The study has been done on the effect of microgravity on cayenne pepper seed (Capsicum frutescens L.) on the growth rate and percentage of live of cayenne pepper plant. Microgravity is simulated by 2-D clinostat with the rotation speed of 2.7 rpm (1.22 × 10-4 g). The microgravity treatments werevariatewith time, known for 12 h (S1), 24 h (S2), and 48 h (S3).The seeds that have been clinorotated were planted in normal gravity environment, 1 g. Plant height and percentage of life measurements were carried out every dayduring the vegetative phase of plant of 0-40 days. The results showed that microgravity treatment on seeds gives positive effect on the growth rate of the cayenne pepper plant.

A research on the effect of photosynthetic active radiation (PAR) on the growth of green mustard plants has been conducted. The radiation source used is sunlight. Samples have been grouped as a sample which treated by red filter (P1), by orange filter (P2), by purple filter (P3), by green filter (P4), by blue filter (P5) and a sample without filter as a control (P0). Each sample consisted of four plants. The planting was carried out using polybags with compost media. Observations were made from the nursery phase to the slow vegetative phase (day 3rd, when all plants had grown shoots until day 63rd of the harvest). Parameters measured include light intensity, plant height and number of leaves. Measurement is done every three days. Also it measured plant biomass on the last day of observation (63rd day). The results showed that the intensity of each sample had an impact on the harvest. The best growth rate is obtained in P2, both in the nursery phase and fast vegetative phase i.e. 0.119 cm/day and 0.194 cm/day, respectively. While the highest growth rate was obtained in the P3 sample, namely the slow vegetative phase (0.035 cm/day). Overall the best planting results were obtained in P2 samples with plant height of 23.18 cm, number of leaves of 12 strands and plant biomass of 33.56 g.

Study on the effect of various disturbances on the cayenne pepper seeds (Capsicum Frutescens L.) to the content of chlorophyll a, chlorophyll b, carotenoids, and biomass of the plants in the germination period have been done. The disturbances given include UV-C irradiation for 1 hour (S1), microgravity for 12 hours (S2), for 24 hours (S3), and for 48 hours (S4), as well as combined disturbances that are UV-C irradiation for 1 hour followed by microgravity for 12 hours (S5), for 24 hours (S6), and for 48 hours (S7). As comparison, it has been used seeds without treatment called control (S0). The microgravity environment was created using a 2-D clinostat with a rotational speed of 2.7 rpm (1.2 x 10-4 g). All samples were grown in normal gravity (1 g) environment. Observations were made during the vegetative phase until the plant was 40 days old. Measurements of chlorophyll a, chlorophyll b, carotenoids, and biomass were performed at the plants were 10, 20, and 40 days old. The results showed that disturbances which given on the seeds gave positive effects on the content of chlorophyll a, chlorophyll b, carotenoids, and biomass of the plants. The impacts depend on the duration of the disturbances given.

Backgroud: Cayenne pepper or Capsicum frutescens L. is a plant wich very popular all over the world.  Banana peel has been considered as garbage and smells, there are many chemicals that contain elements of potassium, phosphorus, magnesium, potassium, and sodium brpotensi to be used as fertilizer. Method: This study used a randomized block design (RBD) with treatment carried out in the form of fertilizers Plantain skin (P). Fertilization Plantain skin consists of four stage treatment, namely: P0 (0 ml/polybag), P1 (200 ml/polybag), P2 (350 ml/polybag), P3 (500 ml/polybag). From the observed level of treatment, three replications were made so that there are 12 samples in the study. Results: Cayenne pepper plant growth with the highest value on plant height, number of leaves and number of branches acquired in treatment P3 (500 ml fertilizer plantain skin ).  While the generative period banana peels fertilizer treatments showed that there is a significant influence on the production of fruit and weeks 8, 10 and 12 and the weight of the fruit at harvest time. The number of pieces of cayenne pepper with the highest value obtained in treatment P3 (500 ml fertilizer plantain skin). Conclusion: Treatment P3 (500ml fertilizer plantain skin) is a treatment wich best during the vegetative growth of plant height, number of leaves and number of branches cayenne pepper. Moreover P3 is also the best treatment on fruit number and fruit weight during the generative crop.

Field experiments were conducted during 2019 in two different locations in Greece (Athens and Farsala) to evaluate the effect of urea and urea fertilization with inhibitors on the agronomic yield and quality characteristics of two cannabis varieties (Cannabis sativa L.), “Uso31”and “Fedora 17”. The experimental design was split-plot with four different fertilization treatments—control, Urea (U), urea with Urease Inhibitor (UI), and urea with Nitrification Inhibitor (NI) and urease inhibitor (UI). The significance of differences between treatments was estimated by using Tukey’s test with a significance level of p = 0.05. The plant height was significantly affected by the different fertilizations and different varieties as well as by the two locations. The maximum plant height was 197 cm for “Fedora 17”in Farsala. The seed yield was higher forthe urea with inhibitors treatment in both varieties. The Cannabidiol (CBD) content was significantly affected by the fertilization—it was higher in urea with inhibitors in “Uso31”and “Fedora 17” treatments. The lowest CBD content value was 1.29% (control) and the highest was 1.69% (urea NI + UI). In conclusion, in both varieties, it seems that urea with inhibitors has a positive effect on their growth, as well as on the increase in cannabidiol (CBD) content.

The Study was conducted to evaluate the effect of solid and liquid organic fertilizer on growth and yield of rosselle in 2016 cropping season at Institute of Agricultural Reserve Zaria, Samaru (11011’N 07038E and 686m) and Institute of Horticultural Research Farm Bagauda (12000’N 8031”Em 488m) in Northern Guinea Savannah and Sudan Savannah Ecological Zones of above sea level Nigeria. Treatments consisted of four levels of solid poultry manure (0.0, 1.0, 2.0 and 3.0) tons/ha and five levels of liquid organic manure from Grand Total Organic Fertilizer Limited (0.0, 0.5, 1.0, 1.5 and 2.9) litres/ha, which were factorially combined in a randomized complete block design (RCBD) and replicated three times. Data on growth parameter were collected on plant height (cm), plant dry weight (g), leaf Area index crop growth rate (CGR) Relative Growth Rate (RGR) and Net assimilation rate (NAR) while data on yield parameters like number of calyx per pant, 100 seed weight (g) and  calyx yield per hectare kg/ha were collected. Results showed that plant height, plant dry weight(g), 100 seed weight(g) and calyx dry yield kg/ha had a significant increase with application of 2.0 litres/ha of liquid fertilizer than other rates. While application of solid poultry manure at 3.0ton/ha significantly increases plant height, net assimilation rate, leaf area index and calyx dry weight when compared with other rates. From the results obtained, the combination of 2.0 litres/ha liquid organic fertilizer and 3.0 ton/ha solid poultry manure produce the highest calyx yield at both location.

The effectiveness of the application of functional feed additives, in particular biological products, in the cultivation of poultry is shown. We have developed functional biological products No. 1 and No. 2 based on perlite and propionic acid microorganisms and azotobacter bacteria, and studying their effect on the change in growth rate and preservation of young quails for fattening at a dose of 2.0% by weight of feed. According to the results of the experiment, it was established that the best result compared with the control was provided by the additive (No. 1) based on propionic acid microorganisms and perlite (an increase in the average daily increase in live weight of quails by 21.0%). The use of bioproduct number 2 provided the growth rate of poultry, in comparison with the control, by 20.2% Also, feeding of symbiotic supplement No. 2 in the amount of 2.0% ensured 100% survival of young poultry, and supplements based on propionic acid microorganisms and perlite — 98.0%, which is 6.0 and 4.0% higher than the benchmark. The results show that both bioproducts have a positive effect on the growth and preservation of quails and are recommended as supplements to the complete feed throughout the fattening period.

Algae is not desirable in hydroponics and creates problems such as reduced yield and decreased dissolved oxygen, and affects the physiology of plants and, thus, needs to be controlled. An experiment was conducted in Ebb and Flow hydroponic systems to investigate the application timing and rates of two hydrogen peroxide products (Zerotol and PERpose Plus). Treatments included 35 mL weekly, 35 mL biweekly, 70 mL weekly, 70 mL biweekly, and a control with no application of hydrogen peroxide using a 40-gallon reservoir of water. Pepper ‘Early Jalapeno’ and ‘Lunchbox Red’ and tomato ‘Geronimo’ and ‘Little Sicily’ were used. The study was conducted in a split-plot design with two replications over time. Plant growth parameters, including plant height, flower number, net CO2 assimilation, fresh weight, and dry weight were recorded. Algae data, including dry weight, algae cell counts, and chl a were also measured. Results indicated that with increasing rate and timing of either product decreased algae counts, dry weight, and chl a values. However, weekly and biweekly application of 70 mL of both products were not different for algae quantification. In pepper, plant height, shoot fresh and dry weight, and root fresh and dry weight were found to be significantly greater with Zerotol 35 mL biweekly, Zerotol 70 mL weekly, PERpose Plus 35 mL biweekly, and PERpose Plus 70 mL weekly compared with the control. ‘Lunchbox Red’ was significantly greater than ‘Early Jalapeno’ in all growth parameters, except soil plant analysis development (SPAD). ‘Lunchbox Red’ had the greatest flower number, with weekly application of 70 mL PERpose Plus. In tomato, greatest flower number and SPAD were observed in ‘Geronimo’ with a weekly application of 70 mL PERpose Plus and 70 mL Zerotol, respectively. Greater shoot and root fresh and dry weight for both tomato cultivars were recorded with 35 mL biweekly or 70 mL weekly application with either product. The results from both plants as well as algae analysis suggest that weekly application of 70 mL of either Zerotol or PERpose Plus produced the best results in terms of controlling algae and improving the growth of pepper and tomato plants.

The objective of this study is to investigate the effect of conservative working capital policy on profitability and examine the effect of conservative working capital policy on sustainable growth mediated by profitability in the manufacturing sector in Indonesia. This study involves 133 manufacturing firms in Indonesia during the 2013-2018 period. Data are analyzed using panel data regression with random effects estimation models. The result of this study showed that conservative working capital policy, both investment and financing policy, has proven to have a positive effect on sustainable growth rate. Besides, this study also proved that profitability has a positive effect on SGR. Furthermore, there was the effect of conservative working capital policies on the level of sustainable growth through profitability. This study not only contributes to expanding knowledge about the relationship between working capital policies, profitability and sustainable growth rates, but also has relevant implications for firm managers to improve firm performance to be able to grow sustainably
