Esta reflexão pretende ver a memória não só como seletiva, mas como um processo de negociação que visa conciliar a memória coletiva e a individual. Para tanto, se pretende considerar imagens e discursos elaborados por sujeitos que ocupam um determinado espaço, espaço esse em que acontecem conflitos, convívio social, trocas de informações, sensibilidades e práticas que conferem sentidos e significados. A internet é, por sua vez, ferramenta de constituição de um sujeito plural.  Ver e analisar a cidade não só por suas construções arquiteturais e por suas possíveis ocupações no espaço, mas, sobretudo, pela dimensão da existência, visto que ela é construída por homens e suas relações é o objetivo desta análise. Cidade.   Narrating the virtual and real: experience of a translation  Abstract   This reflection aims to see not only how selective memory, but as a negotiation process that seeks to reconcile individual and collective memory. To do so, whether to consider pictures and speeches written by individuals who occupy a given space, the space in which conflicts occur, social interaction, information exchange, sensibilities and practices that give sense and meaning. The Internet is, in turn, a tool for creating a plural subject .View and analyze the city not only for their architectural constructions and their possible occupations in space, but mainly by the dimension of existence, since it is built by men and their relationships is the goal of this analysis. A digital city is a social information infrastructure for urban life (including shopping, business, transportation, education, welfare and so on). We started a project to develop a digital city for Kyoto based on the newest technologies including cooperative information agents. This paper presents an architecture for digital cities and shows the roles of agent interfaces in it. We propose two types of cooperative information agents as follows: (a) the front-end agents determine and refine users' uncertain goals, (b) the back-end agents extract and organize relevant information from the Internet, (c) Both types of agents opportunistically cooperate through a blackboard. We also show the research guidelines towards social agents in digital cities; the agent will foster social interaction among people who are living in/visiting the city.

Online communities have become popular among geographically distributed users of the internet. However, there is growing interest in using online communities to support social interaction in geographically-based communities too. In this chapter, we study the value of online sociability and the role of local networking in two different online social internet sites. We present the results of a survey carried out among members of Finnish Facebook groups, and complement the results with interviews for users of a local online service for people living in the surroundings of the city of Helsinki. The goal of this study was to investigate how online groups and services with local content connect with real-life networks and sociability, or whether they remain separated. The results show that Facebook is used mainly for nourishing existing friendships online and less for meeting or looking for information on new people. However, Facebook groups are often connected to real-life activities and places, thus local connections and networks play an important role in the use of Facebook. For the users of the local online service My City, the strong local identity experienced and attachment to the place of residence were important motivators for active participation and the creation of content.

Background: With the development and innovation of digital information technologies and new-generation Internet information platforms, new types of information exchange methods have been spawned. It has broken the restriction of the traditional internet boundary, and integrated all round connections between people and objects. Methods: Based on the above progresses, digital multimedia contents distributed or published much more convenient on the internet than before and most of them without any copyright protection. The dishonest owner can easily copy and distribute digital multimedia content without reducing any perceptual quality. According to the relative concerns, watermark protocol networks play a very important role in the usage tracking and copyrights infringement authentication, etc. However, most of the watermark protocols always require a “fully trusted third party”, which has a potential risk to suffer conspiracy attack. Results: Therefore, in this paper, we focus on designing a watermark protocol with trustless third party via blockchain for protecting copyrights of owners that they want to publish or distribute on the internet. The proposed watermark protocol includes three sub-protocols which covers the negotiation process, transaction process and identification processes. Conclusion: In addition, this paper also provides a fully detail analysis that describes the benefits and weaknesses of current solution.

Yamaha Vixion Club Bandung (YVCB) was formed on July 7, 2007 in the city of Bandung, as a place of friendship between Yamaha Vixion motorcyclists. In its organizational structure, YVCB has a Human Resource Development (HRD) division. Until now, there are more than 800 Yamaha Vixion Club Bandung members. This software is made to facilitate the work of the Yamaha Vixion Club Bandung HRD Division in processing member data. Created using Microsoft Webmatrix as an editor with the PHP programming language. The database uses MySQL with PHPMyAdmin as the software. The method used in making this software is prototyping so that between developers and customers can understand each other what the customer wants. The purpose of making web-based member data management software is that in terms of managing member data it can be done anytime and anywhere by just accessing the internet. In the use of the program, the author chose to use PHP, because PHP is the best and easiest to use in website programming language. Based on the last paragraph, the author intends to make aplication based computerized attendance so that become effective and efficient in terms of time.

Jerusalem played an important role in the establishment of collective memory studies by Maurice Halbwachs in the early twentieth century. Recent studies in this field draw attention to the contribution of a variety of agents to building, maintaining, and challenging collective memory realms. Following suit, this article deals with the methods that agents of an alternative collective memory for Jerusalem use to challenge the Israeli hegemonic narrative. Before reviewing their activities in East and West Jerusalem and their resources and impact, I summarize the hegemonic narrative as presented in four memory realms. Special attention is given to both sides’ use of the Internet as a means of overcoming the physical limitations of memory realms.

This article is devoted to the study of the multimedia environment of the polemic discourse in German media with its diverse formats of impact on the audience and the actively developing internal dynamics of texts. If at the end of the XXth century the specifics of German media were the use of the Internet site as one of the possibilities to present copies of newspapers and magazines in electronic form, today we can speak of modified, hybrid Internet versions of printed publications that do not just create websites on the Internet that duplicate their main activity, but also combines the features of the traditional press and features of the functioning of texts on the Internet. The transition from linear, monomedia broadcasting platforms to discrete, multimedia ones has a significant impact on the process of creating, designing and placing modern polemics. Texts of articles and user comments are considered in the article as tmaterialization of the polemic discourse in the media. Polemic texts are formed on the basis of intertextual structures and have a hypertext nature. The use of multimedia tools (a variety of fonts, graphics, animation, photo, video and sound) in the text of the article allows the author not only to expand the amount of information provided, but also to qualitatively supplement its content through inline inclusions tn the text, to express the meaning of information by referring to verbal and non-verbal means; to provide a visual and figurative presentation of information (graphs, charts, tables), to attract attention and influence the audience, as well as to provide readers with the opportunity to participate in information exchange.

By interconnecting nanomachines and forming nanonetworks, the capacities of single nanomachines are expected to be enhanced, as the ensuing information exchange will allow them to cooperate towards a common goal. Nowadays, systems normally use electromagnetic signals to encode, send and receive information, however, in a novel communication paradigm, molecular transceivers, channel models or protocols use molecules. This article presents the current developments in nanomachines along with their future architecture to better understand nanonetwork scenarios in biomedical applications. Furthermore, to highlight the communication needs between nanomachines, two applications for nanonetworks are also presented: i) a new networking paradigm, called the Internet of NanoThings, that allows nanoscale devices to interconnect with existing communication networks, and ii) Molecular Communication, where the propagation of chemical compounds like drug particles, carry out the information exchange.

AbstractAs people grow old, many risk becoming chronically lonely which is associated with e.g. depression, dementia, and increased mortality. Whoever else should help to protect them from this risk, various philosophers have argued that any children that they might have will often be among them. Proceeding on this assumption, this article considers what filial duties to protect ageing parents from loneliness consist of, or might consist of. I develop my answer by showing that a view that may be intuitively plausible, namely that they simply require children to visit their ageing parents regularly when they can do so at reasonable cost and call, text, and/or email them from time to time, is defective in three respects. First, it ignores children’s potential responsibilities to encourage and/or facilitate social interaction between their parents and third parties. Second, it ignores their potential responsibilities to help provide their parents with non-human companionship. Third, it elides over their duties to coordinate their efforts to offer loneliness protection with others. What I end up proposing instead, then, is an approach for protecting ageing parents from loneliness that is multi-faceted.
