Abstract Although gender gap in the field of entrepreneurship is slowly decreasing globally and there is a consensus about the vital role of female entrepreneurs in the economy, the ratio of female entrepreneurs remains still below that of the male. Empirical research conducted by HETFA Research Institute reveals important findings regarding the situation, challenges, and strategies of female entrepreneurs. Among others, there are some particular themes and features which are more apparent in the case of female entrepreneurs than in that of men such as the lack of self-confidence, lower level of motivation, lack of a supporting environment, lower level of self-assessment as well as greater frequency of solo entrepreneurship, and working part time. As for starting and maintaining a business, entrepreneurship-related skills, knowledge, and mindset, opportunities for networking, support from peers as well as supportive environment are among the highly esteemed factors by female entrepreneurs already in business. This is what the project ifempower aimed to address by not only developing a university curriculum and innovative teaching material but backing them with a mentorship programme and an intensive training programme. ifempower was built on a complex approach with special emphasis given to the development of soft and hard skills, entrepreneurial mindset, networking skills, and supporting female students as potential entrepreneurs in meeting their aims. By piloting the activities in partner countries and then incorporating the lessons learnt into the project outputs, the project placed significant focus on ensuring their uptake by other entities in the higher education sector and beyond.

 Microteaching is one of the most recent innovations in teacher training programme. It is used as a professional developmental tool for pre-service or in-service teacher training courses. Microteaching seems a good technique to train trainee teachers, when he/she has to perform his/her teaching either in practice or real life. The objective of this research was to explore perspective of trainee teachers towards microteaching. The sample size of the study consisted of 40 trainee teachers of B.Ed. from Prithvi Narayan campus, Pokhara. The informants were selected purposively. By taking their consent, I visited the school and distributed the questionnaire, where the student-teachers were practising in practice teaching. A set of close-ended questionnaire was used as the data collection tool. The data were presented in percentage and analyzed and interpreted descriptively. The results reveal that microteaching plays a vital role to improve the trainee teachers’ pedagogical skills, competencies, build self-confidence, make positive attitudes towards teaching life by limited sources and within minimum available facilities, provide valuable teaching experiences, and make them aware of the benefits. Further, microteaching deals with the emerging challenges that will happen in the real teaching career of the trainee teachers. All the respondents put their positive perspectives on microteaching although microteaching is not seriously taken by the practitioners. This study implies that microteaching is necessary for trainee teachers to prepare themselves in a better way for upcoming teaching career.

For reliable blood pressure measurement, various potential sources of inaccuracies need to be considered to avoid incorrect decision-making. Pharmacy students should be sensitized and taught the skill accordingly. One strategy to teach students’ blood pressure measurement skills might be through a blended learning approach in a flipped classroom-like setting. With a randomized two-arm study among pharmacy students in their eighth semester, the required extent of in-class session in the scope of a blended learning approach in a flipped classroom-like setting was evaluated. Participants’ self-confidence and self-perceived proficiency were evaluated through a survey, and participants’ blood pressure measurement performance was assessed by objective structured clinical examination (OSCE). Participants’ satisfaction with, and perception of, the flipped classroom were also surveyed. The extended in-class activities did not result in a significantly higher increase of participants’ OSCE score and self-assessment score when compared to the brief in-class session. Both in-class sessions yielded a significant increase in the OSCE scores as well as in the self-assessment scores. Moreover, the teaching approaches were predominantly well-received by the students. The use of both flipped classroom-like approaches improved pharmacy students’ blood pressure measurement performance, though the brief in-class session was sufficient. Students’ self-confidence/self-perceived proficiency in blood pressure measurement skills increased similarly in both settings.

Physical activity is a basic factor of human development – it brings satisfaction, vitality, energy, has a therapeutic dimension and affects the quality of life. Among the large group of amateur athletes, there are people vulnerable to social exclusions related to disabilities, psychological dysfunctions, sex and social status. For these people sport is a cure for loneliness and lack of self-confidence, as well as it positively affects their motivation to overcome barriers, which is reflected in other spheres of their lives. One sport that in particular integrates different social groups is running, as confirmed by the growing number of amateur runners, training activities dedicated to them and running events organised for them. However, it is important that organisers of such events ensure the safety of participants and take care of their satisfaction and comfort by holistic planning of all organisational activities. The study hypothesised that factors concerning the safety, comfort and satisfaction of participants play a vital role in organising running events. The aim of the article was to identify and assess the risk of organising running competitions for amateurs in the context of ensuring safety and satisfaction for all participants of the event. In particular, the author noted the risk factors of a social nature, conducive to integration, associated with countering exclusions. The paper presents test results for national competitions involving 21 and 42 km runs. The identification of risk factors was performed by 10 experts (the Delphi method) and 27 representatives of 7 running events organised in Poland (2017–2018) (risk estimate, a questionnaire) took part in the risk estimation. Risk estimation was carried out on the basis of average (effect and probability). The results of the study provide unequivocal information about the spheres of organising sporting events which in the highest degree can affect the safety and comfort of their participants and the perception of the competition itself. Among the key risks there were: inadequate financial and organisational resources, route capacity, or technical problems. Moreover, the paper includes an attempt to discuss results of other research.

Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) competences have been widely discussed over the past decade. A number of frameworks have been developed, and the Erasmus+ Project “A Rounder Sense of Purpose” (RSP) set out to establish a profound and practical framework of competences to be used in any European context to enable in-service and pre-service educators to demonstrate their competence in ESD. Over the course of two years at the University of Vechta, staff training was provided using the RSP competences model as a guiding framework. Data were collected through a focus group and a self-assessment survey in order to answer the research question, “Which competences do university teachers need in order to work with the concept of ESD in higher education and how can these be developed in a series of staff training workshops?” The results show that all 12 RSP competences are indeed relevant for higher education teaching, but the potential for developing them into a staff training programme is limited. There are multiple trigger points and settings that are beneficial to and necessary for the development of ESD competences. If those conditions are not met there is limited opportunity for applying ESD methods within higher education.

Many studies assume that the professionalism of teachers is influenced by his personality. Personality is a psychological characteristic that contributes to learning outcomes and academic achievement. However, research that proves this assumption is limited in the domain of Christian teachers as part of teachers inIndonesia. This study aims to analyze the correlation between teachers’ personality and professionalism obtained through questionnaires and interviews. The analysis was carried out on 16 Christian teachers participated who were attending the Postgraduate Program in "Educational Professional Development" instruction. The results of the correlation test using the SPSS Version 21 program showed that Sig. (2-tailed) = 0.042 <0.05. It concluded that there is a positive correlation between the personality and professionalism of Christian teachers. Qualitative analysis is discovered that the teachers' personality is in the criteria of good and very good, as well as their professionality. The lowest percentage of personality is on the positive self-concept indicator (62.9%) with good criteria, whereas professionality is on the self-confidence indicator (64.5%) with good criteria. The results of interviews as the self-assessment be discovered that Christian teachers with high performance are 18.75%; the adjusted teachers are 43.75%; the teachers hopeless are 43.75%, and not giving answering by 25%. It was concluded that assumptions about teachers’ personality and professionalism have a proven correlation for Christian teachers participated. Therefore, to improve professionalism as an Indonesian teachers’ competence, it has to develop the personality of Christian teachers sustainable. The personality of the Christian teachers is an entity of Christ's character and professionalism is the existence of ability, attitude, and skills based on common sense. The researcher argues that toward a superior Indonesia is marked by teachers who excel in professionalism and personality.

Background: The prevalence of depression in Pakistan is considered to be higher than other developing countries. Medication adherence is a major factor in the success and cost effectiveness of the treatment of depression. Limited information relating medication adherence and its factor are available for patients in Pakistan. Objective: The study aim to determine the factors associated with adherence of antidepressants in depressed patients. Methods: The study was conducted in outpatient setting of hospital. 200 participants were enrolled in the study. Self-assessment tool was used to determine the medication adherence. Results: The results showed that factors such as gender, education, employment and total number of medications have significant influence on adherence of antidepressants. The study also shows that the relationship of factors and adherence changes with the duration of therapy. Conclusion: Factors play a vital role in understanding the barriers in medication non-adherence. Factors effecting medication adherence change with respect to the duration of therapy. Gender, employment, morbidity and number of medications taken earlier have significant influence on medication adherence of antidepressants in depressed patients.

The human body is made up of five elements such as akash, air, fire, water and earth. An air plays a very important role to survive by providing life energy. Everyday practice of pranayama would help in regulating respiratory system (Breathing exercise) as well as circulatory system. The physical exercises regulate the circulation of blood, heat, air in the body. The practice of asana would help in bringing flexibility in our muscular system so as to enhance the meditation process. The practice of meditation gives peace of mind and improves integirity. The practice of yoga will improve self-confidence, self-control, speaking truth, tolerance and social virtues. Each and every individual should practice yoga, asanas, meditation and do self-analysis exercises such as analysis of thoughts, moralisation of desires, nutralisation of anger and eradication of worries. This article aims to explore the reinforcement of confidence through dreams book. In the early condition, the students have low self-confidence. To increase theself-confidence of the students, the teacher begins to explore the dreams of the students and make the students realize their dreams through dreams book. Through qualitative descriptive, this research described how to implement dreams book in the learning process. The teacher asked the students to make simple book consisted of four pages. As the evaluation, the teacher used some assessments, such as observation, self-assessment, and friend assessment. The teacher asked the student to fill out the sheet of self-assessment rubric and friend assessment rubric. For the observation, the teacher made observation rubric. From the result of this evaluation, the teacher concluded that self-confidence of the students showed improvement. As much as 34% and 36% of students obtain score 3 and 4, respectively. Therefore, the students who get a score above the KKM (Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal) is 80%. It means that the score in every indicator of self-confidence showed improvement.Keywords: Self-confidence, dreams book

In the economy in Indonesia alone taxes have a very vital role. Indonesia itself adheres to the self assessment system, this opens a gap for taxpayers to act dishonestly. Therefore the Directorate General of Taxes is obliged to carry out administrative supervision as well as through tax audits. The purpose of the tax audit is to test compliance with the obligations of taxpayers. The research method used was descriptive research based on SP2 and SKP data from Manado Primary Tax Office. Based on three years, namely from 2014, 2015, and 2016 the percentage level of SP2 examination effectiveness is always on a very effective criterion, but in the next two years, from 2017 and 2018, the percentage level of SP2 examination effectiveness has decreased which is in the less effective criteria. Based on SKP data for the past 5 years, the level of acceptance has not been effective because it has reached the set target.Keywords : Effectiveness, Tax Audit, Tax Revenue

The present questionnaire-based study examines the outcomes of project-based learning procedures in Greek University postgraduate classes, where the project entitled “Traffic Signs” takes place. Master in Education students at Harokopio University provided relevant information by answering a set of close-ended questions specifically designed for the research. Data elaboration and statistical analysis were performed. The results of the study showed that, according to MEd students, the teachers’ role during the carrying-out of the project remains crucial, since s/he establishes the rules of communication, defines the objectives, simplifies the learning material and intervenes in a supportive way to strengthen students’ cognitive background and self-confidence, to overcome setbacks and facilitate constructive cooperation. The research also showed that as long as projects’ implementation during postgraduate studies are well-designed, attractive and demanding regarding high-ranked cognitive and socio-affective abilities, they meet satisfactorily students’ academic needs and expectations and refresh, deepen and expand the positive outcomes of the learning procedure even in scientific domains where very often University teachers tend to avoid the use of more innovative teaching methods.
