Leucocytozoon and Plasmodium are blood parasitic protozoa that can be found in poultry blood including ducks. These protozoa can cause Leucocytozoonosis and Plasmodiosis in poultry. Spread of the disease through different biological vectors. Similium sp. and Culicoides arakawae as vectors of Leucocytozoonosis and vectors of Plasmodiosis are Culex sp., Culiseta sp., and Aedes sp. This study aims to determine the prevalence of Leucocytozoonosis and Plasmodiosis in ducks that are maintained on a household scale. Ducks are taken from four locations (breeders on a household scale) in Besan Village. In each location, 5 ducks were taken so that the total number of ducks used was 20. This research used purposive sampling method. Samples of duck blood were made as blood smear preparations and stained with 10% Giemsa stain solution then observed under a microscope. The parameters observed were the percentage of blood samples infected with Leucocytozoon and Plasmodium and hematological parameters (total leukocyte count, total erythrocyte count, hemoglobin level, and PCV value). The results showed that Leucocytozoon and Plasmodium were not found in duck blood cells. The prevalence of Leucocytozoonosis and Plasmodiosis in ducks was 0%. The average value of duck blood profile through One Way Anova statistical analysis showed no significant difference between ducks from each sampling location (p> 0.05) and the value of duck blood profile for all samples was within the normal range.

Usually, the people of Mojopetung Village, Dukun Subdistrict, Gresik Regency in disposing of waste from livestock are left idle in the ground if dried cow feces will be dumped into the rice fields. If in the rainy season the cattle fases will disappear by itself because it is carried by running water and the cow feces seep into will also flow into the river directly. This causes the water to not function properly and cause air and soil pollution. In addition, aquatic biota life is also disturbed not only because of cow feces (Bos taurus) but the existence of Eichhornia crassies which continue to increase people's habit does not use water as they should use as a place of animal baths. These problems can be overcome by processing cow feces with water hyacinth as compost. With the method of applying the fertilizer directly to plant. The method of data analysis was carried out using one-way ANOVA (Analysys of Variance) Test to find out whether or not the influence of organic fertilizer on plant growth.  The results showed that the average height of the stem was 32.69 cm in the treatment using compost, 30.84 cm using urea fertilizer, 25.8 cm without fertilizer. The number of leaves that use compost, urea or no fertilizer results in an average value equal to 5 cm, and the leaf color produces a green average for each experiment. ANOVA test on plant growth results in F = 14.608> F table = 3.59. This shows that there are significant differences in plant growth in organic fertilizer applications. the number of leaves and the color of the leaves yielded F = 0 <F arithmetic = 3.59 and F = 0.2 <F arithmetic = 3.59 which showed no significant difference in the number of leaves and plant height.

Abstract Veterinary hematology serves as an important screening procedure to assess general health condition, diagnosis, and treatment of disease. The study was aimed to interpret and establish a set of hematology reference range for Asian elephants kept under private and government facilities of Nepal as no major work has been done till now. Blood samples from 50 elephants around Chitwan National Park, Sauraha was collected and hematological parameters like total erythrocyte count and total leukocyte count were determined. The results showed that the majority of hematological value was in line with the value previously published by different authors. The mean erythrocyte and leukocyte count was reported as 3.32 ±0.93 ×10^6 cell/µL and 10448±335.49 cells/ µL respectively. No sex-associated significant difference was observed in the case of total erythrocyte count whereas total leukocyte counts varied significantly within sex. Our finding revealed no significant difference in hematological parameters between governmental and privately owned elephants. The hematological value of our study can be used as a reference value for assessing the health condition of elephants in Nepal. Further research work should be conducted to evaluate the factors affecting hematological parameters.
