AbstractThis study to describe the: 1) implementation of the use of WhatsApp groups as learning media for DTA At-Tawakal students in the city of Bandung, 2)  the result of the use of WhatsApp groups as learning media for DTA At-Tawakal students in the city of Bandung, 3) evaluate of the use of WhatsApp groups as learning media for DTA At-Tawakal students in the city of Bandung. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. The subjects of this study were the DTA At-Tawakal tutors and students. Data collection is done by the method of observation,interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of this research was carried out throught the implementation and monitoring stages, the results of the implementation of the research into student in research are helped to obtain learning by using the WhatsApp groups as the medium, the evaluation of this research is to improve the existing deficiencies and obtacles.AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan: 1) Pelaksanaan penggunaan grup WhatsApp sebagai media pembelajaran terhadap peserta didik DTA At-Tawakal di Kota Bandung, 2) Hasil penggunaan grup WhatsApp sebagai media pembelajaran terhadap peserta didik DTA At-Tawakal di Kota Bandung, dan 3) Evaluasi penggunaan grup WhatsApp sebagai media pembelajaran terhadap peserta didik DTA At-Tawakal di Kota Bandung. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Subyek penelitian ini adalah tutor dan peserta didik DTA At-Tawakal. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan penelitian ini dilakukan melalui tahap pelaksanaan dan monitoring, hasil dari pelaksanaan penelitian ini peserta didik menjadi terbantu untuk mendapatkan pembelajaran dengan penggunaan grup WhatsApp sebagai medianya, evaluasi dari penelitian ini adalah memperbaiki kekurangan dan hambatan yang ada.Kata Kunci: Grup WhatsApp, media pembelajaran.

This study aims to explain and describe the language errors of semantic level in students’ scientific work from various Indonesian islands in the city of Madiun. The study was conducted at two major universities in Madiun City. The type of research used in this research is a descriptive qualitative research through observation and field note techniques as data collection techniques. The result of the data is students’ assignment papers. Data analysis techniques used in this study issharing methods or distribution methods with advanced techniques in the form of expansion (expansion) techniques and changing forms. The conclusions of this study are: (1) Usage error of similar words, consisting of (a) 88 errors of cognate pairing, (b) 79 errors of ambiguous pairing and (c) 65 errors of contended pairing. (2) Word choice (diction) errors, which consist of (a) 87 errors because do not meet the truth requirements, (b) 89 errors because do not meet the accuracy requirements, and (c) 90 errors because do not meet the standard requirements.In addition, errors in the word choices or diction occur due to factors influenced by the language that was mastered first.

This study aims to find out the shape and proportion of monument statues of veterans in the building yudha bhakti DPD legion of veterans of the Republic of Indonesia in the city of Medan. The problem is focused on the shape and structure of the proportions of the sculpture that are less in accordance with anatomical theory. Data collection procedures are carried out through observations, interviews and documentation studies. The data is observed by deciphering and clarifying based on the anatomical form of the statue. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative research, because it is a research that seeks to break down, explain and describe all data obtained from research. The results showed that veteran monument statues still have shortcomings, both in terms of shape and proportion, but this does not reduce the implied meaning of the monument statues of veterans of the Republic of Indonesia in the city of Medan.

Buying and selling activities are one of the community’s needs as facilities and infrastructure of daily needs. Here, the market as one of the tools where there is buying and selling interaction. The marketing environment can change and be uncertain and provide not only opportunities but also threats. The Bandar market is a traditional market that sells the needs for essential materials at an affordable price for the community. The purpose of this research is to determine the behaviour of traders and compliance with the basic principles of Islamic markets. This type of research uses descriptive qualitative research. Data collection techniques using observation, interview, and documentation. The conclusion of this research is the traders’ behaviour in the Bandar market which already tolerable and precise even though the city market is essentially a conventional market, and traders in the Bandar market already apply the principle of Ar-Ridhla, healthy competition, honesty, openness, and justice properly. Panitia Pengawas Pemilu atau biasa disebut Panwaslu merupakan salah satu penyelenggara Pemilu yang memiliki tugas dan kewenangan untuk mengawasi pemilu, pada penyelenggaraan pemilihan Gubernur dan Wakil Gubernur di Banten 2017. Panwaslu Kota Tangerang sebagai salah satu penyelenggara pemilu memiliki tugas dan wewenang untuk mengawasi jalannya pemilihan diwilayah Kota Tangerang. Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan peran Panwaslu Kota Tangerang dalam Pengawasan Pemilihan Gubernur dan Wakil Gubernur Banten 2017. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara dan juga studi dokumen. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa Panwaslu Kota Tangerang dalam pengawasan pemilihan Gubernur dan Wakil Gubernur Banten 2017 telah melakukan tugasnya sesuai dengan peraturan perundang-undangan, namun dalam pelaksanaan tugasnya mengalami memiliki hambatan. Panwaslu mengawasi KPU, peserta pemilu dan pemilih dengan cara mengikuti setiap tahapan pemilihan yang ada dan juga Panwaslu memiliki lembar laporan yang akan menjadi acuan dalam melakukan segala tindakan atau memberikan rekomendasi kepada KPU. selain itu juga panwaslu mengawasi pemilih, dalam mengawasi pemilih itu sendiri seperti mengawasi daripada netralitas Aparatur Sipil Negara (ASN) Panwaslu juga mengingatkan serta memberikan peringatan terhadap ASN terlebih dengan memberikan sosialisasi tentang pentingnya netralitas ASN dalam pemilu, namun yang terjadi masih saja ditemukan pelanggaran yang dilakukan dan Panwaslu hanya dapat memberikan surat peringatan atau melakukan pemanggilan namun tidak dilakukan sanksi apapun terhadap pelanggar tersebut. The Election Oversight Committee or commonly called Panwaslu is one of the organizers of the Election who has the duty and authority to oversee the election, in organizing the election of Governor and Deputy Governor in Banten 2017. The Tangerang City Election Supervisory Committee as one of the election organizers has the duty and authority to oversee the election in the City Tangerang. The purpose of this research was to describe the role of Tangerang City Panwaslu in Supervising the Election of Banten Governor and Deputy Governor of 2017. The approach used in this study was descriptive qualitative research using data collection techniques in the form of interviews and document studies. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the Panwaslu of the City of Tangerang in the supervision of the election of the Governor of Banten and Deputy Governor of 2017 has carried out their duties in accordance with the laws and regulations, but in carrying out their duties they have obstacles. The Election Supervisory Committee oversees the KPU, election participants and voters by following each election stage and Panwaslu has a report sheet that will become a reference in taking all actions or providing recommendations to the KPU. besides that the Election Supervisory Committee oversees the voters, in overseeing the voters themselves such as overseeing the neutrality of the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) Panwaslu also reminded and warned against ASN especially by providing socialization on the importance of ASN neutrality in elections, but violations were committed. This article aims to describe: the implementation of the SQ3R model to the ability to examine the characters contained in fiction texts in grade IV students of SDN Ganung Kidul 1 Nganjuk in the 2019/2020 Academic Year. This article is an descriptive qualitative research carried out through five stages, namely: (1) data collection; (2) determination of the sample; (3) recording data; (4) reduction; and (5) drawing conclusions. Data sources in this article are journals and books relating to the learning of the SQ3R model on learning to examine the characters contained in fiction texts. These data provide an overview of the application of the SQ3R model on the ability to examine the characters contained in fictional texts. Furthermore, the object of the research is the learning model SQ3R with a subject of 22 students. The conclusion of the article shows that: this SQ3R model is very good to be applied to the basic competencies of Indonesian language class IV semester II, namely the ability to examine the characters contained in fiction texts.

This paper portrays the implementation of character education based on Javanese unggah-ungguh (etiquette) in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Karanganyar, using 24 students from 5th-grade who were mentioned as the alpha generation in 2020. Generally, this generation refers to children born after 2010 in this digital era. The unggah-ungguh is one of the Indonesian ancestral heritages that must be preserved, as though it may originate from Java, it strongly represents the culture of the country’s society. Six (6) characters of Javanese unggah-ungguh were used in this research as indicators, which are tata krama (manners), lembah manah (relent), andhap asor (humility), tepa slira (tolerance), grapyak (friendliness), and ewuh-pekewuh (reluctance). This study was descriptive qualitative research that focused on observing the realization of character education based on this culture, using observation, interview, survey, and documentation as the data collection instruments. As reviewed from the affective theory of Krathwohl Taxonomy, the education character based on Javanese unggah-ungguh has influenced three-component domains of affective attitudes, which are in the level of receiving or attending, responding, and valuing. Lastly, the result showed that implementing character education based on this culture has truly shaped a better personality for students in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Karanganyar as the alpha generation.

This research aims to figure out the types of personification used in one of the famous albums namely Michael Jackson's Thriller and Invincible. The sources of data were 19 songs taken from Thriller and Invincible albums by Michael Jackson and the lyrics of the songs. The research design used was descriptive qualitative research with documentation analysis as the technique of data collection. The result showed that there were 65 personification expressions found in the albums. Those 65 personifications were categorized into four types of personification as proposed by Dorst et al. (2011) namely: conventionalized personification (33 expressions), novel personification (20 expressions), default personification (12 expressions), and personification-with-metonymy (0 expressions). The idea of conventionalized personification presents in the lyrics is to dig out the beauty and tranquility of nature to life. It also might address giving an object or animal-human characteristics to create interesting imagery to the ELT Students. Also, these songs are assumed as one of the various English materials in language teaching in the future since it has no sarcasm and motivating contexts throughout the lyrics themselves.

A integração de ambientes virtuais e seus aplicativos no processo de ensino e aprendizagem possibilitam novas proposições aos alunos, bem como diversificam e apoiam as ações do professor. A presente pesquisa caracterizada como qualitativa analisou como 10 professores, de uma escola particular da cidade de Londrina (PR), consideram o uso do fórum de discussão para o processo de ensino e aprendizagem escolar presencial. Para a coleta de dados foram aplicadas quatro questões abertas. Os resultados indicaram que os fóruns, apesar de ainda serem pouco utilizados pelo grupo entrevistado, mostraram-se uma ferramenta muito útil para despertar no estudante o interesse por participar das atividades propostas pelo professor emitindo sua opinião e instigando o debate entre os colegas. Além disso, possibilita a articulação dos conteúdos presenciais da sala de aula com novos debates decorrentes das discussões, que transcendem para outros ambientes de aprendizagem. Palavras-chave: Ensino. Fórum. AbstractThe integration of virtual environments and their applications in the teaching and learning process offers new propositions to the students and it also diversifies and supports the teacher’s actions. The present qualitative research analyzed how ten teachers from a private school in the city of Londrina (PR), consider the use of the discussion forum for the process of onsite teaching and learning. For the data collection, four open-ended questions were applied. The results indicated that the forums, although still not frequently used by the interviewed group, proved to be a very useful tool to awaken the students’ interest in participating in the activities proposed by the teacher, expressing their opinions and instigating the debate among the classmates. In addition, it makes it possible to articulate classroom contents with new debates resulting from discussions that transcend to other learning environments. Keywords: Teaching. Learning. Forum.

ABSTRACTThe objectives of this study are (1) to describe the rules of writing format in several journals in Indonesia, namely Rhetoric, Articulation, Salingka, Litera, and Literacy Pens and (2) find manifestations of the different writing formats and shell styles in the journal. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. The object of this research are several scientific journals in Indonesia, namely Rhetoric, Articulation, Salingka, Litera, and Pen Literacy. The data collection technique used in this study is referring to obtaining data by listening to the use of the writing format in the journal and the style of the environment used. The results of the analysis and discussion of the differences in writing formats and confinement styles in the Rhetoric, Articulation, Salingka, Litera, and Pen Literacy journals can be concluded that there are differences in writing formats and confinement styles in each journal that are influenced by the policies of the journal parties concerned. This article is intended as knowledge for writers, especially beginner writers in writing journal articles to find out the format desired by a journal page. This is as a condition for a journal article to be posted on the journal's page. The results of journal articles indicate that there are differences and similarities between the five journals.

The purpose of this research was to find a solution during the pandemic recovery covid-19 with the strengthening of alternative food entrepreneurship sorghum. The research method uses qualitative research methods in entrepreneurship, descriptive qualitative action research  with data collection techniques in the form of observation and documentation, after the data collected is then analyzed statistically descriptive. The results showed that sorghum can be used as a national food stock facing a crisis and pandemic covid-19, sorghum food stock in the form of grains, rice, flour, soft brand sorghum, and various processed sorghum. National sorghum food stock strategy includes strengthening clusters and production centers, silo utilization cooperation, socialization of various sorghum products, and strengthening Center of Sorghum Entrepreneur (CSE) and Sorghum Entrepreneurship Unit (SEU).
