They need certain methods to learn these skills to get effective results. Video-Based Instruction is one method to teach these skills. This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of Video-Based Instruction on the practice of personal hygiene during menstruation on Intellectual Disability students. Methods: This is quantitative research with pre-experimental type and one group pretest-posttest design. The data collection tool is a "personal hygiene" questionnaire. The data analysis method uses a paired sample t-test with the help of SPSS version 25. This research conducted at SLB Negeri 3 Central Jakarta with a total sample is 20 respondents selected by the purposive sampling technique. Results: Most respondents were 14 years old (20%), 7th grade (30%), get menarche at 12 and 13 years (25%). The mean score for the practice of personal hygiene during menstruation pre-test is 41.30 and post-test is 53.20. Paired sample t-test results showed that sig. (2-tailed) <0.001. Conclusion: The results showed that it received Ha, which means that there is an effect of Video-Based Instruction on the practice of personal hygiene during menstruation on Intellectual Disabilities students. The results also showed that there are mean score differences of the pre-test and post-test results, which is an increase in the mean score of the post-test results by 11,90.

The Qur'an learning is very fundamental in Islamic education, especially in elementary education. The Qur'an is one of the subjects that must be taught to children. Early education in the Qur'an is expected to produce young people having a strong mental foundation, education not only makes children as prosperous in the world, but also provides sufficient provisions to both improve their religion and practice their scriptures. To be able to practice the Holy Qur'an correctly, children must be guided and taught how to read the Qur'an properly in accordance with the rules of true recitation. In fact the Qur'an learning at MI AL-Hidayah Mangkujajar Kembangbahu Lamongan initially tended to be monotonous for being dominated by conventional learning methods. As a result,  the Qur'an learning only produced generations that could read the Qur'an with the average ability without any sense of love and closeness to the Qur'an instead of having enthusiasm in learning it well. As time goes by, the Qur'an learning at MI Al-Hidayah has increasingly developed by applying the so-called Wafa method. This method teaches children to be able to read and memorize the Qur'an by maximizing the right brain. This is classified as a new method, but it is quite practical and fun in the learning process. The research was aimed at determining the effect of the Wafa method on the ability of children to read the Qur'an at MI Al-Hidayah Mangkujajar Kembangbahu Lamongan. The research method is quantitative with the experimental type of one group pretest-post test, data analysis techniques use the mean pretest and posttest, in addition, to testing the hypothesis it uses the Paired Sample T-Test with the SPSS 16. The results showed the influence of the Wafa method on the children ability to read the Qur'an at MI Al-Hidayah Mangkujajar Kembangbahu Lamongan. It was proven from the results of the analysis through the mean pretest formula, it was obtained a value of 82.92 and increased in the acquisition of the mean value of posttest amounted to 85.75. In addition, in the Paired Sample T-Test based on significance values with SPSS 16, it is known that the Sig. (2-tailed) value is 0,000 <0,05, because sig. (2-tailed) of 0,000 is smaller than 0.05, then the hypothesis is accepted and it could be concluded that there is an influence of the WAFA Method on the ability to read the Qur'an at MI Al-Hidayah Mangkujajar Kembangbahu Lamongan.

The study was aimed to examine the effectiveness of the English conversation to improve students’ speaking skill focusing on whether English conversation effective in speaking skill and how is the effectiveness of the English conversation to improve students’ speaking skill. The research was designed in a pre-experimental pre-test and posttest research, where the research only applied the English conversation to the experimental group that consisted of 28 students. The sample of the study was taken by using cluster random sampling technique. It was taken randomly of 148 second grader students of MTs. Negeri Masbagik as the population of the study. The gaining data of pre-test and post-test was taken by requiring the students to make and practice a conversation in front of the class based on the material that was learnt before. Later, the pre-test and post-test data was analyzed by using descriptive statistics and Paired Sample t-test to test the hypothesis. Having collected and calculated the data by using descriptive statistics, the present researcher found out that descriptive statistic result showed the mean score of the pre-test was 7.21 while the mean of the post-test was 9.25. The result of hypothesis testing by using Paired-Sample t-test was t(27) = 11.68 at p = .000. It was lower than .05 so it means that the null hypothesis (Ho) was rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted. In other word that the English conversation was significantly effective in speaking skill.

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the relative effectiveness of Plasma TV (PTV) integration in teaching secondary school Biology at Haramaya University Secondary Model School Ethiopia. The sample consisted of 48 students from Grade 9 and were randomly split into control [non-plasma TV] and experimental [plasma TV] groups. A chapter on “Cell Biology” was taught to the two groups by two teachers having similar qualifications for a month's time. After the treatment, post-test was administered to the subjects. Independent-sample t-test was used to determine whether there was a statistically significant difference in the mean scores of the two groups. The analysis of data indicated that there were no significant differences in the mean scores between the two groups on pre and post- tests. Similarly, high achievers in the control and experimental groups didn't significantly differ either. Furthermore, there was no significant mean scores difference between low achievers of control and experimental groups. The results generally implied that teaching students through PTV didn't significantly contribute to better understanding of the lesson compared to the conventional method of teaching. Finally, the present study provides an opportunity to be replicated to make a comprehensive conclusion about the effectiveness of PTV to teach secondary school Biology.

This study investigates the effectiveness of mobile learning in the teaching and learning of Probability. The context of mobile here is not just restrained to gadgets such as smartphones but also the fact that teaching and learning can occur beyond boundaries and anywhere according to the convenience and personal preference of the students. This study made use of the pretest – posttest quasi experimental design and the students chosen for the study were from a pre-university college located in the northern region of the country. A total of 92 students made up the sample of the study. There were 46 students each in the experimental and control groups respectively. Cluster random sampling was employed as the sampling method here. The instrument used to collect data with the aim of strengthening the outcome of the study was the achievement test. A quantitative approach was undertaken specifically to analyse the obtained data. The paired sample t-test and independent sample t-test were executed in the data analysis process. Initially, every student involved in the study regardless of the group they were in possessed equal strength in their understanding of the content being covered as indicated by the results of their pre-test. The paired sample t-test yielded p < 0.05 which meant that there was a significant difference between the mean score of the pre-test and post-test in the experimental group and control group respectively. The outcome of the independent sample t-test showed that there was a significant difference between the mean score of the experimental group and that of the control group in the post-test (p < 0.05). This indicated that the treatment via mobile learning had indeed played a role in the improved performance of students in Probability, hence proving the effectiveness of mobile learning in the teaching and learning of Probability.
