Three groups (students, nonprofessionals, and professionals) of 24 subjects differing in age and education completed a 60-item spiral omnibus test and two criterion measures (Intellectual Efficiency scale and Life Attitude Profile). Half of the omnibus questions (based on general information, social judgement, and numerical ability) had been judged as tapping knowledge unrestricted to students or middle-aged adults not in school, and the other half were drawn from standardized intelligence tests. The three groups performed equally well on the new items but, on the conventional ones, the nonprofessionals obtained lower scores than the students or professionals. However, a multiple regression analysis showed that, although none of the items predicted Life Attitude Profile scores for any group, both types predicted intellectual efficiency scores for professionals and, contrary to expectation, conventional and unbiased ones predicted intellectual efficiency for nonprofessionals and students, respectively.

This study focuses on the evaluation of the tourist destination advertising effectiveness. The destination advertising response DAR model was used to analyze data on the effectiveness of destination promotional campaigns on visitor expenditure, in six trip facets: destination, accommodations, attractions, restaurants, events, and shopping. Independent sample t-tests were conducted to identify any differences in total destination spending among the groups of those visitors influenced for each trip facet. A multiple regression analysis was performed to discriminate the performance of the travel facets expenditures in the estimation of total expenditures. Significant results indicate that the “destination,” “accommodations,” and “restaurants” facets directly influence the total expenditures. Self-planners had the highest variance, explaining in total visitor expenditure compared to the regression analysis results of the other two groups (i.e. travel agencies and online travel agencies). The study also explores how destinations can improve their competitiveness on tourist advertising by using technologies.

This study aims to examine the effect of inflation, tax collection, and tax education on income tax revenue. This study uses report data documented from the Tampan subdistrict tax office in Pekanbaru and the Central Statistics Agency of Pekanbaru in the form of inflation data, billing activities, and tax counseling for 3 years (January 2017 - December 2019). Data were analyzed using Multiple Regression analysis. The results showed that inflation and tax counseling variables significantly influence income tax revenue. On the other hand, the tax collection variable has no significant effect on income tax revenue. This finding underlines the collection of income tax does not have a significant effect on income tax revenue is due to tax collection carried out on all people who have tax arrears. As a contribution that in the issuance of Tax Collection Letter (STP), the tax authorities can focus the issuance of STP to taxpayers who have large amounts of arrears, so that income tax revenue can increase faster. because more and more STPs issued to prove that tax collection activities may not be able to run effectively.

Objective — To establish significant associations between periodontium status, circadian blood pressure (BP) profile and cardiovascular risk factors in adolescents with high BP. Material and Methods — The cross-sectional study involved 113 adolescents (78 boys) aged 10 to 17 years, with a BP level (during repeated office measurements) of ≥95 percentile for age, height and sex, or ≥140/90 mmHg in adolescents older than 16 years. All adolescents were subjected to 24-hour blood pressure monitoring, anthropometric measurements, laboratory blood tests (lipids, uric acid, alanine aminotransferase, aspartate aminotransferase, fasting glucose), echocardiography (left ventricular myocardial mass index, relative wall thickness), assessment of the stage of puberty, dental examination (complex periodontal index (CPI), oral hygiene index). The association between the periodontium status and cardiovascular risk factors was assessed using univariant and multiple regression analysis, adjusted by sex, age, Tanner stage, body mass index, and oral hygiene index. Results — Clinical features of periodontitis were found in 32.7% of adolescents. Multiple regression analysis showed the presence of significant associations of CPI with the levels of systolic, mean and pulse BP during 24 hours (β=0.42, р=0.0001; β=0.31, р=0.003 and β=0.26, р=0.018, respectively), diastolic BP in the daytime (β=0.23, р=0.019), as well as the indices of load with high systolic BP within 24 hours (β=0.42, р=0.0001) and diastolic BP in the daytime (β=0.25, р=0.006). None of the other cardiovascular risk factors showed meaningful relationships with periodontium status in the multivariate analysis. Conclusion — The relationship between periodontium status and blood pressure level exists already in adolescence. That may, on the one hand, justify assessment of periodontium status and (if necessary) timely implementation of prophylactic measures in adolescents with high blood pressure and, on the other hand, recommend BP assessment in adolescents with diagnosed periodontitis.

‘Mental boundaries’ is a traditional concept in psychology, although attempts to conceptualize and measure such boundaries empirically have only recently been pursued. Two major efforts in this respect are Hartmann's Boundary Questionnaire and the Revised Transliminality Scale of Lange, Thalbourne, Houran, and Storm. We administered both along with the Briggs-Nebes Handedness Scale to a convenience sample of 268 participants to assess the convergent validity of the two boundary measures and to replicate previous evidence that the boundary construct involves body boundaries as well, such as a tendency toward mixed-handedness. As predicted, scores on the Revised Transliminality Scale correlated .66 positively with total scores on the Boundary Questionnaire, but neither measure was associated with the handedness scale. Each of the 12 domains of the Boundary Questionnaire correlated significantly with total scores on the Transliminality Scale, yet only five domains contributed significantly to the prediction of variance in transliminality scores in a standard multiple regression analysis. Analysis suggests that transliminality is related to specific domains of the Boundary Questionnaire, and we hypothesize that the other domains of the Boundary Questionnaire represent higher levels of the boundary construct than what is measured by the Revised Transliminality Scale. This idea is discussed within the context of Werner's 1948 theory of syncretic versus symbolic cognition.

This research is aiming to analyze the effect of several factors such as Pertamax price, Pertalite price, income, year of vehicle and vehicle type on Pertamax fuel demand in Purwokerto and analyze which one is the most influencial factors on the Pertamax fuel demand using elasticity test. The data used in this research are primary data taken from 100 respondents all around Purwokerto then analyzed using multiple regression analysis. The result of multiple regression analysis indicated that income and vehicle type have significant effect on Pertamax fuel demand in Purwokerto while the other factors such as Pertamax price, Pertalite price and year of vehicle have no influence on Pertamax demand in Purwokerto. This research also indicated that vehicle type was the most influencial factors on Pertamax demand. From all the result that has been found, the result of regression shows that people in Purwokerto have a tendency to keep putting the quality at any price level set by the government. In this case government have to further intensify massively on advertising on good impact of Pertamax either for machine or environment and expected to improve better performance and quality either in terms of services on each gas station or oil distribution. Keywords: Demand, Pertamax Fuel, Gasoline Demand.
