The payment system accumulates through an interbank fund transfer system, banking procedures, and a set of instruments that guarantee the circulation of money (Hancock & Humphrey, 1997). The theory of money expressed by Fisher is very striking and different from Marx’s. Marx only emphasizes monetary developments as contemporary capitalism. However, Fisher on the form of money and the function of money in a certain amount (as cited in Ivanova, 2020). The flow of electronic and digital transactions has continued to innovate over the past decade. An important point of this research is to identify electronic transactions and digital transactions against the velocity of money (VoM) in Indonesia. Fisher’s theory of money is applied to this study. Through a quantitative approach, time-series data for 2009–2019 was collected from the Bank of Indonesia and BPS-Indonesia. Multiple linear regression analysis is useful in interpreting the data. As a result, we find electronic transactions measured by credit cards appear to have a negative effect on VoM, but the impact is significant. Meanwhile, debit cards actually have a positive and significant effect on the value of VoM. Interestingly, other empirical results explore the relationship of digital transactions represented by e-money with VoM, where the effect is negative and insignificant. This finding is also very relevant to banking efforts to harmonize and adopt advanced technology in the financial system

This research aims to determine whether the macroeconomic variables i.e., the exchange rate, inflation and BI rate simultaneously and partially influence Indonesia Composite Index at The Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The approach in this study is a quantitative method, using multiple linear regression analysis. The data used are time series data from January 2014 until December 2018. The result indicates that exchange rates, inflation and BI together have a significant impact to Indonesia Composite Index. Individually, only the BI rate variable has a significant effect and has a negative effect to Indonesia Composite Index. The exchange rate and inflation had no significant effect to Indonesia Composite Index.

The paper analyses four influencing factors toward the Indonesian sovereign sukuk price in the secondary market during the period January 2015 to June 2018, namely liquidity, coupon, maturity and the Indonesia composite index (ICI). The model used is multiple linear regression analysis with time series data obtained from the Ministry of Finance of Indonesia. The results of the analysis show that liquidity had a significant positive effect on the sovereign sukuk price in the secondary market, that coupon also had a significant positive effect; maturity had a significant negative effect, while the Indonesia composite index had a significant positive effect.==============================================================================================Faktor-faktor yang Mempengaruhi Harga Sukuk Indonesia di Pasar Sekunder.

Lampung is one of the provinces in Indonesia that feels the impact of regional autonomy, so a measuring tool is needed to determine the economic condition per period through gross regional domestic product. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of Regional Original Income, General Allocation Funds, and Special Allocation Funds on GRDP. This study uses a quantitative approach. The type of data used is secondary data found on the official website of BPS Lampung. The type of data used is time series data in the 2016-2018 period and cross section data for 15 districts/cities in Lampung Province. The statistical analysis method used is multiple linear regression analysis, using the SPSS 20 program. The results of the analysis conclude that: Regional Original Income has a positive effect on GRDP, General Allocation Funds have a positive effect on GRDP, and the Special Allocation Fund K has no effect and is negative on GRDP. GRDP. Simultaneously, the variables of Regional Original Revenue, General Allocation Fund, and Special Allocation Fund have a significant effect on GRDP.

PurposeTo satisfy donors and reduce public procurement acquisition prices, Benin has implemented and amended its first public procurement code guided by top-down principles of good governance.Design/methodology/approachThis study aims to measure the impact of the code and its amendment on public procurement acquisition prices of health-care equipment from 1995 to 2010.FindingsA segmented linear regression analysis was performed using interrupted time-series data. The analysis shows that the code and its amendment did not reduce acquisition prices, indicating the limited impact of the code. The authors recommend the implementation of bottom-up processes in establishing the public procurement system, and the development of a reference pricelist of the most widely used health-care equipment, as possible solutions for improving the effectiveness of the code.

Remittances from abroad play a key role in the development of many West African countries. Remittances tend to increase the income of recipients, reduce shortage of foreign exchange and help alleviate poverty. This research examines the impact of remittances on economic growth in four selected West African countries: Cameroon, Cape Verde, Nigeria and Senegal. Using developmentalist, structuralist and pluralist views on remittances, a linear regression was run on time series data from the World Bank database for the period 2000–2010. After a critical analysis of the impact of remittances on economic growth in these four countries, it was found that inflow of remittances to Senegal and Nigeria has a positive effect on these countries’ gross domestic product whereas for Cape Verde and Cameroon it had a negative effect. Cameroon benefitted the least from remittances and Nigeria benefitted the most within the period. One contribution of this study is the finding that remittance inflows need to be invested in productive sectors. Even if remittances continue to increase, without investment in productive sectors they cannot have any meaningful impact on economic growth in these countries.

Islamic banking has an important role in the economy, especially in moving the real sector. Islamic banking provides funding to the public in the form of financing. The financing provided cannot be separated from various risks that can threaten the health of the bank, one of which is financing risk. For that, the purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of financing on financing risk in Islamic banks for the period 2015 to 2020. The method used in this study is quantitative with multiple linear regression analysis techniques. This study uses time-series data and the variables in this study are mudharabah, musyarakah, murabahah, ijarah financing, and total assets as independent variables and NPF as a dependent variable. The results of the study concluded that total assets had a negative and significant effect on NPF and murabahah financing had a positive and significant effect on NPF. Meanwhile, mudharabah, musyarakah, and ijarah financing has no significant effect on NPF.

The type of data used in this study is secondary data in the form of time series data and variable data used are annual data in the period 1986-2017 with the object of research in the country o Indonesia. The data sources used in this study were obtained from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) Indonesia and World Bank. The analytical method used in this study is multiple linear regression analysis with the Ordinary Least Square (OLS) technique. The estimation of time series data with multiple linear regression analysis shows that the economics growth variable has a positive and not significant effect on the level of open unemployment, the inflation variable has a positive and not significant effect on the level of open unemployment, and the population growth variable has a negative and significant effect on the level of open unemployment in Indonesia. Keywords: Open Unemployment, Economic Growth, Inflation, Population Growth
