the subsidy dependent ones, offer an original definition of the local budget subsidy dependence, and on this basis, classify the regions of Russia by level of subsidy dependence. Methods. For the study, I used the methods of comparative, logical, and statistical analyses, and grouping. Results. The article proposes an original definition of budget subsidy dependence and a classification of regions by subsidy dependence level. It also highlights the main problems of Russia's heavily subsidized regions. Conclusions and Relevance. The proposed identification and classification of subsidized regional budgets and analysis of their current state helped reveal the increasing financial dependence of regional budgets on Federal center grants. The results of the study can be used to further explore the area of modification of regulation of inter-budgetary relations based on the type of subsidization of Russia's regions.

Percival S. Bailey (1892–1973) was a scholar, neuroscientist, neuropathologist, and neurosurgeon who made decisive contributions in the field of neuro-oncology. Far less known are his groundbreaking insights into understanding hypothalamic physiology through the study of craniopharyngiomas. As one of Harvey W. Cushing’s most talented trainees, Bailey was instrumental in developing Cushing’s project of a histologically based prognostic classification of brain tumors. He worked at Peter Bent Brigham Hospital on and off between 1919 and 1928, owing to frequent clashes with his mentor. A major cause of this long-term conflict was Bailey’s 1921 experimental demonstration of the hypothalamic origin of diabetes insipidus and Fröhlich’s syndrome. This finding challenged Cushing’s view that both alterations were due to pituitary gland insufficiency. In a seminal monograph written with John F. Fulton in 1929, both authors provided the first comprehensive account of the specific hypothalamic disturbances caused by tumors that originated within the infundibulum and third ventricle. The methodical study of Cushing’s craniopharyngioma specimens allowed Bailey to recognize the close contact between these lesions and hypothalamic nuclei, a key concept that Bailey originally advanced for proper surgical planning. This article aims to credit Bailey for his pioneering definition of craniopharyngiomas as tumors with a true intrahypothalamic position.
