The application of intravenous ozone therapy for the patients with purulent inflammatory processes with individual selection of ozone dose due to the severity of the disease using a lymphocytotoxical test causes the stop of the spreading of the suppurative necrotic nidus on the third day. The development of the granulation tissue in the wound and the edge epihtelization occur on the 6th – 8th day of the stay in the hospital of the patients according to the blood sugar level and the reduction of the hospital term of the patients in 3- 5 days in comparison with the control group.

272 patients have been included in the lead clinical research. The basic group was made of 218 women after simultaneous operations with application as miniinvasive, and traditional methods; control group 54 patients after isolated operative pelvic surgeries. The estimation of the received clinical results shows, that at individual selection of patients in view of possible contra-indications, compensation opportunities of the organism, adequate preoperative preparation, the all-round complex preoperative inspection, correctly chosen method of operative intervention, the increase in volume of operation does not render appreciable influence on a degree traumatic operation, does not promote substantial growth of number of postoperative complications and lethal outcomes.

Aim - to study the state of cellular immunity and cytokine profile at vibration disease due to exposure to local and general vibration, taking into account the severity of the disease. Assessing the role of immunological changes in the pathogenesis of vibration disease. Material and methods. The study involved 84 patients with various forms and severity of vibration disease due to exposure to local and general vibration. The control group included 30 people who did not have contact with occupational hazards at work and who were recognized as healthy according to a complete physical examination. Diagnosis was based on occupational history, sanitary characteristics of working conditions (work in contact with local or general vibration, the vibration levels excessing maximum acceptable level for more than 15 years), full clinical functional screening and instrumental examination of patients. Methods of immunological study included determination of subpopulations of lymphocytes, levels of cytokines IL-ф, IL-4, IL-8, tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF-а) in serum by ELISA. Statistical processing of the data was performed using SPSS software package 21. Results. The study revealed a significant decrease in helper (CD4+) and suppressor (CD8+) subpopulations of lymphocytes, increase of concentration of pro-inflammatory cytokines IL-ф, IL-8, TNF-а; reduction in anti-inflammatory cytokine IL-4 in patients with vibration disease compared with the control group, regardless of the type of vibration, but more pronounced at the second degree of vibration disease due to general vibration. Revealed changes are indicative of the activation of inflammatory processes, violation of immunological reactivity, the presence of cytokine imbalance as the effect of exposure to occupational vibration. Conclusion. The study of the immunological profile (cellular link, cytokine profile) at vibration disease opens up prospects for rehabilitation and treatment of patients with this pathology, and also elaborates our knowledge of the pathogenesis of this disease.

The architectural practice Covacevic, Gaggero, Medina, Echeñique and Gonzālez was established in 1971 for the sole purpose of designing a single building over a period of only 275 days. Despite its brief existence, its significance for Chilean architecture is paramount, both in terms of the specific building designed by the collective and because of the individual relevance of each architect. This "super-firm" was put together by Miguel Lawner and Jorge Wong, from the CORMU (Corporación de Mejoramiento Urbano—Urban Development Corporation), following the direct instruction of the then president, Salvador Allende, with the objective of designing the UNCTAD building. UNCTAD III (the third United Nations Conference on Trade and Development) was scheduled to be held in Santiago in May 1972, and as Chile lacked an existing space to host it, the required 40,000-sq-m building had to be hastily constructed. This presented a challenge that would demand an exceptional combination of legal, human, and technical resources. The establishment of an ad hoc architectural practice and the selection of a recently vacated plot in downtown Santiago, among other strategies, made this building important not only in architectural terms, but also urban, social and, eventually, historical ones.

Abstract Background: There is evidence that women with disabilities (WWDs) experience the most difficulty accessing and using sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHRs) services and information worldwide. However, there are currently no workable interventions to reach WWDs with essential SRHR services. This study aims to test the effect of an integrated health facility and individual-level intervention on access to SRHRs information and services among sexually active WWDs aged 15-49years in Ghana. Methods: A quasi-experimental study design with four arms will be implemented in four districts in the Northern region of Ghana to test the effect of three inter-related interventions. The inventions are (1) capacity building in disability-centred SRHRs information and service delivery for healthcare providers, (2) support for WWDs to access disability-unfriendly healthcare infrastructure, and (3) one-on-one regular SRHRs education, information provision, and referral. The first two interventions are at the health-facility level while the third one is at the individual/family level. The first arm of the experiment will expose eligible WWDs to all three interventions. In the second arm, WWDs will be exposed to only the two-health facility-level interventions. The third arm will expose WWDs to only the individual level intervention. The forth arm will constitute the control group. A total of 680 (170 in each arm) sexually active women with physical disability and visual impairments will take part in the study over a period of 12months. To assess the effect of the interventions on key study outcomes (i.e. awareness about, and use of modern contraceptive, ANC attendance, and skilled delivery among parous women), pre- and post-intervention surveys will be conducted. Difference-in-Difference analysis will be used to examine the effect of each intervention in comparison to the control group, while controlling for effect modifiers. Cost-effectiveness analyses will also be conducted on the three-intervention arms vis a vis changes in key outcome measures to identify which of the three interventions is likely to yield greater impact with lower costs. Discussion: Lack of access to SRHRs information and services for WWDs is not only a violation of their right to appropriate and quality SRH care but could also undermine efforts to achieve equitable healthcare access as envisaged under SDG 3. This research is expected to generate evidence to inform local health programmes to increase access to SRHRs among WWDs by strengthening local health system capacity to provide disability-sensitive SRHRs services.

Kata kunci: Tuberkulosis, kepadatan hunian rumah, status giziAbstractIndonesia there were recorded 304.787 cases of tuberculosis that places at the third level in the world. Tuberculosis is the third level disease which caused of death after cardiovasculer and respiratori tract disease in all age groups and at the first level from all infectious disease. The residence densityrate in Palembang is higher 5,84 times than ideal rate. The objective of this study is aimed to evaluate the relationship between the source of infection in house, the environment in the house, and the individual characteristic with the occurrence of lung tuberculosis BTA (+) in Palembang City. The design of this study is case control comparing case group of tuberculosis(BTA (+)) and case of control group of BTA. This study was conducted in 16 work areas of 36 health centers in Palembang. In multivariat model, it is known that the closest relationship with the occurrence of tuberculosis is nutritional status. A person who lives with high density of residence (< 4 meter/ man), male, and bad status of nutrition (body mass index, BMI > 25,1 and < 18,4) has higher risk for having tuberculosis 29 times than who has not the risk factor.Key words: Tuberculosis, residence density rate, nutritional status

SummaryThe effects of two different training regimens, two different racetrack surfaces (dirt and woodchip), as well as no training (control) were studied to determine their relationships to bone modeling/remodeling and cross-sectional inertial properties in the third metacarpal bone (Mclll) of the young Thoroughbred racehorse. Eight two-year old Thoroughbred racehorses were divided into four groups and subjected to different training regimens over a period of five months. At the end of the training period 100 micron cross sections of Mclll were examined using microradiography and the cross-sectional inertial properties of MCI 11 were determined. The results showed striking differences in the appearance of the bone cross sections with most of the bone modeling occurring on the dorso- medial surface of the ‘classically’ exercised animals and bone deposition on the dorsal surface in the ‘Modified-Classical’ training groups. Inertial properties were different between the groups with the ‘Classically’ trained animals having Imin values similar to the control group while the ‘Modified-Classically’ trained group had large increases in Imin at the mid diaphysis similar to reported measurements of older racehorses. These areal measurements of the cross sections, indicating resistance to bending in the dorsal palmar direction, showed the effects of training on the individual groups.

Contraception is a unique tool that helps not only to avoid unwanted pregnancy and its termination, but also to get additional health benefits. However, the prevalence of the use of contraceptives as a whole and the resource itself, in terms of additional benefits, hormonal contraception, is far from the actual needs. The presented review substantiates the algorithm for the individual selection of a hormonal drug depending on the clinical portrait of a woman in order to solve the problem of reliable and safe protection from pregnancy with preventive and therapeutic effects.
