Covid-19 requires educators to innovate using the adaptive English teaching method. Various researchers have researched English teaching methods to solve the learning process in the Covid-19 pandemic. Therefore multiple studies need to be compiled into one discussion to produce information for the next researchers about future opportunities. This study conducts the Bibliometrics Analysis method to analyze the citation of research articles. The study population adopts article primer data of English teaching method in Covid-19 pandemic by searching through Google scholar with the key “English teaching method in Covid-19 pandemic” using Publish or Perish (PoP) software in December 2020. Based on the initial data search using the Publish or Perish (PoP) application, there were 989 articles. After screening the suitability of the topic, 63 articles were obtained, which became data to discuss. Data mapping results using the VOSViewer Software show the research trend is in the keyword that appears the most of sixty-three articles such as student, pandemic Covid, teacher, education, teaching, and EFL Teacher. Therefore, the next research potential uses other teaching media of the keyword summary presented by VOSViewer.

Based on the current contradiction between the grammar-translation method and the communicative teaching method in English teaching, this paper, starting with clarifying the task of comprehensive English as well as the definition of the two teaching methods, objectively analyzes their advantages and disadvantages and proposes establishing a new method by fusing them with an elaboration on the reasonability of combining them in the practical teaching of comprehensive English with their complementary advantages.

This study was aimed to describe the English Teaching Methods in writing descriptive text and the problems faced by the teacher. This study was conducted by using descriptive qualitative research design. The subject of this research was an English teacher of SMK NEGERI 1 Pulau Rakyat. The techniques of collecting data were by observing the process of teaching writing comprehension of descriptive text at X Grade students and interviewing the English teacher. The techniques of collecting data were observation and interview. This study found that the teacher at SMK NEGERI 1 Pulau Rakyat used the method in teaching writing descriptive text. The English teacher used the lecture method and discussion method to teach in the descriptive text and the students get difficulties in comprehending the material. The application lecture method and discussion method is not appropriate with scientific approach of 2013 Curriculum. The result and response from the students to the teacher’s method are still not effective. The teacher should not apply the methods in written but also in spoken. And the problems faced by the teacher were the first is about the lack of students’ vocabularies, and the second is about the students’ participations when work in group. This study also found that the teacher’s methods not integrated with the scientific approach of 2013 Curriculum. The implementation of methods in teaching writing  should can make teaching learning process more interesting and help the students’ understanding and skill of writing comprehension better.Key words: Teaching Method, Writing, Descriptive Text.

In the context of my country’s sustained economic development, big data has also been developed to a certain extent, and has now become an issue of great concern to all industries. In the field of education, English is a very important subject. It carries out the entire study life of students. In order to cultivate English professionals, broaden students’ horizons, and achieve integration of production and education, it is necessary to draw lessons from big data. As a basis, online teaching methods are implemented in the process of English teaching to improve student learning efficiency and better realize the integration of production and education. Based on this, this article analyzes the online teaching of English production and education integration based on big data, hoping to provide a certain degree of reference for the research of latecomers.

In today’s education and teaching reform, the traditional teaching method in the teaching of polymer materials has been gradually replaced with various new teaching methods. Among them, the case analysis method is a very effective teaching method, which has been applied to the teaching of polymer materials. Through example-based teaching, students’ participation can be effectively improved, and their theoretical knowledge can be fully utilized. This would have a positive role in promoting the improvement of students’ knowledge system and their learning ability. In regard to this, this article analyzes the application of case analysis in the teaching of polymer materials so as to improve its efficiency and quality.

At present, our society has gradually developed into an Internet-based society. Driven by the development of the Internet, many areas including education have begun to reform and innovate. Many colleges and universities in China have always adopted the traditional teaching methods, for instance, using a unidirectional teaching method or teaching in a fixed place. In the era of Internet, these methods fail to meet the needs of both parents and students. Subsequently, with the emergence of Internet Plus technology, the limitations that were originally found in the development of English teaching in colleges and universities can be overcome. By combining virtuality and reality, a new mode of simultaneous online and offline teaching has been realized, making English teaching no longer affected by the limitation of space.

Directed by the traditional teaching methods, China’s middle school English teaching pays much attention to passing down linguistic knowledge, ignoring students’ learning motivation, which leads to students’ inadequate ability of English application. 5P Teaching Method aims to improve students’ self-learning ability and their language application ability, which requires teachers to change their roles and strengthen the interaction with students. Meanwhile, it can provide an active and lively environment for English teaching. This paper analyzes the application of 5P Teaching Method in middle school English teaching in China and proves its necessity and validity.

Through interviews and induction, this paper attempts to discuss the importance of college English teaching methods in the teaching process under the network context and point out issues like teachers’ inadequate awareness and abilities of collecting network resources and information and insufficient background monitoring on students’ study activities. Based on this, this paper proposes that college English teachers should free their minds, change their views and improve their network operation skills to know more about students’ study activities and update their knowledge bases to improve their own quality so as to redefine their roles under the network context.
