YouTube creates valuable social media opportunities in eWOM content. Individuals currently discuss products and other matters with their friends and new acquaintances over the internet. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of YouTube eWOM conversations on consumer buying interest. Based on the Information Adoption Model (AIM) and the Theory of Reasoned Action (TRAM), we developed a new conceptual model: The Information Acceptance Model (IACM). In this quantitative study, the population under analysis, composed of followers of a YouTube channel, was selected using purposive sampling so that the number of respondents was 200. We implemented data analysis techniques using the Structural Equation Model with Lisrel. The results show that information quality, information credibility, information needs, information usefulness, information adoption, and attitude towards information influence consumer buying interest.

The study scrutinized the behavioral adoption of informational e-government services among Chinese citizens in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. A structural equation modeling (SEM) technique was applied for the data analysis using Smart PLS 3.0 statistical software. The results show that information quality, information credibility, and ease of COVID-19 informational e-government services are significant in determining citizens’ perception of the usefulness of COVID-19 information shared on e-government platforms. Also, the study revealed that the perceived usefulness of COVID-19 informational e-government services was significant in predicting citizens’ intention to adopt and recommend COVID-19 informational e-government services. The theoretical and practical implications of these findings are interrogated further.

Purpose This study aims to explore the influence of electronic word of mouth (eWOM) in social media on customer loyalty by using the information acceptance model (IACM). For this purpose, this study identified the relationship of attitude towards information, information credibility, information quality and information with information usefulness. Later, the relation of information usefulness and information adoption was examined. According to the IACM, this information adoption and attitude towards information can affect behavioural outcomes of customer, and the authors used customer loyalty as a behavioural outcome. Design/methodology/approach This study collected the data from students enrolled in different universities of Thailand. More specifically, those students were considered appropriate for study who were active Facebook users. Therefore, a questionnaire was posted in 83 different Facebook groups of university students, from which 771 students responded properly. SPSS and AMOS 24 were used to conduct data reliability, descriptive and correlation analysis, confirmatory factor analysis (CFA), and structural equation modelling (SEM). Findings The study found that credibility, quality, usefulness and adoption of information, need of information and attitude towards information are the key factors of eWOM in social media that influence consumers’ loyalty. Practical implications This study will be helpful for marketing managers in studying patterns of customer loyalty because many studies have previously examined purchase behaviour or purchase intention only. Moreover, it will provide framework to marketers for understanding the influence of eWOM information in social media on customer loyalty. Originality/value This study is to explore the effect of credibility, quality, usefulness and adoption of information, need of information and attitude towards information on consumers’ loyalty.

Given the development of the Web 2.0, blog becomes one of the most popular applications in the Internet. Internet users spend a lot of time to post and read articles, search for other’s opinions and recommendations in the blogs. Why so many users are stuck on the blogs? What are the key factors to influence user’s blog continuance? This study uses Post-Acceptance Model of IS Continuance as basic model, and combines with information quality and service quality to explore what factors affect internet user’s continuance of recommendation blog. The study adopts cates recommendation blogs as experiment platform, and collects 212 Taiwanese samples from internet. After the analysis of structural equation model, main results are the followings: (1) Users’ perceived usefulness and satisfaction will affect their continuance of recommendation blog; (2) Users’ perceived usefulness, ease of use, confirmation, and blog’s information quality, service quality will affect users’ satisfaction; (3) Blog’s information quality and service quality will affect users’ confirmation.

The COVID-19 pandemic is affecting business, society, and education worldwide. In particular, it is an example of a non-face-to-face approach in commerce and education. As the pandemic has lasted for nearly two years in Korea, online remote learning has been held at universities for four semesters. There are learning management systems (LMSs) and real-time Zoom lectures for the types of online remote learning widely used at Korean universities, and students and professors are adapting with some difficulties due to the unfamiliar lecture environment. Assessment of students’ online remote learning is essential in reinforcing strengths and compensating for weaknesses. This study aimed to investigate the relationship between online remote learning quality (system quality, information quality, and service quality), flow, and learner satisfaction, and the implications are presented. A survey was conducted on 182 university students, and the structural equation model of AMOS 21.0 was used to analyze the research hypothesis. The results of the empirical analysis were as follows. First, system quality, information quality, and service quality had a positive effect on flow. Second, system quality, information quality, and service quality had a positive effect on learner satisfaction. Third, flow had a positive effect on learner satisfaction. It seems that online remote learning in university is becoming a new normal. In conclusion, the implications and limitations of this study are presented.

PurposeMobile messaging applications (MMAs) have surpassed top social media platforms. Recent and rapid use of MMAs has made it extremely difficult to ignore the existence of customer-to-customer (C2C) mobile information. This study, therefore, aims to expand the knowledge of customers' adoption behaviour of such information.Design/methodology/approachThrough applying and utilizing social support theory (SST) and the information adoption model (IAM), this study introduces a holistic theoretical model, explaining customers' adoption of information derived from MMAs and exploring the antecedents of IAM. Based on the data collected from 305 UK MMA users, this study empirically tests the research model using structural equation modelling estimation.FindingsThe results of this study reveal that social support is a key antecedent of information quality and credibility and support IAM in terms of its ability to explain MMAs' information adoption.Practical implicationsThe insights are valuable for businesses and marketers to understand customers' mobile communications and be socially support-oriented while developing marketing communication strategies.Originality/valueThe study integrates SST and IAM to improve the understanding of customers' information adoption behaviour. It is the first attempt that establishes that social support is a key antecedent of IAM.

PurposeThis study developed a new interpretation of the attitude contagion theory, with the information adoption model (IAM) as the theoretical basis. A review of electronic word-of-mouth studies was conducted by using informational and individual determinants to develop an integrated empirical model that identified the antecedents and consequences of consumer attitude toward online reviews.Design/methodology/approachThis study recruited 750 members of Facebook beauty fan pages in Taiwan and used the structural equation model to test research hypotheses.FindingsResults revealed that perceived “ electronic word-of mouth (eWOM) credibility of online reviews” and “product involvement” could be used to explain the effects of attitude toward online reviews. Regarding the attitude contagion effect, the effect of “attitude toward online review” on both “attitude toward a product” and “attitude toward a brand” is stronger than that on “eWOM adoption.”Originality/valueThis paper provides valuable insights into the antecedents, consequences and mediating mechanisms that determine consumer attitude toward online reviews.

Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are commonly perceived as an essential part of boosting and stabilizing global economic growth. In 2018, SMEs recorded a 38.3% contribution to GDP of RM521.7 billion compared to RM491.2 billion in 2017. SMEs are expected to contribute 50% to Malaysia's GDP by 2030 relative to its present 38% contribution. However, in the context of Malaysia businesses, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises, are still not embracing the latest technology revolution sufficiently, as reported by the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (2018). Malaysia is currently in the third industrial revolution (automation), and some are still under the second industrial revolution. Such matter is worrying as only a few industries in Malaysia can adopt pillars of Industry 4.0, where business owners in Malaysia were still hesitant to embrace technologies such as the cloud. To bridge the gap in this analysis, this research adopted the technology acceptance model developed by Davis (1989) and Rogers' Diffusion Innovation Theory (1995), which incorporates the contexts of technology and innovation among SMEs in Malaysia. By using survey questionnaires, data was collected among manufacturing and services SMEs in Malaysia. Structural equation model employed to assess the important factors of innovation in adopting cloud computing among SMEs in Malaysia by using Smart-PLS. Abstract To fulfill information needs that are relevant, fast, and accurate, the application of information technology, especially computer-based is inseparable from the role of the three basic components of a computer. The success model of the information technology system developed by DeLone & McLean quickly received a response. PT. Bank Lampung as one of the banking service providers in Lampung, is the object of research to determine how variables affect the level of Quality System, Information Quality, Service Quality, Use and Satisfaction and Use of Benefits, to determine the level of effectiveness in PT Bank Lampung's internal customer management information system. SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) is a multivariate statistical technique that is a combination of factor analysis and regression analysis (correlation), which aims to examine the relationship between variables in the model. To explain the overall relationship that exists between the variables in this study using AMOS software (Moment Structure Analysis). This shows that the sample variance-covariance matrix (observation data) I s the same as the estimated matrix of variance-covariance (population) based on the model built, it is expected that the results of this study KI significantly influence P, KI significantly affects KP, KS influences significant impact on P, significantly affecting KS KP, KL significantly affected P, KL significantly affected KP, P significantly affected KP, P significantly affected M, KP significantly affected M.

This study aims to examine customer decisions in investing in BMT. The theory used to predict customer decisions in investing is the theory of reasoned action. The research method used is quantitative research with data analysis techniques Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The results showed that the sharia system, product knowledge, religiosity, attitudes, risk perception, image, and investment intentions affected investment decisions.

This study applied an adoption model, inspired by the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and Multipurpose Information Appliances Adoption Model (MIAAM), to compare key variables explaining adoption patterns of a mobile coaching app that guides and encourages students via a technology-based platform. This article constitutes a pioneer effort to compare adoption behaviors across a developed country and an emerging country (France and Mexico) with differences in level of use of mobile apps. A multi-group structural equation modelling approach was used to test the causal structure of the conceptual model. Results confirmed significant differences and similarities across samples and identified critical factors. Perceived usefulness was found to be the most important driver with mediating effects. Organizations implementing coaching services with an improved perceived usefulness could boost their adoption rates.
