Plered Ceramics is a business in processing clay, whose products can be used as household appliances and decoration. In its development the SME industry can export. Achievement to make products that are acceptable and in accordance with the wishes of consumers has been increasingly recognized by businesses. There fore we need a process flow that can support the smooth production process to fulfill orders. This study aims to analyze the production process flow map in the ceramics industry Plered Purwakarta from the perspective of layout theory. The method used is a qualitative method of study of motion and time.Based on the results of research on designing process flow maps related to the machine is better and more profitable for craftsmen because it takes a shorter time. However, its use is experiencing obstacles due to lack of skills in operating the machine in ceramic processing.

The procedure of traceability of finished product, the regulating actions for tracking of products, beginning from the raw materials used for production of the single-part randomly chosen consumer package of a product and ending with shipment of this product to distributing facilities and also for tracking of processing of randomly chosen raw materials are offered. The traceability system does not guarantee a complete elimination of risk from arrival to the enterprise of improper raw and other materials, but allows tracking and identifying a source of nonconformance, after receiving of problem in quality of finished product. If a source of nonconformance is raw or other materials, then the manufacturer can allocate responsibilities for damage to property to the supplier of these raw or other materials. The procedure of traceability provides carrying out of training exercises at least once a year for determination of efficiency and working capacity of the current system of traceability, and also for identification and elimination of bottlenecks. For monitor and control over the stages of a process flow on the basis of the available database were proved the critical parameters of production process of confectionery, which control will allow to receive a safe product with the set technological and end-user performances. For monitor and control over the stages of a process flow on the basis of the available database on product traceability were proved the critical parameters of production process of confectionery, which control will allow to receive a safe product with the set technological and end-user performances. The accepted system eliminates a possibility of sales of products of nonconforming quality and allows to go back from the established control procedures that promotes the productivity enhancement.

We present the results of a user study comparing variants of commonly used line symbolizations for directed origin–destination flow maps. Our design and evaluation consisted of five line symbolizations that employ a combination of following visual variables: arrowheads, origin–destination coloring (color hue, and value), line shortening, line width, tapered edges (varying width from wide to narrow, and narrow to wide), and curvature asymmetry and strength. To guide our evaluation, we used a task-by-type typology and chose four representative tasks that are commonly used in flow map reading: identifying dominant direction of flows, flows with the highest magnitude (volume), spatial focusing of long flows toward a destination, and clusters of high net-exports (net-outflow). We systematically analyzed user responses and task performance which we measured by task completion time and accuracy. We designed a web-based flow mapping and testing framework and recruited the participants from Amazon Mechanical Turk. To demonstrate the application and user experiment, we used 16 commodity flow data sets in the United States from 2007 and systematically rotated the layouts to evaluate the effect of layout orientation. From this study, we can conclude that there is potential usefulness for all of the five symbolizations we tested; however, the influence of the design on performance and perception depends on the type of the task. Also, we found that data and layout orientation have significant effects on performance and perception of patterns in flow maps which we attribute to the change in visual saliency of node and flow patterns in relation to the way users scan the map. We recommend that the choice of line symbolization should be guided by a task taxonomy which end users are expected to perform. We discuss various design trade-offs and recommendations and potential future work for designing and evaluating line symbolizations for flow mapping.

Bali Tourism has developed in recent decades. Its development is marked by increasing tourist arrivals, increasing tourist accommodations, attractions, and diverse tourist attractions. The development of tourism causes more and more performing arts that are commercial and profit oriented. One of the commercial performances is the art of touristic performances titled Bali Agung - The Legend of Balinese Goddesses that is a mythological story of Jayapangus marriage with Kang Cing Wei. This research uses qualitative method. The data were collected by observation techniques, interviews, and document studies. The analysis uses commodification theory. The results of this study indicate that the art of Bali Agung performances is the result of commodification seen in the production, distribution, and consumption. In the production process there are modifications to three main characters, namely Jayapangus, Kang Cing Wei, and Dewi Danu from sacred to profane. In the process of the performing there are negotiable ideas between Balinese and Western artists.
