Satisfying employees at work places has ever been a crucial task before any of the organizations to ensure the success of the organization. Further, the level of job satisfaction is affected by a wide range of variables relating to individual, social, cultural, organizational and environmental factors. The present study examines the level of satisfaction of employees of post offices around the Tricity (Chandigarh, Panchkula and Mohali). The study highlights various factors determining the employees satisfaction with the job and some recommendations have also been made to enhance their satisfaction level. Data are obtained from postal assistants through structured questionnaire and used to illustrate their perception towards their organization with the help of factor analysis.

This mini survey is aiming at collecting communal idea and feeling of employees towards their institute and operational modes of different modalities. Through the result from this survey, the management may make conform of the issues suggested by participants basing on the institute existing situation. The survey contemplated on the evaluating level of employees’ job satisfaction. All professional employees were invited to participate in the survey and the data was conveniently collected from 22 participants through structured questionnaire (Likert scale). The main areas addressed in the survey were employee job recognition, employee work environment, salary and wages, employee supervision at work. The results from the survey indicate that majority(86%) of the employees are satisfied with the manner they are recognized by the institute management. Most of the employees were satisfied with working environment. However, majority (82%) were dissatisfied with amount of salary and wages paid for their work. The survey team recommends the institute management to maintain admirable those areas with high level of satisfaction and take action for those areas with low satisfaction. However, large survey may be needed to observe other areas of satisfaction and dissatisfaction. KEY WORDS: Employees Job Satisfaction Level

The present study was conducted on 160 teachers of different subjects (Hindi, English, Mathematics, and Science) of secondary level under public sector schools to assess their job satisfaction. Results suggested that job satisfaction level was found maximum in mathematics subject teachers and minimum in Hindi. The key findings of this study was lack of better opportunity, low salary and the work that an individual find boring are certain issues which affect teacher's responsibility. Low level of satisfaction was a significant cause to move out from their objectives and it proportionally affects learning methodology of students.

The present study was undertaken to explore the decision making patterns of college girls in relation to clothing and their satisfaction level with these decision making patterns. Thirty under graduate college girls from Panipat city were approached to record their responses regarding decision making in relation to clothing and satisfaction level through a well structured questionnaire. It was found that most of the girls (56.66%) themselves made the decisions about the type of garment (Indian, western or both) they wear and majority of girls (70%) were highly satisfied with this decision making. Parents performed the role of buyers for their college going daughters' garments in most of the cases (63.33%) and the 73.33% girls had high level of satisfaction with this. In most of the cases (60%) the decision about the garment design was made by the girls themselves and they were highly satisfied with it. Keywords: clothing, college, girls, decision making.

The purpose of this paper is to identify and evaluate which managerial style prevails in the operational area of five IT companies and their relationship with the job satisfaction of their employees. For data collection, a questionnaire was applied to 120 participants, validating 110 responses. Questions regarding the three factors of EAEG were integrated in order to identify the focus in which the leadership predominantly operates in these companies, and the five dimensions of EST were used to measure the level of employees satisfaction regarding each dimension evaluated. Descriptive statistical processing allowed to observe that the managerial style focused on the Task prevails, with an overall average score of vt = 4.11. As dispersion measures, the sample standard deviation (St = 0.39) and sample amplitude (At = 0.91) corresponding to this factor (Task) were calculated, respectively, showing that the values are very close to the average score. It indicates that there is uniformity between the scores for each item of the factor Task. It was found that 65 % of participants confirm the role of the leadership focused on the Task. The Satisfaction with the nature of work dimension reached an average score of vd = 5.09, showing employee satisfaction. The dimension Satisfaction with colleagues reached an average score of  vd = 4.34 indicating indifference on the level of satisfaction, whereas the dimensions Satisfaction with salary, promotions and leadership, reached averages of  vd = 3.87, vd = 3.70 and vd = 3.46, respectively, indicating levels of dissatisfaction. Finally, were highlighted some criteria as motivators for avoid turnover in organizations that contribute to the job satisfaction of these employees.

The paper aims to examine the effect of job satisfaction on the levels of job performance and occupational commitment among academicians in the universities. A structured questionnaire was used as an instrument for data collection, with academic staff in the Kahramanmaras Sutcu Imam University as respondents. The results of regression analysis indicated that job satisfaction has a positive impact on job performance and occupational commitment.  Job satisfaction explains the 36.7 percent of job performance, and 48.0 percent of occupational commitment of academic staff. Additionally, occupational commitment has also a positive impact on job performance of academicians and explains 28.7 percent of their job performance. Academic administrators can provide a suitable organizational climate to increase the satisfaction level and thus, occupational commitment and job performance of the academic staff will increase. The results and recommendations in the paper will be of interest to all academic administrators and staff, not only for the Kahramanmaras Sutcu Imam University but also for the academic administrators in all universities.

Most of the research has been conducted in the job satisfaction of employees’ on employees job related outcomes but there is little well comprehensive research done that shows  the influence of HRM practices on the satisfaction of employees towards a job.This study is correlational type of research design which is aimed to describe or ascertain if there are significant associations between selected HRM practices and employees’ job satisfaction.In addition to Correlation and Regression, Descriptive statistics, frequencies and percentages were utilized to analyze the data. Interpretation is made on the mean, frequency, and percentage of the data and summarized by bar graphs and pie charts.The study result has implied that recruitment and selection is found to have moderate but positive correlation with employees’ job satisfaction and the remaining, training and development, performance appraisal and compensation package found to have strong positive correlation with employees’ job satisfaction. Moreover, the regression result shows that recruitment and selection, training and development, performance appraisal and compensation package have a significant positive impact on job satisfaction.Each HRM practices in the banks should be a source for employees’ satisfaction and then employees will be loyal and willing to stay in those organizations (Banks) because, employees’ satisfaction on the job will reduce absenteeism and turn over intentions in public banks.

Attainment of goals and objectives of every institute lies in the performance of human resources. Public sector institutions and the judiciary as well face the problem of lower-level performance. In today's dynamic and competitive atmosphere, every organization needs to satisfy their employees to attain the optimum level of their skills and competencies to accomplish the organizational goals and objectives. The present study aims to examine the influence of HRM Practices on job satisfaction with the mediating mechanism of HR outcomes and employee affective commitment. Data collected for this study in two-time spans with a stratified random sample of 203 (186 males and 17 females) ministerial employees (Admin Office Coordinator, Senior Office Coordinator, and Office Coordinator) of Lahore High Court (Principal-seat and allied-Benches) to test the hypothesis. Findings of the study unveiled that HRM practices positively influenced the employees' satisfaction level. Moreover, mediation of HR outcomes and employee affective commitment found between the relationship of HRMPs and employee job satisfaction.

Employees Satisfaction Analysis is done through various factors. Morality and its influence on efficiency is also a part of job satisfaction. Morality is a factor which impacts on all the aspects of work life. Transport corporation is a service organization with shift based employees, their morality and job satisfaction is done through the present research. The study aims to examine morality and job satisfaction of Tamilnadu state transport corporation employees. The researcher has drawn 50 employees working in Ambasamudramtaluk for the study. Data was collected with the help of a structured questionnaire and data was analyzed using statistical tools like percentage analysis, Mean score analysis and chi-square analysis.

Online shopping has significantly increased across the world in the last five years. In Bangladesh, right now, there are about 6,000active online sellers of non-food products with “Seller Rating”. During Covid-19 Pandemic, it became necessary to sell/buy online. In this regard, two important issues need to be examined properly in the context of Bangladesh. First, the overall level of satisfaction of customers with online shopping and the factors that determine the level of satisfaction of these customers. Accordingly, the paper measures the overall satisfaction level of these customers and identifies the factors that contribute to their overall satisfaction level. It also recommends what the sellers should do to make the overall situation a positive-sumgame. The paper is based on a survey of 1,560 online buyers of nonfood products with different socio-demographic, cultural, and other characteristics. The survey employed a structured questionnaire. A random sampling procedure has been followed in collecting the responses of the sample customers. The paper uses the Lexicographic Model with the relative importance of each factor. The paper finds that the overall satisfaction level of these online shoppers is 50.81% where the male customers are 43.35% satisfied and female customers are 62% satisfied in Dhaka City, Bangladesh. The paper finds nine important factors that contribute to overall satisfaction. Among them, the top three are the right product as promised, price (relative to offline price), and product description (visual and written).

This paper argues that the quality of life of citizens of a nation can also be amplified by the quality of life of health-related professionals who provide myriad necessary services across a wide range of care pathways and in various settings. The approach was both theoretical and empirical – review of literature and statistical analysis of the collated data. Thus, the study utilized factor analysis to determine the factors that bring about job satisfaction amongst health-related professionals. The findings point to a number of important job satisfaction as well as organizational climate dimensions, which combine to generate high levels of job satisfaction amongst health-related professionals. The paper concludes by serving some important directives for management of health establishments.
