INCREASING THE BEARING LIFE OF AGRICULTURAL MACHINES BY UPGRADING SEALS

The article presents the main trends related to increasing the life of bearings of agricultural machines. The paper presents classification of seal types with analysis of their best application under different operating conditions and in different environments. The results of comparative bench tests in the dust chamber of single and three-ring seals are given.

The article is devoted to the analysis of design features and operating conditions of V-belt trans-missions of agricultural machinery. When designing these gears, it is recommended to give prefer-ence to gears made according to an open circuit or with a tension roller located outside the belt con-tour, to avoid cross and semi-cross gears, as well as multi-pulley gears with crossing shaft axles. To make the wider use of more progressive types of belts. It was shown that the features of V-belt transmissions of agricultural machinery require clarification of the methods for calculating trans-missions with progressive types of V-belts and automatic belt tensioning methods. It was noted that special attention should be paid to transmissions with multi-profile belts, which calculation has not been sufficiently reflected in domestic regulatory documents. The advantages of such belts are es-pecially noticeable under variable and shock loading. Based on the analysis, the recommendations for clarifying the calculation of belt drives with multi-profile belts were given. Analytical dependencies are proposed for determining the value of the nominal power transmitted by one belt (stream) of a multi-profile belt, allowing automation of the calculation of V-belt transmissions of agricultural machinery. For gears with a tension or guide roller that add an extra (sometimes reverse) bend of the belt, it is proposed to determine the coeffi-cient taking into account different degrees of bending on the pulleys according to a graph built tak-ing into account the linear hypothesis of summation of damages. It is recommended to calculate gears with spring-loaded tensioning rollers and design tensioning devices for such transmissions using a special method that takes into account the belt tensioning method. At the same time, the required value of the pre-tension of the belt can be significantly re-duced, which will have a positive effect on its resource, without losing the traction capacity of the transmission itself. Expressions are given for finding the value of the pre-tension of belts, both for gears with tension due to the elasticity of the belt, and for gears with spring-loaded tension rollers. Conclusions and directions for further research are formulated.

Reliability of power supply of consumers is an important task in the process of transmission and distribution of electric energy. The paper proposes a method for assessing the consequences of power failures of monoconsumers of electric energy on the example of an oil company and an adjacent power grid company. The uniqueness of the developed technique lies in the possibility of reliable calculation of reliability of power supply of complex branched electric networks without taking into account the specific scheme of power supply. The accuracy of calculations is increased due to the use of data directly studied power system, taking into account the specifics and operating conditions of specific equipment, instead of the average information. Classification of failures on the main reasons in electric networks of the oilproducing enterprise of the far North that allowed to develop actions for increase of level of reliability of power supply is made.

In the modern world, it is already difficult to imagine the creation of a significant engineering structure without modeling its external and internal appearance, the operation modeling of the main mechanisms, operating conditions and many other design features and emerging phenomena at the design stage. The paper interprets modeling and simulation as one of the computational methods that allow us to obtain quantitative results when studying ice impact on marine structures, for e.g. icebreakers and transport vessels, platform substructures, hydro-technical installations. In connection with the above, from the existing classification of modeling methods, the authors consider the physical and mathematical ones in the work. They present comparative advantages of both methods in their application in the problems of marine ice engineering, as well as the prospects for their development for solving a wide range of scientific problems aimed at the development of Arctic shipbuilding.

Introduction. Innovative, new materials are increasingly used in transport construction, among which composite materials are becoming widespread.Small bridges and elements of large bridges, such as roadway slabs, pavements, railings, composite reinforcement, reinforcement elements, are made of composite materials.Recently, the use of polymer composite materials for the manufacture of lightly loaded structural elements of transport structures, such as lighting poles, drainage trays, railings.Much attention should be paid to the fiberglass composite railing, which has a number of advantages over traditional metal fencing. Unfortunately, at present there are no clearly defined in Ukraine regulations on fiberglass composite fencing, so this topic is relevant and necessary for the transport industry.Problem Statement. From the literature analysis it is established that the railings of highways and sidewalks are in difficult operating conditions, are constantly exposed to aggressive environments - water, chemicals, salts.Goal. Increasing the durability of the railing by using new materials.Results. The analysis of production of a fiberglass profile is carried out. On the basis of the conducted researches the general requirements to a protection of fiberglass composite washing machine are established. On the basis of the current normative documents the classification of a protection on a place of installation, type of filling of a skeleton, a method of fastening of risers is developed. The paper presents the main parameters and dimensions of the fence. Material requirements are set. Methods of control of a protection with establishment of a technique of test of a protection on resistance to action of horizontal and vertical loadings are developed. Recommendations on installation and installation of a protection of fiberglass composite washing machine are offered.Conclusions. Abstract In this paper, a comprehensive analytical model for the fatigue life prediction of ball bearing in various operating conditions is presented. Not only the internal clearance variations induced by the centrifugal expansion and assembly interference, but also ball inertia forces and ball-raceway separations are fully considered in theoretical modeling to achieve accurate life prediction of ball bearing. The model has been validated by comparison with the static results in previous literature. Based on this, the results of the load distribution and fatigue life versus the internal clearance of ball bearing under various operating conditions are studied. The results show that there is always an optimal clearance to maximize bearing fatigue life for the radial load or the combined load conditions, and the size of the optimal clearance for bearing life is determined by both the load conditions and rotating speeds to ensure the uniformity of the internal load distribution of the ball bearing. Therefore, the above theoretical and conclusions can be used in structural design optimization and assembly parameters selection of ball bearing to maximize the life characteristic.

Existing examples of prototypes of ground-based robotic platforms used as a landing site for unmanned aerial vehicles are considered. In some cases, they are equipped with a maintenance mechanism for the power supply module. The main requirements for robotic multi-copter battery maintenance systems depending on operating conditions, required processing speed, operator experience and other parameters are analyzed. The key issues remain questions of the autonomous landing of the unmanned aerial vehicles on the platform and approach to servicing battery. The existing prototypes of service robotic platforms are differed in the complexity of internal mechanisms, speed of service, algorithms of joint work of the platform and unmanned aerial vehicles during the landing and maintenance of the battery. The classification of robotic systems for servicing the power supply of multi-copter batteries criteria is presented using the following: the type of basing, the method of navigation during landing, the shape of the landing pad, the method of restoring the power supply module. The proposed algorithmic model of the operation of battery power maintenance system of the multi-copter on ground-based robotic platform during solving the target agrarian problem is described. Wireless methods of battery recovery are most promising, so further development and prototyping of a wireless charging station for multi-copter batteries will be developed.

This contribution focuses on problems of monitoring the runout of tractor diesel motor parts used in agricultural operation. Crankshafts from the agricultural tractors of type Zetor 6911 are used as samples for measuring the runout and circularity. The first sample of the crankshaft is loaded in the tractor used in livestock production, and the second one is used in vegetable production. Measured values of the runout and circularity of both samples are evaluated by tables and polar diagrams. Results of the experiment show the amount of runout and the following wear of agricultural machine parts in different operating conditions of agricultural production.
