Improving the quality of education is based on the formation of the quality of learning through teacher competence in managing the classroom. However, the problem is that the learning outcomes of history are still relatively low because the competence of teachers in applying the method is still monotonous. On the other hand, the VCT learning model can provide creative-critical power, foster positive attitudes, interests, and values in students in learning history. Therefore, this study aims to determine the effect of the Value Clarification Technique learning model on student learning outcomes of history. The research method used quantitative methods with a quasi-experimental design. The research design used was the Non-Equivalent Pretest-Posttest Design. The population in this study was all students of grade XI. At the same time, the sampling technique is purposive sampling which is divided into two classes into the experimental group and the control group. The results of this study indicate that the VCT learning model affects student learning outcomes in history learning.

ABSTRACT Aims of study to determine the effect of cooperative learning model of NHT type to learning outcomes of students in  subject matter  optical geometry in high school N 2 Lintongnihuta A.Y. 2014/2015.Kind of this research is quasi experimental. The population in this research were all students of class X Semester II SMA N 2 Lintongnihuta which consists of two classes. Sampling was done by purposive research by using two existing classes, namely class X Mia 2 were 26students as experimental class and the class X Mia 1 amounted to 30 students as the control class. The instrument used is a cognitive test in the form of multiple choice question number 20 and observation sheet of student’s activity. Experimental class was given treatment by cooperative learning model of  NHT type and grade control with conventional learning. Before being given different treatment performed pretest, which is the average value of the experimental class pretest 48.65 with a standard deviation  11.45 and the average value of the control class pretest 48.67 with a standard deviation 14.07. Second class pretest data testing showed that both classes of data were normally distributed and homogeneous. The test results obtained pretest tcount<ttable (0.0057 <2,14) then H0 is received, it means the ability of students' initial experimental class and control class alike. Then given treatment that is experimental class with cooperative learning model of NHT type and grade control with conventional learning models. During thelearning processinthe experimental classlearning activities of studentsincreased, the meetingI59.79%, 72.07%meetingIIandIIImeeting of75.30%.After the study was completed, given postest with an average 66.53 for experimental class with a standard deviation 11.64 and 48.66 with the control class standard deviation 14.07. On testing normality and homogeneity of data obtained postest that both classes of data were normally distributed and homogeneous. Teaching aids in the world of education is a medium that mediates to help clarifying concepts in learning mathematics. This study aims to determine the efect of the use of toy car props on students’ interest in learning mathematics, especially in comparison material. This research was conducted at SMPN I Bola VII class semester 2 of the 2019/2020 scholl year. This type of research is quantitative by using a quasi-experimental methods. The population of this study were 192 studentsof class VII SMPN I Bola with a sample 0f 23 students in the experimental class and 23 from the control class. The sampling technique used is class random technique. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire of interest in learning. Before carrying out a hypothesis test it is necessary to do a prerequisite test that is a test for normality and homogeneit. The normality test  obtained significant values in the experimental class and control were 0,136 and 0,620, because the value obtained has a significance level 0f >0,05, it can be stated that the data is normally distributed. For the homogeneity test, the results obtained a significant value of 0,001 at a sisnificant level of 0,05, so it can be said that the data is homogeneous. After the data is normally distributed and homogeneous, it is continued with hypothesis testing. Hypothesis testing used the independent sample t-test obtained value of  t-count > t-table where t-count = 6,49 while t-table = 2,01 which means that the use of toy props has an effect on the interest in learning mathematics in class VII SMPN I Bola where students’interest in learning mathematics increases. Thus the teacher can use toy props related to the material and can be used in matematics learning so that students’ interest in learning mathematics increases.
