WFE nexus is an important aspect in building sustainable economies. Water is used in food production while water supply and food processing require energy. Understanding the interrelationships of the nexus components is a growing interest for researchers and policymakers towards sustainable development. This chapter analyses the in-depth meaning of the WFE nexus, its importance, and its involved processes. The chapter also evaluates the effects of climate change on the nexus using case examples in South Africa. It also proposes a road map to facilitate better management of the nexus by recommending useful action plans. These action plans prioritize on baseline data collection, optimization of WFE nexus processes and cooperative management of resources, and climate change adaptation.

Cooperation among employees is one of the main determinants of a successful business because people are the main protagonists of cooperative management. Therefore, organizations have to give more attention to establish a cooperative management. This study examines the impact of people in cooperation on cooperative management. The research also included recommendations for organization managers, as well as a theoretical basis of cooperative management and people in cooperation, based on a management model developed by Mondragon Cooperation. The SMART PLS3 was used to analyze data collected through the distribution of questioners to employees and academic staff at two private universities in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. Researchers believe that the presence of integral development and cooperative leadership helps in the implementation of cooperative management by the staff. However, organizations are recommended to strengthening the power of staff and allowing them to practice the role of managing, as well as, being authorized at a certain level in order to increase cooperative conduct between employees and management in terms of organizational management concerns.

This study aims to analyze the implementation of SAK ETAP in the presentation of the cooperative's financial statements according to the Regulation of the Minister of KUKM RI No. 13/Per/M.KUKM/IX/2015 on the Cooperative of CU Bina Kasih P. Siantar. This study also aims to see the appearance of the financial statements presented by the CU Bina Kasih Cooperative P. Siantar. This study also aims to look at the presentation’s forms of financial statements presented by the Cooperative of CU Bina Kasih P. Siantar. The data collection technique in this study was by observing the technique of presenting financial statements at the Cooperative of CU Bina Kasih, then conducting interviews with the Cooperative Management, and obtaining documentation sourced from the Annual Financial Reports of the CU Bina Kasih Cooperative. The results of the study show that: (1) The Cooperative of CU Bina Kasih has not presented financial statements based on SAK ETAP according to the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia KUKM No. 13/Per/M.KUKM/IX/2015, (2) The components of the financial statements presented by the CU Bina Kasih P.Siantar Kopdit are only in the form of a Balance Sheet and Calculation of Remaining Operating Results and an Explanation of the Balance Sheet, and (3) Presentation of assets, liabilities, equity, income, and expenses by CU Bina Kasih Cooperative have not been presented based on their characteristics.

The Women's Cooperative "Arwana" which is a legal entity No.: 99/BH/DK PPKM/KEP/IX.4/2008 is a savings and loan cooperative having its address at Jl. Wren Rt. 17/Rw.06 Cempaka Permai Village, Gading Cempaka District, Bengkulu City. This cooperative was established by notarial deed SK. Minister of Law and Human Rights of the Republic of Indonesia Number: C-226.HT.03.01. July 5, 2006 and started operating in 2008. In 2019 this cooperative began to turn into a sharia-based cooperative. This community service activity aims to provide understanding assistance to administrators and members in terms of management as an effort towards better management from conventional to Sharia. So it is hoped that later the management and members of the cooperative in carrying out their duties and responsibilities in accordance with the principles and rules of management can become a financing system in accordance with the sharia concept. This community service is carried out with lectures on the principles of cooperative management. The output of this community service activity is that the management and members of the cooperative, especially in the savings and loan business, are able to know and understand and implement financing business activities with a management system according to SAK ETAP as a step towards developing a financing business that is still using the conventional system to be more ready to use the system. Sharia. The output of this community service is in the form of a scientific journal that will be published.

This article addresses cooperativism in the context of family farming, based on the experience of the Cooperativa Mista de Agricultores Familiares do Vale do Ipanema (COOPANEMA) based in the municipality of Águas Belas, Pernambuco, Brazil. This is a reflection on the importance of COOPANEMA for local social and economic development. We used qualitative and descriptive methodology supported by case studies, interviews, and documentary and bibliographic surveys. The cooperative maintains a participative management, with good administrative quality, thanks to its specialized accounting, technical and legal assistance. We conclude that COOPANEMA is a socially consolidated institution, regarded as a reference in cooperative management, acting in the execution of actions and occupying seats in forums, municipal and regional public policy councils, thus contributing to local development.

This study aims to obtain an overview of the evaluation of the Kirkpatrik model level 1 and 2 in the implementation of the Sharia Financial Report Preparation Training for Cooperative Management. The research method used is descriptive quantitative. This study took a population of 30 participants of the Financial Report Preparation Training for Cooperative Management in Pasuruan Regency which was carried out by the East Java Province Cooperative and SME Training UPT. Level 1 evaluation (reaction) in this study was obtained by filling out a questionnaire with a Likert scale of 1 (one) to 5 (five) and level 2 evaluation (learning) was obtained by conducting pre-test at the beginning and post-test and at the end of the training. The results of the Kirkpatrik level 1 evaluation (reaction) describe the satisfaction (positive reaction) of the participants towards the implementation of the training. While the results of the level 2 evaluation (learning), there was an increase in knowledge about the material for preparing financial reports for cooperative management. An increase in post-test scores indicates an increase in the knowledge and skills of the trainees and is the success of the learning process ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan gambaran tentang evaluasi model Kirkpatrik level 1 dan 2 pada pelaksanaan Pelatihan Penyusunan Laporan Keuangan Syariah bagi Pengurus Koperasi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Penelitian ini mengambil populasi peserta Pelatihan Penyusunan Laporan Keuangan bagi Pengurus Koperasi di Kabupaten Pasuruan yang di laksanakan oleh UPT Pelatihan Koperasi dan UKM Provinsi Jawa Timur sejumlah 30 orang. Evaluasi level 1 (reaksi) dalam penelitian ini didapat dengan melakukan pengisian kuisioner dengan skala Likert 1 (satu) sampai 5 (lima) dan evaluasi level 2 (pembelajaran) diperoleh dengan melakukan pre- test pada awal dan post- tes dan akhir pelatihan. Hasil evaluasi Kirkpatrik level 1 (reaksi) mengambarkan kepuasan (reaksi positif) dari peserta terhadap pelaksanaan pelatihan. Sedangkan hasil dari evaluasi level 2 (pembelajaran), terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan tentang materi penyusunan laporan keuangan bagi pengurus koperasi. Adanya peningkatan nilai post-test menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan dan skill dari peserta pelatihan dan merupakan keberhasilan dari proses pembelajaran

This study aims to analyze the Effect of Training on Cooperative Management Competence by Utilizing SIJAWARA E-Learning as an Intervening Variable at the East Java Province Cooperatives and SMEs Training Unit. Learning SIJAWARA. Sampling using the census sampling method, that is, all populations are used as research samples. The data collection technique used a questionnaire with a Likert scale of 1 (one) to 4 (four). Data processing using SPSS version 24 program with descriptive quantitative analysis approach and inferential quantitative analysis. The results of data analysis show that the training carried out by the East Java Province Cooperative and SME Training UPT, SIJAWARA E-Learning Utilization, and Cooperative Management Competence, namely training has a significant effect on the competence of cooperative management, as well as that SIJAWARA E-Learning Utilization can function as an intervening variable between variable of training and variable of competence of cooperative management in UPT Cooperative and UKM Training East Java Province. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis Pengaruh Pelatihan terhadap Kompetensi Pengurus Koperasi dengan Pemanfaatan E-Learning SIJAWARA sebagai Variabel Intervening di UPT Pelatihan Koperasi dan UKM Provinsi Jawa Timur, Populasi dalam penelitian adalah pengurus koperasi yang pernah mengikuti pelatihan dengan metode tatap muka dan pelatihan yang memanfaatan E-Learning SIJAWARA. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode sensus sampling yaitu semua populasi dijadikan sampel penelitian. Teknik pengambilan data menggunakan kuisioner dengan skala Likert 1 (satu) sampai 4 (empat). Pengolahan data menggunakan program SPSS versi 24 dengan pendekatan analisa kuantitatif deskriptif dan analisis kuantitatif inferensial. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa Pelatihan yang dilaksanakan UPT Pelatihan Koperasi dan UKM Provinsi Jawa Timur, Pemanfaatan E-Learning SIJAWARA, dan Kompetensi Pengurus Koperasi yaitu pelatihan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kompetensi pengurus koperasi, demikian juga bahwa Pemanfaatan E-Learning SIJAWARA dapat berfungsi sebagai variabel intervening antara variabel pelatihan dan variabel kompetensi pengurus koperasi di UPT Pelatihan Koperasi dan UKM Provinsi Jawa Timur.

This research aims to analyze income farming of cooperative members and added value of processed products of coffee at cooperative Agro Panca Bhakti. This research was purposively conducted at Cooperative Agro Panca Bhakti, Sekincau, West Lampung Regency from May to July 2018 with 34 respondents cooperative members and 4 respondents cooperative management. The data of this research were collected by using case study method and were analyzed descriptively by income farming analysis and value added method by Hayami. The results of this research showed that the average of income based on total cost per year received by cooperative members was Rp11.012.188,82 per hectare. Processed products of coffee at cooperative Agro Panca Bhakti was viable development because it has positive added value.Keywords : coffee, income farming, value added
