The purpose of the research using the synthetic scoping review method is to reveal state-of-the-art of entrepreneurial orientation study in social entrepreneurship context. This research was carried out in a mixed method approach with three stages, namely systematic review and scoping review as a qualitative approach and bibliometric mapping with co-occurrence analysis as a quantitative approach. The results of a systematic review show that a social entrepreneurial orientation has been initiated since 2002.. The European Union and quantitative research dominate. The results of the scoping review reveal seven dimensions of entrepreneurial orientation that are typical with social entrepreneurship context. Furthermore, the results of the co-occurrence analysis raise five major themes, namely 1) the effect of social entrepreneurial orientation on entrepreneurial financial performance, 2) economic performance and social performance, 3) Social entrepreneurial orientation in sociopreneurship practice, 4) the antecedent and consequent of the strategic domain of social entrepreneurial orientation and 5) Social entrepreneurial orientation in knowledge spillover theory of entrepreneurship. Based on results, this article contributes to new research opportunities on social entrepreneurial orientation study. Tujuan penelitian dengan metode synthetic scoping review disini adalah mengungkap kondisi terkini (state-of-the-art) kajian orientasi entrepreneurial dalam konteks entrepreneurship sosial. Penelitian dilakukan dengan pendekatan mixed method dalam tiga tahap, yaitu systematic review dan scoping review sebagai pendekatan kualitatif dan bibliometric mapping dengan analisis co-occurrence sebagai pendekatan kuantitatif. Hasil systematic review menunjukkan bahwa orientasi entrepreneurial sosial telah digagas sejak 2002. Uni Eropa dan penelitian kuantitatif mendominasi. Hasil scoping review memunculkan tujuh dimensi orientasi entrepreneurial yang khas dalam konteks entrepreneurship sosial. Selanjutnya, hasil analisis co-occurrence memunculkan lima tema besar, yaitu 1) pengaruh orientasi entrepreneurial sosial terhadap kinerja keuangan entrepreneurial, 2) kinerja ekonomi dan kinerja sosial, 3) orientasi entrepreneurial sosial dalam praktik sociopreneurship, 4) anteseden dan konsekuen domain strategis orientasi entrepreneurial sosial, dan 5) orientasi entrepreneurial social dalam knowledge spillover theory of entrepreneurship. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, artikel ini berkontribusi membuka peluang penelitian baru dalam kajian orientasi entrepreneurial sosial.

Pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (PanNETs) are rare tumors having usually an indolent behavior, but sometimes with unpredictable aggressiveness. PanNETs are more often non-functioning (NF), unable to produce functioning hormones, while 10-30% present as functioning (F) - PanNETs, such as insulinomas , gastrinomas , and other rare tumors. Diagnostic and prognostic markers, but also new therapeutic targets, are still lacking. Proteomics techniques represent therefore promising approaches for the future management of PanNETs. We conducted a systematic review to summarize the state of the art of proteomics in PanNETs. A total of 9 studies were included, focusing both on NF- and F-PanNETs. Indeed, proteomics is useful for the diagnosis, the prognosis and the detection of therapeutic targets. However, further studies are required. It is also warranted to standardize the analysis methods and the collection techniques, in order to validate proteins with a relevance in the personalized approach to PanNETs management.

Abstract Background Gender-affirming hormone (GAH) therapy aims to support the transition of transgender people to their gender identity. GAHs can induce changes in their secondary sex characteristics such as the development of breasts in transgender females and increased muscle mass in transgender males. The face and its surrounding tissues also have an important role in gender confirmation. The aim of this scoping review is to systematically map the available evidence in order to provide an overview of the effects of GAH therapy on the hard and soft tissues of the craniofacial complex in transgender people. Methods/design The Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses Protocols (PRISMA) extension for Scoping Reviews was consulted for reporting this protocol. The methods were based on the Arksey and O’Malley’s framework and the Reviewer’s Manual of the Joanna Briggs Institute for conducting scoping reviews. Ten transgender people were involved in the development of the primary research question through short interviews. The eligibility criteria were defined for transgender people undergoing GAH therapy and for quantitative and qualitative outcomes on the hard and soft tissues of the craniofacial complex. Eligible sources of evidence include observational, experimental, qualitative, and mixed method studies. No exclusion criteria will be applied for the language of publication and the setting. To identify eligible sources of evidence, we will conduct searches from inception onwards in PubMed, Embase.com, the Cochrane Library, Web of Science Core Collection, Scopus, CINAHL, LIVIVO, and various grey literature sources such as Google Scholar. Two reviewers will independently select eligible studies in these information sources and will subsequently conduct data extraction. The same operators will chart, categorize, and summarize the extracted data. A narrative summary of findings will be conducted. Frequency counts of quantitative and qualitative data on items such as concepts, populations, interventions, and other characteristics of the eligible sources will be given. Where possible, these items will be mapped descriptively. Discussion We chose the scoping review over the systematic review approach, because the research questions are broad-spectrum and the literature is expected to be widely scattered. No systematic review has previously assessed this topic. Identifying knowledge gaps in this area and summarizing and disseminating research findings are important for a wide spectrum of stakeholders, in particular, for transgender people who want to undergo additional interventions such as plastic or orthognathic surgery or orthodontics. Abstract Background The ankle joint complex (AJC) is of fundamental importance for balance, support, and propulsion. However, it is particularly susceptible to musculoskeletal and neurological injuries, especially neurological injuries such as drop foot following stroke. An important factor in ankle dysfunction is damage to the central nervous system (CNS). Correspondingly, the fundamental goal of rehabilitation training is to stimulate the reorganization and compensation of the CNS, and to promote the recovery of the motor system’s motor perception function. Therefore, an increasing number of ankle rehabilitation robots have been developed to provide long-term accurate and uniform rehabilitation training of the AJC, among which the parallel ankle rehabilitation robot (PARR) is the most studied. The aim of this study is to provide a systematic review of the state of the art in PARR technology, with consideration of the mechanism configurations, actuator types with different trajectory tracking control techniques, and rehabilitation training methods, thus facilitating the development of new and improved PARRs as a next step towards obtaining clinical proof of their rehabilitation benefits. Methods A literature search was conducted on PubMed, Scopus, IEEE Xplore, and Web of Science for articles related to the design and improvement of PARRs for ankle rehabilitation from each site’s respective inception from January 1999 to September 2020 using the keywords “ parallel”, “ ankle”, and “ robot”. Appropriate syntax using Boolean operators and wildcard symbols was utilized for each database to include a wider range of articles that may have used alternate spellings or synonyms, and the references listed in relevant publications were further screened according to the inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria. Results and discussion Ultimately, 65 articles representing 16 unique PARRs were selected for review, all of which have developed the prototypes with experiments designed to verify their usability and feasibility. From the comparison among these PARRs, we found that there are three main considerations for the mechanical design and mechanism optimization of PARRs, the choice of two actuator types including pneumatic and electrically driven control, the covering of the AJC’s motion space, and the optimization of the kinematic design, actuation design and structural design. The trajectory tracking accuracy and interactive control performance also need to be guaranteed to improve the effect of rehabilitation training and stimulate a patient’s active participation. In addition, the parameters of the reviewed 16 PARRs are summarized in detail with their differences compared by using figures and tables in the order they appeared, showing their differences in the two main actuator types, four exercise modes, fifteen control strategies, etc., which revealed the future research trends related to the improvement of the PARRs. Conclusion The selected studies showed the rapid development of PARRs in terms of their mechanical designs, control strategies, and rehabilitation training methods over the last two decades. However, the existing PARRs all have their own pros and cons, and few of the developed devices have been subjected to clinical trials. Designing a PARR with three degrees of freedom (DOFs) and whereby the mechanism’s rotation center coincides with the AJC rotation center is of vital importance in the mechanism design and optimization of PARRs. In addition, the design of actuators combining the advantages of the pneumatic-driven and electrically driven ones, as well as some new other actuators, will be a research hotspot for the development of PARRs. For the control strategy, compliance control with variable parameters should be further studied, with sEMG signal included to improve the real-time performance. Multimode rehabilitation training methods with multimodal motion intention recognition, real-time online detection and evaluation system should also be further developed to meet the needs of different ankle disability and rehabilitation stages. In addition, the clinical trials are in urgent need to help the PARRs be implementable as an intervention in clinical practice.

This paper discusses the valuable role recommender systems may play in cybersecurity. First, a comprehensive presentation of recommender system types is presented, as well as their advantages and disadvantages, possible applications and security concerns. Then, the paper collects and presents the state of the art concerning the use of recommender systems in cybersecurity; both the existing solutions and future ideas are presented. The contribution of this paper is two-fold: to date, to the best of our knowledge, there has been no work collecting the applications of recommenders for cybersecurity. Moreover, this paper attempts to complete a comprehensive survey of recommender types, after noticing that other works usually mention two–three types at once and neglect the others.

The rapid advances in human-friendly and wearable photoplethysmography (PPG) sensors have facilitated the continuous and real-time monitoring of physiological conditions, enabling self-health care without being restricted by location. In this paper, we focus on state-of-the-art skin-compatible PPG sensors and strategies to obtain accurate and stable sensing of biological signals adhered to human skin along with light-absorbing semiconducting materials that are classified as silicone, inorganic, and organic absorbers. The challenges of skin-compatible PPG-based monitoring technologies and their further improvements are also discussed. We expect that such technological developments will accelerate accurate diagnostic evaluation with the aid of the biomedical electronic devices.

Abstract Background Global responses to the COVID-19 pandemic have exposed and exacerbated existing socioeconomic and health inequities that disproportionately affect the sexual health and well-being of many populations, including people of color, ethnic minority groups, women, and sexual and gender minority populations. Although there have been several reviews published on COVID-19 and health disparities across various populations, none has focused on sexual health. We plan to conduct a scoping review that seeks to fill several of the gaps in the current knowledge of sexual health in the COVID-19 era. Methods A scoping review focusing on sexual health and COVID-19 will be conducted. We will search (from January 2020 onwards) CINAHL, Africa-Wide Information, Web of Science Core Collection, Embase, Gender Studies Database, Gender Watch, Global Health, WHO Global Literature on Coronavirus Disease Database, WHO Global Index Medicus, PsycINFO, MEDLINE, and Sociological Abstracts. Grey literature will be identified using Disaster Lit, Google Scholar, governmental websites, and clinical trials registries (e.g., ClinicalTrial.gov, World Health Organization, International Clinical Trials Registry Platform, and International Standard Randomized Controlled Trial Number Registry). Study selection will conform to the Joanna Briggs Institute Reviewers’ Manual 2015 Methodology for JBI Scoping Reviews. Only English language, original studies will be considered for inclusion. Two reviewers will independently screen all citations, full-text articles, and abstract data. A narrative summary of findings will be conducted. Data analysis will involve quantitative (e.g., frequencies) and qualitative (e.g., content and thematic analysis) methods. Discussion Original research is urgently needed to mitigate the risks of COVID-19 on sexual health. The planned scoping review will help to address this gap.
