The usefulness of management accounting system (MAS) would be enjoyed if SME owners take the initiative to use MAS. This research suggests that the perived of easy, perceived of usefulness, and user attitudes will affect owners/management’s behavior intention to use a computerized-based MAS. If the behavior intention to use is high, then the intrinsic motivation of users is expected increase also. Increasing intrinsic motivation of SME owners are expected to improve their performance. The sample was manufacturing SMEs in Surabaya and surrounding areas. The result of regression analysis conclude about MAS that: (a) Intrinsic motivation shows significantly positive effect on the SMEs performance, both managerial or financial performance, (b) behavior intention to use MAS do not significantly influence the motivation, (c) the usefulness and ease of use do not significantly influence the behavior intention to use MAS, and (d) users’ attitude significantly influence the behavior intention to use MAS. Further analysis of variance testing found evidence of: (1) there is a difference in perception between the groups using the manual MAS and the group using computerized-based MAS. This finding affirms the benefits of computerized-based MAS through higher means on all of variables; and (2) if the users perceive that the use of computerized-based MAS is much easier, then the performance will be significantly different.

The rapid development of technology in Indonesia today resulted in very tight competition in the industrial world, where industry players are required to be able to provide faster and efficient services to keep their consumers from turning to competitors. PT. XYZ Bank In 2014 launched a mobile banking service called SimobiPlus. However, based on the data obtained from the number of internal SimobiPlus users, it is still below 15% of the total customers and it can be concluded that the use intention between customers is still very low, so the authors want to find out the factors that influence the user's intention to use. These research analysts used the method of the previous research UTAUT Extend, where this method has been proven on conducting research of intended use and modify it by adding a variable perception of usefulness, ease of use, trust, and security. In collecting the data, questionnaires with 400 respondents also use for the analysis of this research. Based on the results, the variable Perceived Ease of Use, Trust, Security, Social Influence has a positive effect on behavioral intention, where the Perceived Usefulness variable has the top influence among the variables used in this research.

Purpose The growing popularity of mobile technology has led governments across the world to develop mobile business models and encouraged the transition from the electronic government (e-government) to the mobile government (m-government). However, only a small amount of data is available regarding m-government implementation in developing countries and users’ behavioural intentions (BIs) with respect to the utilization of such services. To address this issue, this study attempts to identify factors that affect m-government acceptance among citizens of the United Arab Emirates (UAE). This study aims to examine the relationships between m-government service characteristics and m-government technology characteristics by analysing their perceived ease-of-use, perceived usefulness, user attitudes towards m-government usage and corresponding BIs with respect to utilization of m-government services. Design/methodology/approach This study is based on a quantitative survey conducted among 326 users of m-government services in the UAE. The responses were tabulated on a five-point Likert scale. Structural equation modelling was used to evaluate the performance of the proposed model and verify the hypothesized relationships between its constructs. Findings Overall, the research findings indicate that: users’ intention to use m-government applications has three determinants – attitude towards m-government use, m-government ease of use and m-government usefulness; m-government usefulness and ease of use have a significant influence on user attitudes towards m-government; and perceived ease of use of the service, currency of the services, the accuracy of the provided information, the security concerns associated with the utilization of the m-government services, trust in the m-government services and the risks perceived in using the m-Government service are antecedents of users’ perceptions of the m-government services. Originality/value This study has improved our understanding of the critical mobile technology factors that are needed to improve user acceptance of m-government services. The study presents important implications for both theory and practice.
