This study aims to (1) To determine the effect of intellectual capital on the profitability of Islamic commercial banks, (2) To determine the effect of company size on the profitability of Islamic commercial banks. (3) To determine the effect of intellectual capital and company size together on the profitability of a Sharia Commercial Bank. The population in this study were 14 Islamic commercial banks in Indonesia. The sampling technique in this study used purposive sampling technique. This study is a study that uses secondary data for research. Secondary data in the form of annual reports and financial reports obtained on the website of each Islamic commercial bank. The conclusions resulting from this study are (1) Intellectual capital affects the profitability of Islamic commercial banks, (2) Firm size influences the profitability of Islamic commercial banks, (3) Intellectual capital and company size together influence profitability.

The purpose of the research is to analyze the effect of Intellectual Capital, Company Size, and Ownership Structure, namely managerial ownership and institusional ownership toward company performance. This research used samples from manufacturing companies that listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during 2012-2015. Based on purposive sampling technique, it got 17 companies as research samples, so as long as 4 years observation there were 68 annual reports were analyzed. Type of data used is secondary data obtained from www.idx.co.id. The analyctical method used is multiple regression analysis.The results of this research showed than Intellectual Capital doesn’t have significant effect to company performance, company size has significant effect to company performance, managerial ownership has significant effect to company performance, and institutional ownership doesn’t have significant effect to company performance.

This study aims to empirically examine the factors that influence Financial Distress in Property and Real Estate Companies. This study was tested with four independent variables, namely Liquidity (Current Ratio), Leverage (Debt Equity Ratio), Firm Size (ln of Total Assets), and Profitability (Return on Assets) using purposive sampling technique the authors chose seventeen companies as samples. This study uses panel data analysis obtained from financial reports and Annual Reports for 5 years. This study uses secondary data with the help of the Eviews 9 application. The results found that the Leverage Variable (Debt Equity Ratio) has a positive and significant influence on Financial Distress while Liquidity (Current Ratio), Company Size (ln of Total Assets), and Profitability Variables (Return). on Assets) has a negative and significant effect on Financial Distress.

Abstrak Peneliti ingin menguji perataan laba dipengaruhi oleh profitabilitas, ukuran perusahaan, kompensasi bonus dan pajak. Data yang digunakan adalah data sekunder dengan pendekatan time series yang dikumpulkan melalui website resmi perusahaan manufaktur sektor industri barang yang terdaftar di BEI dan di analisis melalui regresi liner berganda. Populasi penelitian adalah laporan keuangan perusahaan manufaktur sektor industri barang konsumtif yang terdaftar di BEI sebanyak 50 perusahaan dengan teknik sampel purposive sampling yaitu laporan keuangan dari perusahaan yang konsisten dengan kelengkapan data periode 2018 dan 2019 sehingga menjadi 38 laporan keuangan perusahaan dengan data 2 tahun sehingga total sampel menjadi 76 data laporan keuangan. Penelitian menemukan bahwa profitabilitas negatif dan signifikan terhadap perataan laba, sementara ukuran perusahaan, kompensasi bonus dan pajak berpengaruh positif terhadap perataan laba. Kata Kunci: Profitabilitas, Ukuran Perusahaan, Kompensasi Bonus, Pajak, Perataan Laba. Abstract Researchers want to test income smoothing is influenced by profitability, company size, bonus compensation and taxes. The data used is secondary data with a time series approach which is collected through the official website of manufacturing companies in the goods industry sector listed on the IDX and analyzed through multiple linear regression. The research population is the financial statements of manufacturing companies in the consumer goods industry sector that are listed on the IDX as many as 50 companies with purposive sampling technique, namely financial reports from companies that are consistent with the completeness of data for the 2018 and 2019 periods so that it becomes 38 company financial reports with 2 years of data so that the total sample to 76 financial statement data. The results of the study found that profitability was negative and significant on income smoothing, while company size, bonus compensation and taxes had a positive effect on income smoothing. The purpose of this research is to know about the effect of these factors Corporate Governane proxy by Institutional Ownership and Number of Board of Directors, Firm Size, and Return On Asset in basic industry and chemistry towards capital structure, and also to determine which of those factors having powerful effect to the capital structure. This research is using secondary data, such as the financial reports, annual reports and other related information of basic industry and chemistry listed in Indonesian Stock Exchange which sample were taken from 45 companies for the period of 2013 to 2014, and the choosing of these samples was based on the purposive sampling method. Panel data is used to test the effect of Institutional Ownership, Board of Directors, Return on Asset and Firm Size among as independent variables, in regard to capital structure as dependent variables. The result shows that only Return On Asset have significant effect to the Capital Structure in the basic industry and chemistry. Meanwhile Institutional Ownership, Board of Directors and Firm Size have no effect to the Capital Structure in the basic industry and chemistry. This study aims to determine how the financial performance of Islamic commercial banks in Indonesia through the islamicity performance index approach for the period 2013-2017, by the principles of justice, halalness, and purification. This study using quantitative descriptive research. The number of banks sampled are five Islamic commercial banks in Indonesia that have been selected, through a purposive sampling technique first. These banks are BRI Syariah, BNI Syariah, Mandiri Syariah, BCA Syariah, and Victoria Syariah. The type of data used is secondary data taken from the financial statements of each islamic commercial bank that is sampled. Through the islamicity performance index approach, the results of this study indicate that the financial performance of islamic commercial bank is unsatisfactory, based on the average of the variables that have been processed in accordance with predicate valuation standards.

This study aims to determine the influence of the Sharia Supervisory Board and the Board of Commissioners on the Financial Performance of Islamic Banks in Indonesia. This study used secondary data from 12 banks.The sampling technique used is the purposive sampling technique. The method of data analysis used is multiple linear regression.The results partially show that the sharia supervisory board and board of commissioners positively and significantly influence the financial performance of Islamic banks in Indonesia. Simultaneously,the board of commissioners and the sharia supervisory board positively and significantly influence the financial performance of Islamic bank

This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of profitability, liquidity, company size and leverage on Islamic Social Reporting on Islamic commercial banks in Indonesia in the 2014-2018 period with the board of commissioners as a moderating variable. The main problem in this study is how much influence the profitability of the ISR is calculated through return on assets (ROA), namely the ratio between net income and total assets, liquidity to ISR calculated through the current ratio (CR), namely the ratio between current assets with current debt, the size of the company against ISR calculated by the natural logarithm of total assets, the effect of leverage on ISR calculated through the debt to assets rasio (DAR) and the board of commissioners as a moderating variable measured by the number of sharia board of commercial banks. The sampling technique using purposive sampling and obtained 7 company samples from a total of 14 population of Muamalat Indonesia Bank, BRI Syariah, BNI Syariah Bank, Mandiri Syariah Bank, Mega Syariah Bank, Syariah Bank Bukopin, BCA Syariah Bank. This type of research used in this study is quantitative. The data used in this study are secondary data in the form of finansial and annual reports. Data analysis techniques that researchers use are descriptive statistical analysis, classic assumption tests, Modereted Regression Analysis (MRA), partial hypothesis testing (t test), simultaneous hypothesis testing (f test), and coefficient of determination (R test). The R test of this study shows that the overall contribution of the independent variables, namely Profitability, Liquidity, Firm Size and Leverage to the dependent variable, namely ISR which is moderated by the Board of Commissioners variable is 70%, while 30% is determined by other variables not examined in this study. The F test of this study shows that simultaneously profitability, liquidity, firm size and leverage have a positive effect on ISR. The T test shows that profitability, liquidity, company size and leverage partially affect the ISR. The results of the moderation test are only liquidity and company size which are well moderated by the size of the board of commissioners in conducting ISR disclosures.

Evaluate performance intellectual capital of company is an important thing because this will contribute to the company competitive advantage in the future. This study aims to obtain empirical evidence of the impact institutional ownership, firm size and firmage on intellectual capital performance financial industry listed on Indonesian Stock Exchange 2015-2017.Intellectual capital performance measured by VAICTM. This research used non- probability sampling technique with purposive sampling method and 37 company as a sample and 111 observation. Secondary data obtained from the annual financial report of the financial industry. The result of this research indicate that institutional ownership hasnot affecting the intellectual capital performance. The result of this search also indicate that firm size and firm age has a positive effect on intellectual capital performance. This study is a quantitative study that aims to determine the effect of the current ratio, debt to asset ratio, return on assets, and firm size on financial distress. Logistic regression method was used to test all relationships between independent variables and dependent variables with nominal/ordinal data scales. The dependent variable in this study is financial distress. The independent variables in this study are liquidity, leverage, profitability and firm size. This study uses secondary data from annual reports of trading, service, and investment companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2016 to 2018. The population used is companies in the trade, services, and investment sectors listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). from 2016 to 2018 with a total of 162 companies selected using purposive sampling technique. The results of hypothesis testing indicate that the current ratio, debt to asset ratio, return on assets, and firm size have no effect on the company's financial distress. From research conducted by researchers, for management to be used as a basis to take corrective actions if there are indications that the company experiencing financial distress. For investors, to be used as a basis in making the right decision to invest in a company.

Abstract. The development of Islamic economics has led to the growth of Islamic banking, as a financial institution based on sharia principles. This research aims to analyze the relationship of risk, profitability, company size, and macroeconomics with capital buffer of Shariah Commercial Banks Indonesia during the period of 2015-2019. The study used a quantitative approach of the regression panel data with stata13 statistical tools. This study used secondary data with a population of 14 sharia commercial banks and a sample of 12 Islamic commercial banks using purposive sampling method. BOPO, NM, ROA, and KURS (exchange rate) were found to have significant positive effects on CB. SIZE has a significant negative effect, while NPF has positive  insignificant effect on CB. Islamic banks, regulators, and governments may consider risks, profitability, company size, and macroeconomic conditions in determining the size of capital buffers and maintaining the adequacy of capital owned by Islamic Banking.Keyword: Capital Buffer, Islamic Economic Systems, Shariah Banks. Abstrak. Ekonomi Islam menjadi paradigma baru yang komprehensif. Bank syariah dalam sistem ekonomi Islam merupakan lembaga keuangan dengan prinsip syariah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan risiko, profitabilitas, ukuran perusahaan, dan makroekonomi dengan penyangga modal (CB) Bank umum syariah (BUS) di Indonesia pada tahun 2015-2019. Pendekatan penelitian menggunakan pendekatan data panel kuantitatif regresi dengan alat statistik stata13. Penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder dengan populasi 14 Bank Islam dan sampel 12 bank umum syariah berdasarkan metode purposive sampling. BOPO, NM, ROA, dan KURS (nilai tukar) ditemukan memiliki pengaruh positif yang signifikan terhadap CB. SIZE memiliki hubungan negatif signifikan, sedangkan NPF positif tidak signifikan. Bank syariah, regulator, dan pemerintah dapat mempertimbangkan risiko, profitabilitas, ukuran perusahaan, dan kondisi makroekonomi dalam menentukan ukuran penyangga modal dan menjaga kecukupan modal yang dimiliki oleh Perbankan Syariah.Kata Kunci: Penyangga Modal, Sistem Ekonomi Syariah, Bank Syariah
