Abstract The quality of manufactured products itself has long been playing significant role in nowadays business as well as in customers satisfaction with all kinds of products and services provided. Since all of us face to the poor quality results on daily basis, it is necessary to deploy an appropriate set of quality tools in order to improve the total quality level. The quality level of supplied parts in terms of the product quality including the design, development, and manufacturing process has significantly been influencing the quality results of serial production. The contemporary business philosophy for supplier's selection uses merely the only criterion, the lowest price. The article describes some problems stemming from this philosophy and practice, determines a systemic approach and proposes a solution in order to improve supplier's reliability in terms of quality of supplied parts and customer satisfaction.

The article evaluated the control of Stencil in the subprocess of Printing of the SMD line of a company located in the Industrial Pole of Manaus (PIM), to provide subsidies to develop a computerized system. With computerization, the focus of employees will be directed to the activities of production and quality of manufactured products, also, the collection of process data, done in real-time, will allow managers to better monitor and take actions in the process. To this end, a case study, bibliographic research of articles, dissertations, and theses involving the theme, and documentary research (forms, records, etc.) with the sectors involved were used. The descriptive statistics method was applied, quality tools were used, aimed at identifying and solving problems such as PDCA, Pareto, Ishikawa Diagram, flow chart, and 5W2H. A study of the activities related to the control of the Stencil was carried out, of the documentation used in the process, as well as of the factors and causes related to the effective Stencil control. Among the results, 24 causes affect the performance of the Stencil control, concluding that the main failures were human, due to the prioritization of production goals by the employees, leaving the other activities in the background, which is why the 24 guidelines proposed for the computerization of this process become relevant, some of which are: defining means to identify each Stencil using a bar code or QR code; do not allow the use of the Stencil if one of the activities unfinished in the process; stop production when an activity is not performed; digitize the documents used in this process; create an automatic notification to those responsible, when an action is necessary, etc.

Cowhide is the outermost part of beef that can be used in the product process, namely the finished skin in the production of household needs. The purpose of this study is to provide convenience in determining the quality of cowhide in household production needs. The data processed in this study were 6 alternatives. Cowhide quality data obtained at the UPDT Leather Processing Padang Panjang. There are several types of cowhide which have good, medium and poor quality levels. Furthermore, the data is processed manually using the Analytical Hierarchy Process method and continued by using the super software decisions as testing. The processing stage is to determine the weight of each criterion, provide an assessment (pair-wire comparation), summarize all the results of the assessment (overall composite weight). The results of the data processing are continued by calculating the level of accuracy. The result of the test on this method is that 98% of the cowhide has quality with vegetable cowhide based on the quality level of the given criteria. The testing decision making system has been able to identify the specific quality of cowhide. Through the Analytical Hierarchy Process method, the level of accuracy can be quite accurate and can help producers improve accuracy in identifying the quality of cowhide in household production needs.

Currently, many graduate students who can’t be absorbed by the world of work or labor market because of poor quality. It is caused by several factors such as students as learners, lecturer as a teacher, and the campus as a connector between the institution or any of its faculty and students to students and faculty facilities. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of student discipline in implementing the guidance of the thesis as well as to determine the influence of PO coach and PO testers on the level of quality of graduation. This study uses a quantitative approach with descriptive correlational survey method. The sample collection technique is based on the calculation formula Slovin as many as 61 people. Data was collected using questionnaires and documentation. Analyzed using descriptive statistics and statistical analysis iferensial. Data processing using SPSS. Results of the study showed that the better the level of completion of Objective Assessment Supervisor, the better the quality level graduation because the value received will better the automatic IPK and also rose. However, the better the level of completion of Objective Assessment Examiners, will not affect the level of quality of the graduation.

Hydraulic head, gradient, hydraulic conductivity, transmissivity, and storativity are input data that should be collected according to applicable codes and standards. These must be defined without ambiguity, and they must be mutually compatible. Feasibility studies and the design of facilities are based on these data. A firm providing professional services in hydrogeology can improve quality in this area only by examining the reasons for poor quality: the reasons are not found in standards or codes. This paper provides examples to illustrate variou aspects of the work to be done to control the quality of groundwater seepage parameters. The paper has a narrow focus within the context of total quality management. Key words : groundwater, parameters, quality control.

There has been an increasing drive to improve total quality management of manufactured products internationally in recent years. This has resulted in many improvements in the quality and management of quality in New Zealand firms. Research was carried out in New Zealand to compare the opinions of manufacturing company managers about product quality with general public opinions. Probes perceptions of recent changes in product quality and compares the quality of New Zealand made goods with the quality of those made overseas. Most managers and consumers agreed that the quality of New Zealand made goods is now better than most overseas made goods. Shows a great improvement in the public perception of New Zealand made goods in recent years. Managers are still much stronger than consumers in their belief in local made high quality, which may have resulted in some complacency regarding management of product quality.

Methods of the electrical energy (EE) with the required quality provision in conditions of limited financial opportunities in the power supplying companies (PSC) are being discussed considering the foreign countries experience. It is proposed to develop and apply tariffs differentiated by the degree of EE reliability and quality, in compliance with the EE quality required for definite consumers. As a result, both consumers and PSC may get the best of tariffs application differentiated by the quality level. Consumers with power receiving appliances not demanding the high quality of EE will gain profit from payment reduction, whereas the consumers with power receiving appliances demanding the high quality of EE – from successful operation of electrical appliances, increase of their operating time and high quality of manufactured products provision. PSC acquire incentives for EE quality management upon the consumers’ request, as well as opportunities of more efficient use of financial resources directed at different quality EE provision to the consumer.

The research aims to identify the best way to evaluate the final product quality level, and through the comparison between the results of the value of demerits by using demerit system that depending on quadrant classification accredited by the researchers for defects with the method that used at the factory, that depending on three-classification of defects, and used cause and effect Diagram on the defects of the category (A) to identify the main and Secondary reasons that occurrence of this defect, Use the method case study to reach the goals of the research and was selected factory of transformers and household appliances Which represents the one of the formations of the General company for Electronic Industries spatial limits of the study, as were selected reflective product sample for the application of this study as it consists of 87 part which increases the probability of the emergence defects that different influence the reflective product quality, Search results showed that the use of demerit system, which depends on the quad classification for defects, that will lead to a devaluation of demerit value and thus improve the quality product reflective, In addition to identifying the main reasons and secondary that lead to emergence defects of class (A), It was identified four causes is (Touching the wires of body, Presence scratch in the connecting wires, Poor quality of connecting wires, A defect in the insulation material).
