Ahok's speech in Kepulauan Seribu was viral on the internet. The speech put the ethnic Chinese Christian Jakarta governor into a national spotlight. Mass media then sought to interpret Ahok's speech by framing its content. Using Robert Entman's framing theory, this paper analyzes online media framing of Republika and Kompas on Ahok and a blasphemy case involving him. Content analysis of the news articles published by the two online media shows that the framing of Ahok and the blasphemy case differ in reporting and focus. Kompas Online mostly reported positive news about Ahok, while Republika Online demonstrated a different pattern of framing. On the blasphemy case, Kompas Online focused on defense, whereas Republika Online emphasized that Ahok had insulted Islam and had to be jailed. These differences are manifestations of an ideological clash between Kompas and Republika.

The development of information is currently very rapid with the internet. Mass media such asnewspapers have now done a lot of rebranding to online media or websites. Just like what has beendone by jawapos newspaper which now has an online newspaper or commonly called with onlinemedia. In jawapos there is a zetizen rubric that used to be called detection. Zetizen discusses youngpeople one of them contained romance articles. This study chose the romance article because it is oneof the articles favored by teenagers today. The formulation of the problem of this research is how theconcept of romance in the articles displayed on the website zetizen.com? This study aims to find theconcept of romance and describe the message content of the romance article on zetizen.com. Themethod used to reveal it is by content analysis, that is using an approach with framing analysis. Theresults showed that the concept of romance that carried by zetizen that is in the form of new thingsthat are popular among teenagers.  The growth of the mass media industry in recent years has shown increasingly tight competencies. At first there were only electronic media and print media such as radio, television and newspapers. But now there are online media via the Internet such as websites or web. The development of online media users in Indonesia makes print media, such as radio, should present the best breakthrough for the target audience, to survive in the future.This research is intended to examine the effect of the program quality "Halo Kaltim" to the listener's satisfaction at Radio Republik Indonesia Samarinda. The research was conducted using regression analysis techniques on 88 listeners of the Interactive Dialogue Program "Halo Kaltim".The results showed that program quality had a positive and significant effect on listener satisfaction. This shows that improve the program quality "Halo Kaltim" will increase the listener's satisfaction of the program "Halo Kaltim" Radio Republik Indonesia Samarinda.Radio Republik Indonesia Samarinda is expected to maintain the interactive dialogue program quality "Halo Kaltim" because it has a significant effect on listeners' satisfaction Interactive Dialogue Radio Program "Halo Kaltim" Radio Republik Indonesia Samarinda.

Mass media is an effective instrument in shaping public opinion. Though mass media is believed to be principally transparent and independent, the information presented to the public is the result of human construction based on their understanding of the reality of knowledge. In this topic, majority of Moslem, recently, claim that some popular mass media are not objective in reporting terrorism. For that reason, this article efforts whether the image of Islam as a religion of terror is constructed, especially from the online media framing in Kompas.com about the incident in Charlie Hebdo’s media in Paris.

<p class="15bIsiAbstractBInggris"><em><span lang="EN-US">This study discusses Mass Media Management with topics on the management of the company PT Suwadarma Media Cita Jurnal Bogor. A number of background of this research is the emergence of online media competitors that have become a major influence on mass media companies engaged in the print sector.</span></em><em><span lang="EN-US">This is a factor causing many media companies engaged in the print sector to be forced to close down. So in this study 3 (three) formulations of the problem were formulated, namely: How is the development of the Bogor Journal in the face of current online media competition? How is Bogor Journal Management in dealing with media development? especially online media? What are the characteristics of the Bogor Journal as a channel for information in packaging news so that it is interesting, without losing the accuracy of the news itself?</span></em><em><span lang="EN-US">The purpose of this study was to determine the management level of the Bogor Journal so that it still existed and remained competitive with other media. Especially online media.</span></em><em><span lang="EN-US">This study uses a qualitative approach. Using descriptive content analysis research. This method is used to analyze the company management of PT Suwadarma Media Cita Journal Bogor in carrying out its management so that it can compete with competitors in running a journalistic business which until now can still survive along with the rapid development of technology in the journalistic world.</span></em><em><span lang="EN-US">In this study, researchers used data retrieval methods through documentation with visual and non-visual recording instruments.</span></em><em><span lang="EN-US">By using content analysis methods, it can be seen that the presence of online media greatly influences the sustainability of print media companies. One of them is the Bogor journal. So that in managing it, the Bogor Journal carefully anticipates the existence of the online media. One of them is by making it a business opportunity even though it cannot be denied that it has an impact on the production of the Bogor Journal newspaper. In its strategy, Bogor Journal can follow the development of existing technology. Newspapers published by Bogor Journal have a more attractive and modern appearance, as one of the strategies to attract and be accepted by the public.</span></em><em><span lang="EN-US">Recommendations for further research in order to develop this research in more depth about the management of mass media companies in order to better manage them, provide input for previous research. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pendekatan kualitatif. Menggunakan jenis penelitian deskriptif analisis isi. Metode ini digunakan untuk menganalisis manajemen persahaan PT Sawardana Media Cita Jurnal Bogor dalam menjalankan manajemennya sehingga dapat bersaing dengan kompetitor dalam menjalankan bisnis jurnalistik yang sampai saat ini masih dapat bertahan seiring perkembangan teknologi yang semakin berkembang pesat dalam dunia jurnalistik. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan metode pengambilan data melalui dokumentasi dengan intrumen rekaman <em>visual </em>maupun <em>non visual.</em> Dengan menggunakan metode analisis isi, dapat dilihat bahwa Hadirnya media <em>online </em>sangat memengaruhi kesinambungan perusahan media cetak. Salah satunya jurnal bogor. Sehingga dalam memanajemennya, Jurnal Bogor dengan cermat mensiasati keberadaan media <em>online</em> tersebut. Salah satunya dengan menjadikannya sebagai peluang usaha meskipun tidak dapa dipungkiri bahwa berdampak kepada produksi koran Jurnal Bogor. Dalam strategi nya, Jurnal Bogor dapat mengikuti perkembangan teknologi yang ada. Koran yang diterbitkan Jurnal Bogor memiliki tampilan yang lebih menarik dan modern, sebagai salah satu strategi agar menarik dan diterima khalayak. Rekomendasi untuk penelitian selanjutnya agar dapat mengembangkan penelitian ini secara lebih mendalam tentang manajemen perusahaan media massa agar dapat lebih baik lagi dalam memanajemennya, Memberikan masukan untuk penelitian sebelumnya. Penulis berharap agar lebih mendalami penelitian yang dilakukan guna menjadi perbaikan di masa yang akan datang.</span></p>

In every presidential election event, the neutrality of the mass media is always a controversy. This happens in any country, including Indonesia.It is interesting to see how online mass media in Indonesia discourse political events after the 2014 presidential election. With the power of speed in presenting news, online media such as detik.com, kompas.com, vivanews.co.id are competing to present their frames on political events that took place.  The focus of this article's study is on online mass media coverage of political events that occurred after the 2014 presidential election. The study was conducted with content analysis of five online media, namely detik.com, kompas.com, okezone.com and republika.co.id. The conclusion obtained is the post-2014 presidential election media discourse, especially after the voting on 9 July 2014, generally revolves around the quick count results of the survey institution's version and the winning claims of each candidate. The mass media, especially detik.com, kompas.com and vivanews.com, compile a discourse with a tendency to take sides with one of the pairs based on the results of the survey institute's quick count.

Средства массовой информации с развитием интернета из традиционных трансформировались в интернет-СМИ, в которые входят и новостные страницы в социальных сетях «Вконтакте», «Инстаграм», «Телеграм». Чтение новостей является одной из основных целей использования интернета и социальных сетей, что приводит к популярности агрегаторов новостных сообщений. Социальные сети отличаются от традиционных СМИ своей интерактивностью и большей зависимостью от читателей, поскольку успешность страницы зависит от вовлеченности аудитории, особенно от количества комментариев. Администраторы страниц заинтересованы в публикации новостей, вызывающих реакцию и споры. События, освещаемые на новостных страницах, затем переходят в другие сообщества, где продолжается их обсуждение. По отклику пользователей интернета на различные темы можно определять общее настроение общества. В дагестанских социальных сетях вопрос семейно-брачных отношений поднимается часто, к тому же эта тема стимулируется публикацией новостных сообщений о соотношении браков и разводов в республике. Так как большей частью активных пользователей социальных сетей является молодежь, анализ их мнений по вопросу семейных отношений может помочь в понимании будущего семьи в регионе. По результатам контент-анализа комментариев под постами о браках и разводах можно говорить о том, что, помимо личных, основными причинами как разводов, так и снижения количества заключаемых браков являются финансовая нестабильность, а также изменение общества и нахождение его на стыке архаизации и модернизации. Количество заключаемых браков в Дагестане снижается, тогда как количество разводов остается приблизительно на одном уровне, хотя СМИ сосредотачивают внимание в своих публикациях на разводах, формируя определенную картину мира у читателей. With the development of the Internet, the media has transformed from its traditional forms of newspapers and television into online-media, which also includes news profiles on the social networks such as Vkontakte, Instagram, and Telegram. Reading news is one of the main purposes of using the internet and social media, which leads to the popularity of news aggregators. Social networks differ from traditional media in their interactivity and greater dependence on readers, since the success of a profile is based on the engagement of the audience namely, of chief relevance is the number of comments. Administrators of social media profiles would more likely publish news that generates reactions and controversy. Events covered on the news profiles are then transferred to other social media pages, where they continue to be discussed. The general mood of the society can be determined by the response of Internet users to various topics. The issue of family and marriage relations is often raised in Dagestan based social media profiles and pages. This topic is stimulated by the publication of news reports on the ratio of marriages and divorces in the republic. Since the majority of active users of social networks are young people, analyzing their views on the issue of marital relations can help to understand the future of the family in the region. Based on the results of the content analysis of the comments under the posts about marriages and divorces, we can say that, in addition to personal factors, the main reasons for high number of divorces and a decrease in the number of marriages are financial instability, as well as a change in society and its transition to modernization. The number of marriages in Dagestan is declining, while the number of divorces remains approximately at the same level, although the media focuses its attention on divorces, forming a certain picture of the world among readers.

<p>The high degree of interactivity of the Internet, combined with the almost ubiquitous presence of forums on online media publications, has offered everybody the possibility to express their opinions and beliefs on websites. This paper uses content analysis to examine the religion-based comments that were posted on 8 Romanian mainstream news websites in reply to articles regarding a fire that broke out during a rock concert in Bucharest, killing over 50 people and injuring more than 100. The analysis also included the answers to these comments. Among the findings, we have discovered that the highest percentage of religion-based comments made some type of reference to Satanism and that very few of them expressed compassion towards the victims. On the other hand, counter-speech strategies managed to halt hate speech in almost half of the cases where they were employed. However, personal attacks against religion-based commentators were the most commonly used form of counter-speech, contributing to an unfriendly climate on the forums.</p>

Theoretical aspects of scholarly publishing about the Internet in communication sciences in Spain have received little attention. The present text analyses scientific framework, categories, concepts and keywords used in research, collected from the most relevant specialized Spanish journals in the field, as well as research objectives that are pursued in connection to communication levels of study and types of data. A content analysis of a representative sample of 227 scientific articles was done in the five leading Spanish journals in communication in the period 1995–2015, in which the academic interesting on Internet as an object of study was consolidated. The results show a predominance of descriptive theoretical frameworks and a hegemony of journalism as an academic reference. Nevertheless, there is an increase complexity out of the mass media field. The research on the Internet in the communication field is presented as a reflexive opportunity to understand interdisciplinarity and the way this acquires epistemological consistence in the scientific discourse.
