The present study analyzes the contribution that teachers, as important pedagogical factors, have in achieving success in the academic learning of students. With age, there comes a greater autonomy of the educated, and during the university studies, a maximum of the students’ level of acquisitions is reached. Even if the most important factors in attending and completing studies are internal, and success is a relative, difficult situation to quantify, it is necessary to analyze it objectively, identifying the students' perceptions of the external support from the teachers. From an applicative point of view, our contribution consisted in verifying the extent to which the communication and didactic evaluation components are valued, by organizing focus groups, by applying appreciation scales to a sample of students preparing to become teachers, at the University of Craiova. The subjects responded to the request to perform reflective-appreciative exercises on themselves and on the activity of their teachers in the academic year 2020-2021. They indicated the degree of satisfaction they attribute to the way they were helped in: conducting didactic communication, experiencing the feeling of belonging to the university environment, applying a correct evaluation, heading towards academic success. The ways in which teachers contribute to the success of their students have proven their usefulness and can be transformed into directions of action. Teachers make it easier for young people or adults in the university environment to make the most of their potential, both through quality teaching and through encouraging evaluation.

The study aimed to identify the satisfaction level with training programs via electronic platforms in the development of self- development skills and training for Taibah University students. The researcher has designed a questionnaire as the main tool of the study and intended to measure the degree of satisfaction about the training programs provided by electronic platforms on self- development skills and training via it. The population of the current study was all the female students who study the university like skills course, while the sample of the study consisted of 125 students who were selected randomly in the second semester of the academic year 1439/1440. A number of statistical methods have been used to reach the findings such as frequencies, means and standard deviation. The study adopted a descriptive approach. The results of the study showed that the satisfaction rate of the study sample on the role of training programs through electronic platforms in the development of self- development skills and training through them was very high, with means scores (4.3). Findings of the study revealed that there were statistically significant differences could be attributed to scientific major variable. In contrast, there were no statically significant differences that could be ascribed to students' cumulative grades. It was found that the most appropriate training programs from the point of view of the study sample were self-development skill followed by education, then economics and management. The study has concluded with many recommendations; the most important one was to increase awareness of the importance of the available training programs via e- platforms which provide plenty of knowledge to develop aptitudes and skills. The study also provided a number of suggestions.

Queries, activities and those sufficient solutions of teaching and learning situations are daily bread of the teaching profession. Thus, in learning of future teachers exist possibilities how to influence the progress of the teachers’ identity construction with self-creative and critical tools which are connected to the complexity of the personality. However, action research helps to deeply understand techniques which are behind the line of the traditional point of view and helps to understand the situations from the pragmatic way of natural learning in the process of preparation at the university. The research aim is focused on the support of integration of the action research as a tool for the teachers’ preparation in the good practice of the university environment. Mixed research methods are based on the narrative corpus which consists of the coded interviews and specific tasks connected to the educational preparation. Results reflect the current various ways of developing future teachers and their impact on future teachers‘ identities.

The article attempts to analyze the place of higher educational establishments(HEE) in general and its museums in particular playing in the city life. Thethe empirical basis of the article is the information collected as a result of researchvisits to HEE in seven regions of Western Ukraine: Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk,Ternopil, Volyn, Rivne, Chernivtsi, and Zakarpattia, organized for 2013-2017.The main used method is interviews with personnel of HEE museums. The author points out these «temples of muses» gradually moved awayfrom its traditional educational and research mission in the 1980’s. Such reassessmentof priorities had been caused by the crisis of the museum. For thelast 30 years it has become clear reduction of using the collections for teachingand research in many universities; some HEE plan to dispose of collectionsand to close museums; many universities are working out alternative organizationalmodels for managing collections in the one newly created museum. The crisis in the museum environment has imposed on the crisis, which theparent universities as institutions are encountering today - «crisis of identity» and «a crisis of resources», caused by the increasing often contradictoryrequirements to the high schools. On this background, the museums as individualunits also began to increase requirements. It led to their gradual transformationinto a museum of « the third generation». One of their defining missionis promoting the HEE, cooperation with the public in order to disseminateinformation about the university, vocational guidance, involvement of patronsand organization of other works implementing this direction. In particular, the article highlights atypical for the Ukrainian context the role of HEE museums- «shop-windows» and «show-cases», through which representatives ofoutside university environment can acquaint themselves with the achievementsof high school and feel its special atmosphere. The author outlines a numberof touristic potential of some HEE in Western Ukraine, where physical objectsare interesting from an architectural and cultural point of view. Amongthe most striking examples is the main building of Yuriy Fedkovych ChernivtsiNational University., Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, campus of Lviv Polytechnic National University, campus of The National Universityof Ostroh Academy, Lviv State University of Life Safety, Kremenets ForestryCollege. Among the researched 74 HEE are roughly a quarter which can beclassified as «visually attractive». However, less than 10 % of them use thisadvantage for brand developing. The relevant policy concerning museumsand academic space in general will allow high school to become a separatepoint on the tourist map, to establish relationships with the surrounding communityand to participate actively in local cultural life.

The main purpose of the research was to figure out which was the level of comprehension of the didactic concepts that the students of the Secondary Education Master of the University of Alicante of the academic year 2011/12 had. With this purpose, we have collected the information provided by the answers of 227 students to an ad-hoc-elaborated semi-structured questionnaire whose data have been treated with a quantitative methodology using the SPSS.19 device. The statistic techniques were descriptive, differential and correlational. In this analysis, we take into account the scores obtained by students in variables related to their learning process and their attitudes towards it. The most interesting results prove that the students don’t master the basic didactic concepts in a satisfactory way, there are differences between the levels of comprehension and other variables related to the learning of the concepts and with attitudinal variables of this learning. The research based on these results indicates the need to focus the teaching and learning processes of the Master from a different point of view and combining the strategies which enhance the understanding of these concepts by the students. Key words: concept comprehension, didactic training, pre-service teacher education, Secondary Education Master.

The article analyzes the experience of tutoring teachers teaching foreign students in the distance learning mode. It is also about the interaction of a teacher and a student throughout the whole academic year, as well as the importance of all elements of systematic work in teaching Russian as a foreign language from scratch. A team of tutors was organized at the faculty, whose mission was to contact their wards within the framework of distance learning: from their connection to the educational platform of the university to organizing their admission to Russian universities. Purpose of the study: consider the role of a tutoring teacher in the system of teaching Russian as a foreign language in a distance mode. The main methods of work are the methods of observation and description of the features of the pedagogical process. The forecasting method is also used to model the future educational mode of foreign students. The survey method is applied, which allows to get “feedback” from the respondents. The quantitative technique allowed us to analyze the number of responses as a percentage. The changes taking place in the world have given a powerful impetus to the improvement of digital educational resources. Teachers were able to mobilize and conduct their own experiment, while adhering to the new standards of distance learning. An attempt is made in the work to comprehensively analyze the introduced system of tutoring and summarize its first results.

Drawing on my experience as professor of Anthropology in Greece, this paper focuses on student practices like rote learning and plagiarism academics commonly consider inimical to meaningful learning, intellectual empowerment and the cultivation of critical independent thinking.  In this paper I refrain from viewing such practices from the standard academic perspective according to which they must be eradicated, and try to appreciate them from the perspective of the students who engage in them.  I suggest that they serve as means through which students navigate in and cope with the university environment, but they also provide a point of view from which the university appears as a setting within which the “bad habits” academics so despise are sensible and helpful.

There is an ongoing discussion among experts concerning the result of university activities. One point of view is that universities should be considered as places of research and measured by their contribution to science. The aim of research is to formulate a methodological approach to assess scholarship and research productivity in universities based on the assumption that the growth transaction costs define higher education institution knowledge generation. The authors present a proposal of a new ratio, called the Knowledge Generation Efficacy Ratio (KGER), which assesses the research productivity in universities. To test this ratio, an empirical survey was carried out based on data collected from four different universities in Russia. The results of this study contribute to the development of scholarly and research productivity method. The KGER can be used as a tool for making decisions concerning the different research activities taking place in the university, the level of funding and return on investment.

This article presents the design and development of the ‘Trébol (Clover) Programme’, a tool which allows us to improve environmental sustainability in the university environment by reinforcing the education, awareness, and training of its members. The system for certifying ‘good practice’ is divided into four progressive levels, and a certificate is awarded in order to demonstrate the environmental commitment acquired to third parties. The aim of the whole process is to create a practical forum for participation, communication, motivation and competence, which is necessary to foster effective pro-environmental behaviour. The study took place at the University of Córdoba (Spain), and, since it began in the 2013/2014 academic year, over 50 groups a wide range of areas have taken part, making a total of nearly 600 participants. The results show that the Trébol Programme enables environmental commitment to be put into practice, through continuous, systematised, participative and well-organised improvements in environmental performance. Its potential as an educational resource for environmental improvement should also be noted, by boosting environmental awareness and establishing new norms. It fits in well with the principles and areas of action of Education for Sustainable Development, and can be applied to universities and other settings to bring about a shift towards sustainability in the fields of teaching, research and management.
