This study aims to determine the significant effect of the result cooperative learning model  to the student’s learning result in the main subject second semester X “Dynamic Power” Class in SMA Negeri 1 Rantau Selatan T.P 2013/2014.  This research is quasi experimental. The  population in this research was all students in class X which consists of 10 classes. With random cluster sampling technique was chosen class X-2 and X-1 as an experimental class and control class. Instrument were contain of multiple-choice tests and observation sheet test have been conducted to measure the student’s learning outcames. Research’s design is Control Group Pretest-Postest Design. Average data of pre-test experimental class and control class was 47.5 and 51.56. In both classes of the test data obtained pretest that both classes of data are normally distributed and homogeneous. T-test result of pretest obtained t <t table -0,04 <1.99, then Ho is accepted means the ability of the students at the beginning of the second class of the same. Then given treatment that is experimental class with cooperative learning model STAD and a control class with conventional learning models. The posttest average yield experimental class and control class is 70.5 dan 61.5. In both classes of the test data obtained posttest that both classes of data are normally distributed and homogeneous. T test results obtained t> t table 3.09> 1.99 then the Ha was accepted that no significant influence cooperative learning model STAD to the student learning outcomes. Keywords   : Cooperative type STAD, activity, learning results

This study aims to determine the effect of classroom discussion learning model using Socratic seminar method to the student’s learning result in the heat topic of second semester X Class of SMA Negeri 8 Medan T.P 2013/2014. This research is quasi experimental with research design is Two Group Pretes-Postes Design. The  population in this research was all students in class X which consists of 12 classes and the totaled is 343 students. Class X-8 and X-7 were chosen as an experimental class and control class with random sampling technique. Instrument learning results were contain of multiple-choice tests and observation sheet of student activity in the classroom. Average data of pre-test experimental class and control class are 44,33 and 40,33. In both classes, the pretest data are normally distributed and homogeneous. The ability of students at the beginning of both classes are same as analyzed by t-test. After treatment,the data of learning achievement using posttest, shows average yield of experimental class and control class are 70,17 and 56,50, which are normally distributed and homogeneous. Based on t-test, Ha was accepted and reveal that there is significant influence of classroom discussion learning model using Socratic Seminar method to the student learning outcomes. Keywords   :           classroom discussion, Socratic seminar, quasi experiment, learning results

<p><em>The purpose of this research was to determine the effectiveness of cooperative learning model type student facilitator and explaining on accounting subjects in class XI Accounting of SMK 1 Dukuhturi. A quantitative approach with the quasi experimental design used in this research. The population is 180 students. The sampling technique used purposive cluster sampling and obtained two classes or as many as 72 students who were used as research samples. The t test is used to analyze data collected through observation, tests and documentation. The results showed that the calculation of the t test was 6.01 (t</em><em>count </em><em>= 6.01).</em><em>With degrees of freedom (dk) = 36 + 36 - 2 = 70, the significance level is 5% and the price is ttable = 2,000. This can be interpreted tcount &gt; ttable , (6.01 &gt; 2,000), so this research states that the cooperative learning model type student facilitator and explaining is effective to be used in accounting subjects in class XI Accounting of SMK 1 Dukuhturi. The effectiveness of using this model is one of the creative learning alternatives that can be applied in schools</em></p>

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of cooperative learning model of group investigation type against scince generic skills of students. This research was a quasi-experimental. The population in the study was a grade VIII MTS Nurul Falah NW Lajut with 36 students. Sampling was derived by random sampling where the 16 students of VIII A as on experimental class and VIII B as a control class with 20 students.Based on pretest data analysis, obtained an average value of 31,25 experimental class and control class was 42,2.Posttest analysis showed an average grade of 65,75 experimental and control class was 61,6.  The data analysis technique was t-test. It show t- test= 5,80 and t-table = 1,67. Because of  t-count is greater than the  t- table, it can be concluded that there were the effect of cooperative learning model of group investigation generic against science skills of student.

This research aims at developing Speaking Skill through Interview. Its method was quasi-experimental research non-equivalent control group design. Its population was the students of grade VIII at SMP Negeri 1 Palu, in which consists of thirteen parallel classes. The experimental class consists of 29 students and control class consists of 30 students. It was done in eight meetings. The variables of this research were speaking skill and interview. The samples of this research were students of grade VIII C and VIII D, selected through cluster sampling technique. Its results indicate that the application of interview has overcome the students’ problem. After analyzing them, the result of t-counted was 10.01. By applying degree of freedom (df) 57(29+30-2), and the level significant 0.05, the value of t-table was 2.00. So,  the value of t-counted was higher than t-table. It means that the hypothesis of this research was accepted. Thus, the interview can be applied to develop speaking skill of students grade VIII  at  SMP Negeri 1 Palu.

The purpose of this study is (1) to know the effectiveness of the application of STAD cooperative learning to the ability of analysis, to know the effectiveness (2) the application of the STAD type of cooperative learning to the social skills of students in science subjects, and (3) to know the effectiveness of the application of type cooperative learning STAD on students' analytical skills and social skills of students in natural science subjects. This type of research is a quasi-experimental design with a non-equivalent control group. The population in this study were all class VII SMP Negeri 4 Wonosari, amounting to 5 classes. Sampling was done by cluster random sampling technique. The sample of this study, namely class VII A as an experimental class and class VII B as a control class. Research instruments in the form of (1) multiple choice question sheets to determine students' analytical skills, (2) social skills questionnaire sheets, and (3) observation sheets of social skills used during learning. Hypothetical test is parametric through the MANOVA test, followed by the calculation of Cohen's effect size. The results showed that (1) the STAD type cooperative learning model was effective in increasing students' ability to analyze science in science subjects, (2) the STAD type cooperative learning model was effective in increasing the social skills of students in science subjects, and (3) the cooperative learning model STAD type is effective for improving students' analytical skills and social skills in natural science subjects.

The aim of this research was to find out the effect of cooperative learning type snowballthrowing to improve student learning achievement on the reliance mutualin in theecosystem concept. The research was conducted at SMP Negeri 18 Pekanbaru at firstsemester in academic years 2014 / 2015. Design of the research was quasi-experimental,The Matching Only Pretest – Posttest Control Group Design. Sample of the research wastaken two classes with the number of students in each 40 people who were taken by usingsimple random sampling technique. The data were collected by using pretest, posttest andteacher’s and students’ activities observation sheets. The data analysis technique used inthis research was 2 sample independent t test, if the data were normal and homogen. Themean N-gain experimental class was 0.72 high category and the control class was 0.44medium category. Based on the result of statistical test that there were significantdifferences between the mean N-Gain experimental class and control class. Thereby canbe conluded that there were significant application of cooperative learning type snowballthrowing to improve student learning achievement on the reliance mutualin in theecosystem concept class VII SMPN 18 pekanbaru academic year 2014 / 2015.

ABSTRACT Aims of study to determine the effect of cooperative learning model of NHT type to learning outcomes of students in  subject matter  optical geometry in high school N 2 Lintongnihuta A.Y. 2014/2015.Kind of this research is quasi experimental. The population in this research were all students of class X Semester II SMA N 2 Lintongnihuta which consists of two classes. Sampling was done by purposive research by using two existing classes, namely class X Mia 2 were 26students as experimental class and the class X Mia 1 amounted to 30 students as the control class. The instrument used is a cognitive test in the form of multiple choice question number 20 and observation sheet of student’s activity. Experimental class was given treatment by cooperative learning model of  NHT type and grade control with conventional learning. Before being given different treatment performed pretest, which is the average value of the experimental class pretest 48.65 with a standard deviation  11.45 and the average value of the control class pretest 48.67 with a standard deviation 14.07. Second class pretest data testing showed that both classes of data were normally distributed and homogeneous. The test results obtained pretest tcount<ttable (0.0057 <2,14) then H0 is received, it means the ability of students' initial experimental class and control class alike. Then given treatment that is experimental class with cooperative learning model of NHT type and grade control with conventional learning models. During thelearning processinthe experimental classlearning activities of studentsincreased, the meetingI59.79%, 72.07%meetingIIandIIImeeting of75.30%.After the study was completed, given postest with an average 66.53 for experimental class with a standard deviation 11.64 and 48.66 with the control class standard deviation 14.07. On testing normality and homogeneity of data obtained postest that both classes of data were normally distributed and homogeneous. The data processing postest obtained that tcount= 5.1 and ttable = 2.14, so that t count > t table (5.1> 2.14) then Hareceived means there is influence of cooperative learning model of NHT type to students learning outcomes  in optic geometry material to X class SMA N 2 Lintongnihuta A.Y. 2014/2015. <span>The purpose of this study was to examine the influence of the <em>sorogan </em>method in history learning to improve students' historical understanding and historical awareness. The research method used a quasi-experimental nonequivalent control group design, and the sampling technique used a cluster sampling with a sample size of 96 students. Collecting data through observation, interviews, and tests of historical understanding and awareness. Meanwhile, data analysis to determine the effect and differences of the <em>sorogan</em> method to increase understanding and historical awareness using the independent sample t-test and N-gain score test. The results showed that there were a significant influence and difference between the two groups, namely the experimental and control classes based on the results of the independent sample t-test, the hypothesis H0 was rejected with a significance value of 0.000&lt;0.05, further strengthened by the results of the N-gain score test which was included in the criteria low and medium. This means that there is an influence and increase from the implementation of the <em>sorogan</em> method on historical understanding and awareness and getting a positive response from teachers and students, because the <em>sorogan</em> method is student-centered, and the teacher acts as tutorship/mentorship.</span>

This research is a quasi-experimental aims to identify the effect of problem-based learning model using virtual simulation media towards the students’ concept mastery and creativity in physics. The design of this research used of non-equivalent control group design, while the sampling technique used purposive sampling. The population of this research is all students of grade X SMAN 2 Mataram, while the sampling are the students of grade X-3 as the experimental group and the students of grade X-4 as control group. The data obtained in this research is  data mastery of concept and creativity. The research hypothesis was tested using t-test polled variances. The test result showed that the N-gain mastery of concepts has increased in each sub material and the highest increase in the sub matter theory of electromagnetic waves. Values of N-gain experimental group in the high category (71%) and control group in the medium category (53%). T-test showed that the model is applied to significant influence on improving students’ mastery of concepts and creativity, higher in the experimental group compared with the control group. Increased figural creativity higher than verbal creativity in both classes

This study aims to discover the effectiveness of the blended learning model in mathematics learning to improve the achievement of mathematical concepts. This study employed a quasi-experimental design with a non-equivalent control group. The experimental class was taught through blended learning, while the control class was taught through the conventional learning model. The population of this study was the students at State Senior High School 1 Sewon Yogyakarta, Indonesia. The research sample involved 60 tenth-grade students in the 2019/2020 academic year, 30 students in each of the experimental and control groups. The sampling technique used cluster sampling and the data were collected using a test instrument. The validity of the test was measured using the obtained Aiken index (0.80), and the reliability was based on the Cronbach's alpha coefficient (0.86). The data were analyzed using t-tests and descriptive statistics. The results of this study showed that the blended learning model is significantly more effective than the conventional learning model in enhancing students’ achievement of mathematical concepts. This means that the application of blended learning in mathematics learning can significantly improve students' achievement of mathematical concepts.
