The article describes the factors influencing the formation of braking parameters for two-wheeled vehicles, in particular, bicycles, moving on dry asphalt and ground. There were carried out braking tests to determine the deceleration using the decelerometer of LWS-2MC type on dry asphalt and ground. Depending on the braking system type, the method of braking, the mass of the two-wheeled vehicle and the weight of the cyclist, as well as the suspension design, there were built graphs, and regression equations were obtained. A quantitative assessment of the factors influencing the formation of a steady-state deceleration of a two-wheeled vehicle during emergency braking is given.

Anti-Lock Braking Systems (ABS) have been developed and integrated into vehicles since it is invented more than thirty years ago. However, most of nowadays ABS are designed for multi-wheeled passenger cars, commercial cars and trucks. Due to the technical complexity and additional cost, ABS is not as common on two-wheeled vehicles, such as motorcycle, electric scooter, electric bike, etc. Study shows that injuries and deaths in relation to two-wheeled vehicles with ABS are significantly decreased. This paper is to provide a brief review of the state-of-the-art on the ABS configuration of two-wheeled vehicles.

Modern vehicle dynamics in its broadest sense encompasses all forms of vehicles. It aims to improve the riding comfort and the maneuverability for high-quality automobiles. This paper develops a sensor-based fuzzy controller (SFC) with a composite anti-lock braking system and tracking control system (ABS/TCS) to navigate escaping motions of wheeled vehicles under the assumption of Coulombs viscous friction and lumped-mass/rigid-body motions. The so-called escaping dynamics of wheeled vehicles occurs when the vehicle escapes from the constrained space during braking or cornering. Traditionally, such slippage phenomenon is usually ignored because of its high frequency and strong nonlinear features. The proposed SFC is designed to shorten braking distance under emergent circumstances and minimize cornering radius to improve maneuverability for wheeled vehicles. Finally, detailed simulations of wheeled vehicles with a composite ABS/TCS under the assumption of Coulombs viscous friction are used to justify the SFC algorithm.

The classic work of Whitcomb and Milliken on the steady-state cornering of automobiles is generalized to include a simplified two-wheeled vehicle. The relationship which results, similar to that of Whitcomb and Milliken, gives the radius of the path of the vehicle in terms of vehicle parameters, vehicle speed, and steering head angle.

The aim of this study was to study the movement kinematics of a two-wheeled vehicle (TWV) and the factors influencing the severity degree of injuries sustained by a cyclist in a collision with a car by modeling using the MADYMO software (MAthematic DYnamic MOdels). The analysis of the influence of the vehicle speed on the severity degree of injury at a certain moment of collision is carried out. It has been determined that an increase in vehicle speed has a direct effect on an increase in the cyclist's kickback distance. A quantitative assessment of the factors influencing the severity degree of injuries in road traffic accidents is given. Graphs were built and regression equations were obtained depending on the speed of the car and the time of the collision.

This study applied SERVQUAL scale of Parasuraman et al to measure factors affecting customer satisfaction on service quality at Vietnam Technological and Commercial Joint Stock Bank - An Giang Branch (Techcombank An Giang). The study was conducted to survey 207 customers who have been using the service at Techcombank An Giang. The survey results were analyzed by the Cronbach's Alpha reliability test method, then used Exploratory factor analysis (EFA) to verify and evaluate the scale of service quality. The results of the regression analysis show that customer's satisfaction about service quality at Techcombank An Giang includes four factors: The factor with the highest level is the Empathy with Beta = 0.253, the second of factor is the Responsibility with Beta = 0.248, ranked third in the influence level is the Tangible with Beta = 0.235, and the lowest impact level is the Reliability with Beta = 0.144. The research also uses statistical methods to describe and test the differences of demographic factors with customer's satisfactionon service quality. The analysis results show that there is no difference between customer's satisfaction on service quality and factors such as gender, age, income, number of transaction banks, regular transaction banks, and time to use the service at Techcombank An Giang. Through the research results, the author would like to propose some ideas to improve the quality of services, thereby attracting new customers and importantly, keeping traditional customers because the development orientation of Techcombank is to take care of old customers to cross sell other products of the bank. The Stud results offer a basis for the branch to identify the factors influencing customer satisfaction on their service quality, thereby having an appropriate strategy to improve customer satisfaction.

Abstract The results from recent studies of some factors affecting tire braking and cornering performance are presented together with a discussion of the possible application of these results to the design of aircraft braking systems. The first part of the paper is concerned with steady-state braking, that is, results from tests conducted at a constant slip ratio or steering angle or both. The second part deals with cyclic braking tests, both single cycle, where brakes are applied at a constant rate until wheel lockup is achieved, and rapid cycling of the brakes under control of a currently operational antiskid system.

Subject. The article investigates and quantifies factors of insurance markets functioning in Russian regions, and reveals possibilities to manage them. Objectives. The purpose of the study is to substantiate regional factors that determine the specifics of regional insurance market development; to quantify them to increase the efficiency of regional insurance. Methods. The study draws on statistical methods, functional analysis, algorithm development, correlation and regression analysis. Results. I calculated coefficients of pair and multiple correlation with the indicators of insurance markets in the context of the subjects of the Russian Federation, and composed regression equations. Based on the analysis, I determined the algorithm for inverse effect of the insurance market on the economic, social, fiscal and environmental performance of the region, offered appropriate measures aimed at developing the economic potential of the region and its social sphere. Conclusions. The paper considers the case of the Republic of Khakassia, one of depressed subjects in the Siberian Federal District. The developed models can be used for other regions of Russia, given the geographical and economic features of development. The findings may help generate regional strategies for socio-economic development at the country level. The scientific contribution and the novelty of the work consist of systematizing and quantifying the factors affecting the insurance mechanisms of regional markets, and assessing the inverse effect of insurance mechanisms on integrated development of the region.

Road safety depends on several factors associated with the vehicle, to the infrastructure, as well as to the environment and experience of vehicle drivers. Concerning the vehicle factors influencing the safety level of an infrastructure, it has been shown that the dynamic interaction between the carried liquid cargo and the vehicle influences the operational safety limits of the vehicle. A combination of vehicle and infrastructure factors converge when a vehicle carrying liquid cargo at a partial fill level performs a braking maneuver along a curved road segment. Such a maneuver involves both longitudinal and lateral load transfers that potentially affect both the braking efficiency and the lateral stability of the vehicle. In this paper, a series of models are set together to simulate the effects of a sloshing cargo on the braking efficiency and load transfer rate of a partially filled road tanker. The model assumes the superposition of the roll and pitch independent responses, while the vehicle is equipped with Anti-lock braking System brakes (ABS) in the four wheels. Results suggest that cargo sloshing can affect the performance of the vehicle on the order of 2% to 9%, as a function of the performance measure considered. A dedicated ABS system could be considered to cope with such diminished performance.
