Карты инженерно-геологического районирования являются основой для проведения работ по сейс- мическому микрорайонированию (СМР). Результаты инженерных изысканий позволяют формировать карты инженерно-геологического районирования. В последние годы, целенаправленные детальные изы- скания для целей СМР рутинных урбанизированных территорий изза отсутствия необходимого финанси- рования, как правило, не проводятся. Большей частью для решения проблемы используются результаты прошлых изысканий для различного рода проектируемых зданий и сооружений, разнесенные по времени. В работе предлагается использовать способ регистрации микросейсм, позволяющий достаточно надежно дифференцировать участки с различными грунтовыми условиями. При необходимости разрезы уточня- ются сейсморазведочными методами. В результате проведения исследований современными геофизическими методами подобным обра- зом были уточнены карты инженерно-геологического районирования гг. Владикавказ, Беслан, Ардон и Алагир. The maps of engineering-geological zonation are the basis for realization of seismic microzonation works (SMZ). The results of engineering investigations allow composing maps of engineering-geological zonation. As a rule, purposeful detail investigations for SMZ of routine urbanized territories are not carried out in recent years because of the absence of necessary financing. For the most part the results of the previous investigations for different kinds of designed buildings and constructions which are spread out in time are used for the problem solving. Microseisms recording technique which allows differentiating areas with different soil conditions quite reliably is offered for usage in the paper. Sections can be detailed with the help of seismic exploration methods if required. The maps of engineering-geological zonation of the cities Vladikavkaz, Beslan, Ardon and Alagir were detailed in a similar way as a result of investigations on the basis of modern geophysical methods.

In the process of engineering prospective design and constructing, it is necessary to avoid the adverse impact of geological phenomena, such as fault, karst and landslide. Therefore, it’s important to choose a favorable project address by scientific and effective detection with engineering geological conditions. The main exploration method for geological conditions is the geophysical exploration, including: high density electrical method, ground penetrating Radar, seismic exploration method and so on. The discrimination result with a single geological method changes much, and it is difficult to make an accurate analysis of the geological conditions. So we should composite a variety of exploration methods. In this paper, it expounds the fundamental, the working method, data explanations of the high density electrical method and ground penetrating Radar firstly. And then it takes exploration of candidate sites of an aluminum waste disposal plant for example, the geological conditions of candidate sites are analyzed under the two geophysical methods. The study results of engineering site option have a positive role in guiding the work.

Abstract An extensive use of geophysical methods necessitates the development of new methods and improvement of existing methods for seismic exploration to provide reliable data on the structure of the environment in difficult geological conditions. Therefore, it is especially relevant to solve the problems arising in marine petroleum geophysics, which require constant improvement of the methodology and technology of work, and the development and implementation of the advanced seismic equipment. Pneumatic sources that use compressed air as a working medium are among the most effective non-explosive sources for marine seismic exploration. Pneumatic sources exhibit high-energy characteristics, reliability and versatility. Compressor equipment that provide pneumatic sources with high-pressure compressed air is relatively easy to embed into the marine vessel’s power system. The above requires the development and improvement of theoretical methods for studying dynamic problems of a liquid half-space with buried sources of various types. A theoretical description of the formation of an elastic signal in water is given in a number of works. However, the authors of these works do not perform the analysis of gas transportation. The paper considers a number of characteristics of gas flow at a subsonic speed along the high-pressure hose from a vessel’s compressor unit to a pneumatic source. The airflow rate in the receiver-pneumatic source system is determined, and the friction force at a quasi-steady isothermal mode of gas flow is calculated. The paper presents recommendations for planning geophysical works.

На основе современных технологий разработана структурно-функциональная модель «Информационная система обеспечения градостроительной деятельности». Данная модель использована в качестве основы для создания моделирующей геоинформационной системы. При этом в виде отдельного структурного элемента в систему интегрирована информационная база данных о сейсмичности и сейсмических рисках, включающая в себя карты детального сейсмического районирования (ДСР) Республики Северная Осетия-Алания и карты сейсмического микрорайонирования территории населенных пунктов – административных центров Республики Северная Осетия-Алания. Рассмотрены методы оценки возможных социальных и экономических потерь от возможных землетрясений различной интенсивности и разработана методика оценки сейсмического риска. На их основе, предложен алгоритм «внедрения» (введения) методики оценки сейсмического риска в информационные системы обеспечения градостроительной деятельности. Использование разработанной методики оценки сейсмического риска территории позволяет непосредственно рассчитать рейтинг грунтов и сейсмический риск территории. На территории г. Владикавказа выделены участки с различными грунтовыми условиями. На основе имеющихся данных создан ГИС-проект «База данных геологической информации территории г. Владикавказа», включающий информацию о пробуренных на территории города скважинах и составе соответствующих грунтов. Данная база интегрирована во вновь разработанную систему, что позволяет использовать её в качестве одного из основных источников информации в задачах моделирования ожидаемых последствий опасных природно-техногенных процессов On the basis of modern technologies developed structural-functional model « Information system for urban planning». This model is used as a basis for creating a modeling geographic information system. At the same time, an information database on seismicity and seismic risks is integrated into the system as a separate structural element, includes maps of detailed seismic zoning (DSR) of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania and maps of seismic micro – zoning of the territory of settlements-administrative centers of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania. The methods of estimation of possible social and economic losses from possible earthquakes of different intensity are considered and the method of seismic risk assessment is developed. On their basis, the algorithm of "introduction" of a technique of an assessment of seismic risk in information systems of providing town-planning activity is offered. The use of the developed methodology for assessing the seismic risk of the territory allows you to directly calculate the soil rating and seismic risk of the territory. On the territory of Vladikavkaz allocated areas with different soil conditions. Based on available data created the GIS project "Database of geological information of the Vladikavkaz city territory ", which includes information about wells drilled on the city territory and the composition of the respective soils. This database is integrated into the newly developed system, which allows to use it as one of the main sources of information in the problems of modeling the expected consequences of dangerous natural and man-made processes.

In connection with the reform of regulatory framework for construction sector of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the development of seismic zoning maps poses an urgent problem. The article presents a set of seismic microzoning maps of Almaty, developed on a new methodological basis for Kazakhstan, and provides explanatory materials on the development, understanding and use. Calculation of background seismic hazard was carried out in accordance with the basic provisions of Eurocode 8. Seismic microzoning included the implementation of two main tasks - the assessment of background seismicity and taking into account influence of soil conditions. Based on the analysis results, a set of maps have been arranged. When taking into account the influence of engineering and geological conditions, Russian and Kazakh works were used. The main maps ready for use in regulatory documents are provided. Analysis of capacities of the sediments of same age in different blocks made it possible to understand the dynamics of tectonic regime of the city territory. In the process of neotectonic activation, almost all previously existing tectonic disturbances were improved. In the contemporary relief of the urban area, most faults are not expressed.

Материалы исследований, составляющие инженерно-геологическую основу карт сейсмического микрорайонирования, представлены в виде набора карт, выполненных в форме ГИС проекта, и содержат информацию, необходимую и достаточную для вы- деления однородных в инженерно-сейсмогеологическом отношении территориальных единиц The zoning of cities Vladikavkaz, Beslan, Ardon, Alagir and Digora is completed. The results of research that are engineering-geological base of seismic microzonation maps are given as a set of maps in GIS project form, and contain the information necessary and sufficient for allocation of territorial units homogenous in engineer and seismo-geological respect.

Rare species for the Republic are discussed: Fabronia ciliaris, F. pusilla, Lindbergia grandiretis, Tortula modica, Weissia wimmeriana, Zygodon rupestris.

Established in 1923, Turkey has been a republic without a dominant republican conception of liberty. A chance to install such a conception was missed in the early republican period and never recaptured. The republic was unable to get rid of vestiges of the authoritarian tradition of the past. Centuries-old authoritarian tradition persisted well into the recent and the contemporary periods. Presenting ample evidence, the article underlines the weight of history and the legacy of authoritarian mentality that promoted the use of authority, not liberty, in political problem-solving. The initial failure to abandon an authoritarian problem-solving approach proved fateful for the chances of the deepening of democracy in Turkey.
