Objective – This study aims to determine the effect of the application of SAK-ETAP, internal control systems, and cooperative management capacity on business development in cooperatives in Banda Aceh.Design/methodology – This study uses hypothesis testing. The sample of this study was selected using purposive sampling. The total number of observations obtained was 102 cooperatives in accordance with the sample criteria with 473 observational data. The type of data used was secondary data with data collection techniques through questionnaires. The data analysis technique used is the validity test, the reliability test, the classic assumption test, the multiple regression analysis tests.Results – The test results show that the adoption of SAK-ETAP affects business development in cooperatives, internal control systems affect business development in cooperatives, cooperative management capacity influences business development in cooperatives.

The purpose of this research is to analyze the factors that cause the occurrence of fraud in PD BPR Bank Dearah X which is one of the regional owned enterprises of Local Government X and identify the steps ways of fraud prevention which is effective in PD BPR Bank Daerah X. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study. This study uses the primary data and secondary data. This research uses many data collection techniques by conducting an interview, an observation and a documentation. The results show that the factors that cause the occurrence of fraud in PD BPR Bank Daerah X can be classified into four, namely: (1) the pressure that comes from the external and internal influence, (2) an opportunity or a chance due to the weakness of internal control systems owned by BPR , sanctions are not strict enough for the wrongdoers of fraud, and misuse of authority committed by directors, (3) rationalization, and (4) collusion. The ways of fraud prevention which are done by the management of PD BPR Bank Daerah X and based on the results of interviews conducted by the researchers, can be identified as follows: (1) An improvement of the internal control system in PD BPR Bank Daerah X, (2) An implementation of policy of know your employee (KYE) as an effort of fraud prevention by controlling the aspects of human resources (HR); (3) A creation of a special line of fraud reporting policy;and (4) An establishment of policies and sanction procedures. This research is aim to determine the effect of internal control system, fraud diamond, and whistleblowingsystem on larceny at BPK RI. Research data was obtained through questionnaires distributed torespondent, the employees in the work unit of General Bureau, IT Bureau, Human Resources Bureau and Leaders Secretariat Bureau BPK RI. So as many as 105 samples collected. This research used quantitative analysis technique with Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) processed with Amos 23. The test results showed : 1) Internal control system variable has  positive and significant influence on whistleblowingsystem, 2) fraud diamond variable has not significant influence on whistleblowingsystem, 3) whistleblowingsystem variable has negative and significant influence on larceny, 4) internal control system variable has not significant influence on larceny, 5) fraud diamond variable has positive and significant influence on larceny. Therefore, the whistleblowingsystem mediation effect of the internal control system influence on larceny is perfectly significant. While the effect of fraud diamond on larceny is not proven to mediate.

This study aims to determine the effect of village apparatus competence, internal control systems and religiosity on fraud prevention in the village fund management with morality as a moderating variable. This study uses a survey method with a questionnaire. The population consists of all village officials in Sidoarjo Regency. The sample was taken using a proportionate stratified random sampling, and finally 76 villages were obtained with the category of developed villages, developing villages, underdeveloped villages, and very underdeveloped villages. The data analysis technique used in this study is PLS-SEM using Smart-PLS 3.0 software. The results of this study prove that village apparatus competence has an effect on fraud prevention in village fund management, internal control system has no effect on fraud prevention in village fund management, and religiosity has an effect on fraud prevention in village fund management.Morality is not able to moderate the influence of village apparatus competence, internal control system and religiosity on fraud prevention.

This research is a causality study with the title "Effect of Government Internal Control Systems and Employee Competence on the Performance of Government Agencies in Karimun Regency." The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the implementation of the Government's Internal Control System on the performance of Karimun Regency government agencies and to determine the effect of employee competence on the performance of Karimun Regency government agencies. Data collection using a questionnaire where the questionnaire contained questions about the Government's Internal Control System, employee competencies and agency performance. Data were tested using multiple linear regression statistical tests. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the governmental internal control system has a significant positive effect on Government Agency Performance with the results of statistical tests that show a sig value of 0.016 <0.05 (alpha 5%). Employee Competency has a significant positive effect on Government Performance with the results of statistical tests showing a sig value of 0,000.

A cooperative is a governmental organization established to enhance economic growth and national unity. As the development of the law on cooperatives, the present and developing institutions similar to Savings and Loan Union is called Credit Union. A cooperative is very vulnerable to the risk of loss. Insecurity is possible because of the tendency of accounting fraud. Some things that can affect the tendency of accounting fraud are internal control, compliance compensation, and information asymmetry. This research aims to determine whether there is any influence of internal control system effectiveness, compensation compliance, and information asymmetry on the tendency of accounting fraud. The research uses the quantitative method, and the research subject is Sehati Credit Union. The research data consist of primary and secondary data, especially the purposive sampling data which are collected from 36 respondents. Whereas, the data analysis technique uses multiple regression analysis using SPSS 21 software for Windows. The research concludes that the effectiveness of internal control system has a partially positive significant influence on the tendency of accounting fraud, compensation compliance has a partially negative significant influence on the tendency of accounting fraud, and information asymmetry has a partially positive significant influence on the tendency of accounting fraud. It means that the effectiveness of the internal control system, compensation compliance, and the information asymmetry have significant influences on the tendency of accounting fraud. Penelitian ini menguji efektifitas sistem pengendalian intern, dukungan manajemen dan audit professionalism terhadap keefektifan audit internal. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 39 Inspektorat Daerah dari enam Provinsi. Penelitian ini menggunakan regresi berganda untuk menganalisis data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem pengendalian intern dan dukungan manajemen berpengaruh secara positif terhadap keefektifan audit internal. Penelitian ini gagal memberikan bukti empiris audit professionalism berpengaruh terhadap keefektifan1 audit internal. Penelitian ini memperkaya penelitian yang sudah ada terkait keefektifan audit internal dan penekanan pentingnya sistem pengendalian intern di pemerintah daerah.This study examined the effectiveness of internal control system, management support, and audit professionalism on internal audit effectiveness of local government. The sample consists of 39 regional inspectorates of six provinces in Indonesia. By using multiple regressions, this study found that internal control system and management support has positive impact on the effectiveness of the internal audit. However, there is no support for the audit professionalism on internal audit effectiveness. This study enriches existing research related to the effectiveness of the internal audit and emphasis the importance of internal control systems in local government.

Internal control systems are needed for every government agency from planning, supervision, to accountability, must be carried out in an orderly, controlled, efficient and effective. So that the performance of government agencies is directed and reaches the goal. This study aims to determine whether the implementation of the internal control system on the performance and retribution parking income at the Manado city transportation office is adequate or inadequate. This research method is a qualitative descriptive study. Based on the results of the research and discussion, it can be seen that the internal control system on the performance and retribution  parking income at Transportation department of at Manado city has been "adequate and effective" because the procedure for retribution parking income have elements of internal control, namely the proper delegation of authority and responsibility. the separation of functions, recording carried out accurately and on time, the documents used contain clear and reliable information and are carried out continuously. The target achievement of the 2016-2017  is effective and the performance had been in accordance with government regulation number 60 of 2008 concerning the government's internal control system.Keywords: Government Internal Control System, Performance, Income Parking Retribution

<em>Internal control is a process carried out by the company to provide adequate guarantees for achieving control objectives. The objective of this Research is to find out the current internal control system that is applied at PT Pegadaian (Persero) Kaliwungu Branch Service in the process of granting credit. The next objective is to identify whether the components of internal control applied are according to COSO. The data used are qualitative data, primary data, and secondary data. The methods of collecting data are interview, observation, and questionnaire. For writing the Research uses descriptive and exposition methods. There are five components of internal control according to the Committee of Sponsoring Organization (COSO), they are Control Environment, Risk Assessment, Control Activities, Information and Communication, and Monitoring. The results of the discussion in the Research shows that the application of the internal control system for granting credit at PT Pegadaian (Persero) Kaliwungu Branch Service is in accordance with COSO internal control component, but the Control Environment and Control Activities has not been fully implemented.</em>

This study aims to examine the effect of human resource competence, government internal control system and the use of information technology on the quality of financial statements of Central Bureau of Statistics in the Maluku Region.The population in this study are employees who handle accounting / financial reports on all accounting entities within the Central Bureau of Statistics in the Maluku Region.The research sample is the financial statements stylist includes PPK , PPSPM, financial staff, equipment, program development (planning) or administration as well as employees in the technical field who make financial reports. The data analyzed are primary data obtained through questionnaires. Total questionnaires distributed amounted to 57 and processed as many as 50 questionnaires (87.72%). The analytical method used is the multiple regression analysis method.Hypothesis testing results indicate that the competence of human resources and government internal control systems has a positive and significant effect on the quality of financial statements while the use of information technology has no effect on the quality of financial statements.

Faced with the risk of consecutive waves of financial crisis and economic recession, government committees, financial supervision authorities and financial institutions themselves – both in Poland and worldwide – have launched a number of measures to make the supervision of insurance sector institutions more effective, particularly in aspects related to efficient risk management and internal control. The article describes the impact of the amendment of laws and other regulations on the development of the present internal control systems in insurance sector institutions. It draws attention to the need for a new structure of the internal control system, and the role and purpose of the internal audit and the audit committee as the bodies supporting effective supervision in insurance undertakings and reinsurance undertakings.
