Sylva Untan Arboretum has high biodiversity. However, these values and benefits are not yet known by many parties, hence the existence of the Sylva Untan Arboretum could be changed. The purpose of this study was to determine the economic value of the Sylva Untan Arboretum. The study was conducted using a survey method. Primary data was collected through observation and interviews, while secondary data was collected from various literature. The economic value was calculated using three methods, namely the market price method, substitution cost method, and contingency method. The data were analyzed using an analysis of total economic value. The results showed that the economic value of Sylva Untan Arboretum was IDR 15.346.872.680 per year. Economic value in the form of service benefits (intangible) was higher than the tangible value. The measurement of the economic value of Sylva Untan Arboretum can be done using other approaches and methods that are more holistic as a comparison of existing economic values especially for several values, such as biomass value, water absorption, and land rent. The measurement of the economic value of the Sylva Untan Arboretum needs to be developed to make a positive contribution to the people living around it, as well as decision making in land use.Keywords: arboretum, benefit, ecosystem, economic valuation

The engulfing COVID-19 pandemic in various regions affected various sectors, one of which was the Indonesian tourism sector. The policy of social restrictions and travel restrictions led to a decrease in tourists at almost all tourist attractions. The purpose of this study is to identify the type of economic value generated by Gemah Beach tourism objects during the Covid-19 pandemic and evaluate the total economic value generated by Gemah Beach tourism objects during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research method uses a survey method by taking a sample of a number of tourists, business people, managers of Gemah Beach tourism objects. The type of data collected consists of primary data and secondary data. The economic valuation method is used to calculate the total economic value of the Gemah Beach tourism object obtained from direct use value, indirect use value, preferred use value, existence value, and bequest value. Data analysis used descriptive quantitative. The results of the study still found various types of economic activities carried out by business actors at the Gemah Beach tourism object during the COVID-19 pandemic, despite the government’s social and economic restrictions. Meanwhile, based on the results of the economic valuation of the Gemah Beach tourism object during the COVID-19 pandemic, a total economic value of IDR 28,131,949,529 was obtained. The total economic value, according to tourism managers, is lower than before the COVID-19 pandemic due to activity restrictions and a decrease in the number of visitors. Optimizing the economic and natural potential of the Gemah Beach tourist attraction with the fulfillment of facilities and infrastructure in accordance with the COVID-19 health protocol can be used as a strategy in dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic so that the tourism industry can continue to grow.

This study aims to determine the economic value, which is a direct and indirect benefit (tangible and intangible) of Parak in the research area. This research used a case study method, and the sampling was carried out in a purposive manner consisting of 50 sample farmers. The data used in this study are primary data and secondary data. Preliminary data were obtained by direct interviews with respondents based on the questionnaire provided, while secondary data were taken from agencies related to this research. The processing of data obtained in the field shows that Parak plays an important role in supporting the economy of farmers in Nagari Paninggahan either directly or indirectly. The direct use value obtained from the plant is IDR. 46,753,650 (66,316 per cent), from firewood of IDR. 23,070,000 (32,722 percent) and from livestock IDR. 678,550 (0.963 per cent) so that the total direct use income is IDR. 70,502,200 per year of all commodities cultivated by the sample farmers. Meanwhile, for indirect use, such as household/domestic water use, IDR. 13,312,320/year and agricultural irrigation water IDR. 54,052,111/year. The total indirect usage is IDR. 67,364,431,-. Per year. Agroforestry patterns can cover the soil layer well and have an effective influence on soil erosion control to increase the supply of water in the soil. Respondents have also carried out other conservation activities by constructing bench terraces, terracing systems, and other buildings to suppress sedimentation and erosion.

Muara Angke merupakan satu – satunya kawasan yang masih memiliki ekosistem mangrove di daerah pesisir Jakarta. Luas Muara Angke kurang lebih 964,98 ha dibagi menjadi tiga zona. Dua diantaranya berkontribusi pada sektor Perikanan dan Ekowisata, yaitu Pangkalan Pendaratan Ikan (PPI) dan Taman Wisata Alam Angke Kapuk (TWAAK). Kurangnya pemahaman umum tentang manfaat ekonomi ekosistem mangrove  menyebabkan masyarakat mengeksploitasi secara berlebihan sehingga terjadi perubahan penggunaan lahan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui nilai ekonomi yang dihasilkan ekosistem mangrove berdasarkan dua aspek yaitu Perikanan Tangkap dan Ekowisata. Data Perikanan Tangkap menggunakan data sekunder dari Pengelola PPI Muara Angke tahun 2016 – 2017. Data sosial ekonomi diperoleh menggunakan  wawancara dengan bantuan kuesioner. Data biaya perjalanan rata – rata diperoleh dengan wawancara pengunjung TWAAK. Analisis Valuasi Ekonomi Perikanan Tangkap menggunakan Market Price Method. Analisis Valuasi Ekonomi Ekowisata Mangrove menggunakan Travel Cost Method. Metode penentuan 100 responden nelayan tangkap menggunakan Random Sampling sedangkan penentuan 100 responden pengunjung TWAAK menggunakan Accidental Sampling. Hasil penelitian didapatkan nilai ekonomi pada aspek perikanan tahun 2016 Rp. 13.148.945.100, tahun 2017 Rp.21.087.388.300 dan tahun 2018 Rp. 370.313.869.500. Hasil penelitian didapatkan nilai ekonomi ekowisata tahun 2018 Rp.40.28.400.000 Muara Angke is the only area that still has mangrove ecosystems in the coastal areas of Jakarta. Muara Angke area is approximately 964.98 ha divided into three zones. Two of them contribute to the Fisheries and Ecotourism sector, namely Fish Landing Base (PPI) and Angke Kapuk Nature Park (TWAAK). Lack of general understanding of the economic benefits of mangrove ecosystems causes people to over-exploit so that land use changes occur. The purpose of this study was to determine the economic value generated by mangrove ecosystems based on two aspects, namely Capture Fisheries and Ecotourism. Capture Fisheries Data uses secondary data from Muara Angke PPI Manager in 2016 - 2017. Socio-economic data were obtained using interview with Muara Angke fishermen with questionnaire assistance. Average travel cost data is obtained by interviewing TWAAK visitors. Capture Fisheries Economic Valuation Analysis using Market Price Method. Economic Valuation Analysis of Ecotourism Mangroves use the Travel Cost Method. The method of determining 100 respondents of capture fishermen uses Random Sampling while the determination of 100 respondents of TWAAK visitors uses Accidental Sampling. The results of the study obtained economic value in aspects of fisheries in 2016 Rp. 13,148,945,100, in 2017 Rp.21,087,388,300 and in 2018 Rp. 370,313,869,500. The results of the study obtained the economic value of ecotourism in 2018 Rp. 40.28.400.000

In 2017, the death toll from floods sweeping in northern areas of Bangladesh has climbed above 150. In Dinajpur, Rangpur, Lalmonirhat, Kurigram and Thakurgaon more than 57.18 lakh people have been affected by flood and 6.11 lakh hectares of land damaged by floods in 32 districts Flood is an important natural disaster that deeply destroys the infrastructure and socio-economic conditions of the area. After the flood, the flood victims are feeling very unlucky. Their crops are totally destroyed. They are uncertain about their future. They do not know what would be happened in tomorrow. This study is conducted to find out the real situations of the flood victims of the said areas. The primary objective of this study is to provide a review of the socio-economic conditions of flood-affected people of northern districts in Bangladesh. To develop the paper, primary as well as secondary data is used. The quantitative, as well as qualitative analysis, is conducted for the study. Primary data is collected through a set of well-structured questionnaires. To collect the primary data, a personal survey method is used. Computerized modern technology is applied in the coding, tabulating, and processing of data. The victims are asked for their perceptions of life. It reveals that no victim is extremely pleased with their life before and after the flood, and 35% of victims were pleased before the flood, but after the flood, that rate is reduced to 8%. On the other hand, 5% of victims were extremely displeased, but after the flood that is increased to 17%. Floods have huge consequences on people, economics, and the environment. Flooding of regions used for socioeconomic activities produces a variety of negative effects. The government has various programs for food, housing, medical, and education but that is not enough. It is very little than the affected people. Providing adequate support for flood-affected people and preventing floodwaters can save the people of the river basin. It is also revealed that, by solving some problems locally, some nationally, and some internationally, it is possible to fill the lives of flood-affected people with laughter and joy.

The Mapur waters contain various kinds of fish caught in one of them is Yellow and blueback fusilier. Yellow and blueback fusilier is one of the catches of high economic vulued. High economic value can certainly boost the Yellow and blueback fusilier and can affect the population. The research was conducted from August 2018 to July 2019 at this fish landing on Kelong Village. The tools used are stationery, cameras and materials used are fish as a research object. The aims of this research was to determine the Maximume Sustainable Yield (MSY), rate and effort of utilization, and the amount allowed to catch (JTB) of Yellow and blueback fusilier in Mapur waters landing this on Kelong Village. This research used survey method with primary data retrieval using live fishermen interviews and secondary data consists of document or literature that supports the research. The result of this research is the potential value of MSY is 787,067 kg/unit whit the optimum effort (f opt) 1.280 unit/ month not over the limit in other words yet overfishing. The utilization rate of Yellow and blueback fusilier 42% medium level overall, and so if increased efforts are still possible to optimize the haul, but still controlled. And amount allowed to catch value Yellow and blueback fusilier is 629.65 kg/unit, that Yellow and blueback fusilier can still be improved for optimal results, but not beyond the determined limits.

Seagrass ecosystems in addition to providing economic benefits also have ecological functions, so it is highly recommended to conserve these ecosystems in order to preserve spawning areas, nurseries and habitats for fish and other marine biota. This study aims to identify the condition of seagrass ecosystems in Samuh Beach, Nusa Dua, estimating the economic value of the seagrass ecosystems in Samuh Beach, Nusa Dua and formulating for sustainable management of seagrass ecosystems in Samuh Beach, Nusa Dua. The study was conducted in January-March 2020 at Samuh Beach, Nusa Dua, Bali. Data collected includes secondary data and primary data. Secondary data were collected from related institutions, while primary data were collected through purposive sampling and questionnaires. The analysis used was description analysis, calculation of the economic value of marine resources through a Total Economic Value (TEV) and DPSIR analysis. This study found that the actual condition of the seagrass ecosystem resources in Samuh Beach is currently in the category of less rich/less healthy due to natural factors (substrate conditions) and human activity (anthropogenic). The economic value of seagrass ecosystems at Samuh Beach Nusa Dua, Bali showed the total economic value reached IDR. 327,843,325 per year and seagrass ecosystem management strategies that can be applied in the coastal area of ??Samuh Beach are the development of marine ecotourism, stock enrichment, and rehabilitation of seagrass beds. This study aims to identify the types of utilization found in Setu Pedongkelan and estimate the economic value of Setu Pedongkelan through fisheries utilization. The use of fisheries in Setu Pedongkelan is capture fisheries. The data used in this research are primary data in the form of survey results, interviews and online questionnaires as well as secondary data obtained from the documentation archive. The method used in this research is the market price method. The results of the study found that the types of utilization found in Setu Pedongkelan include direct use such as fisheries, irrigation and recreation. In addition, there are also indirect uses such as places for biota to find food, flood control, spawning, conservation and places or research facilities. This research also gives the result that the economic value of Setu Pedongkelan from fisheries utilization is IDR 2,472,960,000.

ABSTRACT INCOME EFFECT ON CONSUMPTION OF PORK IN WANEA DISTRCT RANOTANA WERU VILLAGE This study aims to determine the effect of family income to the consumption of pork and substitutes, in Wanea district, Ranotana Weru village. The survey method used to obtain secondary data and primary data. Samples were obtained by purposive sampling, and to get answers from the purpose of this study, the formula of multiple regression analysis is used: C = b0 + b1 x1 + b2 x2 + b3 x3, and obtained the analysis of the influence of family income on the consumption of pork in Ranotana Weru village as the following: C = 59.44 + 1.38 (x1) + 0,018 (x2) + 4.97 (x3) R2 = 0.95. From the results of the equation, the value of the intercept of 59.44 indicates that no change in the price of pork, the price of substitutes and without changes in income, then the people in Ranotana Weru village keep eating pork amounted to 59.44 grams (per person?). See the regression coefficient value of the price of pork of 1.38, meaning in any increase in the price of pork Rp 1.000, the consumption of pork decreased by 1.38 grams (per person?),  Seethe price regression coefficient value of substitutes0.018, means any increase in the price of substitutes Rp 1.000, the substitution of consumption goods rose by 0,018 grams. See the earnings darai regression coefficient 4.97, meaning any increase in revenue to Rp 1.000, the consumption of pork will rise by 4.97 grams and R2 value of 0.95 indicates that variations in rise and fall of the consumption of pork and substitutes at 95 % influenced by factors family income and sisnya 5% influenced by other factors not included in the model equations. Family income significantly affect the consumption of pork and substitutes in the village ranotana Weru. This is evidenced by the results of the t test of 0.786 is smaller than Ttabel 2,000.   Keywords: Income, consumption of pork, substitutes

Yellowtail scad fish was an economic value fish that many fishermen in Kelong Village catch. One of fishing ground in Bintan was Merapas Waters. Fishing activities without considering fish stocks in nature will caused overfishing. The objective of this research was to determine the Maximum Sustainable Yield (MSY), rate and effort of utilization, and Total Allowed Catch (TAC) of Yellowtail Scad fish in Merapas waters landed on Kelong Village. The fishing gear that Fishermen in Kelong Village used to catch Yellowtail Scad fish was hand line. This research used survey method. Primary data from this research were catch and effort of Yellowtail Scad Fish, while secondary data obtained from fishermen interviews and related literature. Data analysis of this research used Schaefer method. The result of this research was the potential value of MSY is 2,501.37 kg/month with the optimum effort (f opt) 178 trip. The utilization rate of Yellowtail Scad fish was 38.48% and effort rate of Yellowtail Scad fish was 22.16%. Total allowed catch value of Yellowtail Scad fish was 2,001.1 kg. Overall, the catch of Yellowtail Scad Fish hasn’t reach overfishing, so the fishing effort can be more optimized.

Shrimp is a type of crustacean and is included in the marine fishery commoditywhich has important economic value and is currently hunted by fishermen and iscommonly found in coastal waters. The purpose of this study was to determine the ShrimpProduction and Seasonal Catching Pattern in the Waters of Pangkep Regency. Itsusefulness is as a foundation material in the use of shrimp resources in the waters ofPangkep Regency. Data collected consists of primary data and secondary data. Primarydata is obtained by direct observation in the field through a field survey method (visualrecall) to portray the conditions of crab resources. While secondary data was collectedfrom the relevant agencies according to the attributes that will be reviewed and recordeddata from collecting fishermen in the coastal areas and small islands of PangkepRegency. Shrimp production from trammel net and mini trawl catches in the waters of theSigeri District of Pangkep Regency in 2015 consisted of 706 tons of white shrimp anddogol shrimp 4,481 tons, while in 2016 706 tons of white shrimp and dogol shrimp 4,481tons. Analysis of the percentage of shrimp fishing season index in the waters of PangkepRegency, occurred in January, February, March and April. The highest percentage offishing season index occurs in January each year.
