Many students have low IPA abilities. Previous research stated that there are still many students who get science learning scores below the average. This study analyzes the relationship between students' scientific attitude and mastery of science concepts in fourth-grade elementary school. This type of research is quantitative research with the correlational method. The research design used is to formulate problems and determine research objectives. The subjects in this study were all students totaling 58 respondents who were taken using the cluster random sampling technique. The method used in this study discusses two variables, the independent variable is students' scientific attitude, and the dependent variable is the mastery of science concepts for grade IV elementary school. The data collection instrument in this study used measurement techniques in 15 formative questions on the dependent variable and 30 questionnaire sheets on the independent variable. Data were analyzed by parametric statistics or product-moment correlation. The results showed differences in the results of students' scientific attitude data with mastery of science concepts. The data showed that tcount was 2,431 > ttable was 1,672 at the significance level = 0.05 with the number of respondents 58 students. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that there is a positive relationship between students' scientific attitudes and mastery of science concepts. Mastery of science concepts can improve students' scientific attitudes.

This study aims to investigate the effect of portfolio assessment in teaching physics and scientific attitude. The research was conducted on students of high school in Singaraja. Research was an quasi- experimental study by using “The Posttest-Only Control Group Design”. The research involved 152 high school students of class X of science as samples, taken with multistage random sampling technique. Portfolio assessment was integrated with physics learning. The implementation of the portfolio assessment included four key elements such as the students' work folders, clear assessment criteria, and self-assessment, and conference between teacher and students. The data needed in this research was the students' scientific attitude which included the aspect of curiosity, respect for evidence, the willingness to change ideas, and critical reflection. Data needed in this research included scientific attitudes students. A Likert scale instrument was used to measure the scientific attitude students. Data were analyzed using analysis of variance with SPSS 20.0 at significance level α = 0.05. The results showed there are differences in the scientific attitude students who take physics learning with assessment portfolios and students who take physics learning with assessment of conventional. The findings of this study indicate that portfolio assessment in learning physics significantly affect the scientific attitude students.

This research is a quantitative research. The research method used was quasi-experimental research using the matching only pretest-posttest control group design. The population in this study was the Elementary School Cluster 17 Bengkulu City. The sampling technique uses cluster random sampling. The sample in this study were students of class IV B Elementary School 04 Bengkulu City as an experimental class and students of class IV C Elementary School 11 Bengkulu as a control class. The research instrument used in the form of tests in the form of essay questions provided through pretest and posttest. The instrument used in the study was a test sheet in the form of a breakdown problem for the context of mathematical literacy. Based on the t-test calculation of students' posttest results, there is a tcount of 4.24> ttable of 2.01, so it can be concluded that there is an influence of using ethnomatemics-based Realistic Mathematic Education models on the ability of mathematical literacy in the context components of class IV students in Cluster 17 Bengkulu City

Background: Various studies show that self-assessment containing scientific processes applied in physics learning will affect the scientific attitude and the physics learning outcomes of the students. It is also found that Initial knowledge also contributes to determining the level of scientific attitudes and the physics learning outcomes of physics. However, initial knowledge needs to be controlled so that the pure effect of self-assessment in learning physics on scientific attitudes and learning outcomes of physics is known. Aim: This study examines the effect of the implementation of self-assessment with science processes on scientific attitudes and physics learning outcomes by controlling initial knowledge. Methods: This research was conducted with a quasi-experimental approach to 143 1st grade high school students majoring in science in Singaraja City using a single factor independent group design with the use of covariate. The sample of the research was chosen by using a multistage random sampling technique. The instruments used were the scientific attitude questionnaire, the initial knowledge test, and the physics learning outcome test. The data were processed using multivariate covariance analysis. Results and Discussion: The results showed that there were differences in scientific attitudes and learning outcomes of students who took physics learning with self-assessment containing the science process and students who took physics learning with the conventional assessment after controlling their initial knowledge, either independently or simultaneously. The prior knowledge of the students contributed to scientific attitudes by 22.8%, and to physics learning outcomes by 19.4%. Conclusions: it can be concluded that self-assessment containing scientific processes in physics learning affected scientific attitudes and learning outcomes by controlling initial knowledge.

Character development in students is very important to be a better individual and understand the values that apply. Character development is done by instilling basic ethical values such as one of which is cooperation. The purpose of this research is to find out and analyze the increase in the value of cooperation of elementary school students in the city of Singkawang through the application of the traditional Lompat Tali game, as a form of preserving the nation's culture and building the nation's cultural character. The method used in this research is quantitative research. The study population was all elementary school students in Singkawang. Samples were selected using a purposive sampling technique as many as 50 groups. The type of data used in this survey research is quantitative data obtained from interviews, observations, and attitude scales. Analysis of the data in this study used the N-gain test to see an increase in student cooperation attitude. The results of the study based on the N-gain calculation show that the increase in the cooperative attitude of elementary school students is 0.38, which means that students of the traditional game of Lompat Tali can increase the cooperative attitude of elementary school students.

This type of research is quantitative research. The research method used was quasi experimental with the type of matching the pretest-posttest control group design. The population in this study was elementary school XIX Bengkulu City. The sampling technique uses cluster random sampling. The sample in this study is the VA class SDN 69 Bengkulu City totaling 30 students as the experimental class and the VB class SDN 72 Bengkulu City totaling 25 students as the control class. The research instrument used in this study was in the form of mind map quality assessment sheets and factual and conceptual knowledge assessment test sheets in the form of multiple choice given at the pre-test and post-test. The data analysis technique in this research is quantitative analysis using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics, the t-test. The research data obtained tcount> ttable, namely factual knowledge 2.31> 2.01 and conceptual knowledge 3.30> 2.01. Thus it can be concluded that there is an influence of the use of the 5E Learning cycle model with a mind map to the factual and conceptual knowledge of students in the learning of science class V in elementary school.

Hand washing has proven to be the most important step in avoiding disease and preventing the spread of germs to others. School-age children are a critical age group because at that age a child is vulnerable to health problems. As time goes by, comic media can also be used in health education. This study aims to determine differences in knowledge, attitudes, and actions of elementary school students towards CTPS before and after education with comic media. This research is a quantitative research that uses a quasi experimental design with the design of the Nonequivalent Control Group. The population in this study were the fourth and fifth grade students in 216 Tetebassi Elementary School, Talluborongna 110 Elementary School, 117 Rorre Elementary School, 107 Rante Lemo Elementary School, North Makale District, 541 students with 134 sample. Purposive sampling technique for determining samples. Measuring tool for this research is questionnaire. The results of this study found that there were differences in CTPS before and after intervention in the intervention group and the control group with knowledge (p=0.004), attitudes (p=0.043) and actions (p=0.001). In this study there are differences in knowledge of CTPS before and after intervention in the intervention group and the control group in students in Makale Utara Subdistrict, Tana Toraja District. For the next researcher, to conduct an educational media trial before being used on the target of school children.
