The process of educating preschool teachers in Serbia over the past decades has been carried out within the framework of three-year vocational programs. Ten years ago Teacher Education Faculties offered academic, four – year long studies for preschool teachers. Curricula and programs in all areas, including music, have been constantly modificated,  improved and adapted to the needs of practice. The aim of this study was to determine whether there is a statistically significant difference between self-assessment of musical competences – general and individual (instrument playing skills, knowledge of musical notation, as well as basic methodological steps in music activities) between educators who have just completed academic studies and those who already work at Serbian preschools an have mainly attended vocational studies. Our primary purpose was to ascertain whether the various innovations introduced within the curricula of musical subjects in the academic studies have positively influenced the teachers’ perception of their own musical competencies. The research has confirmed the impact of educational programs for music teachers on the self-assessment of their musical competencies and knowledge in this field. There was a statistically significant difference between the responses of the experimental and control groups in favor of experimental in all key areas: general self-assessment of music competences, self-assessment of specific skills – music-playing skill and music literacy, content selection criteria, methodological procedures.

The energy drink is also suspected to affect kidney function. This study aims to determine whether there is influence of various brands of energy drinks (M1, M2, M3, M4) of the serum creatinine levels in male rats Rattus norvegicus. This is a study with randomized post test only control group design. The study used male rats Rattus norvegicus as many as 25 animals that were divided into 5 groups. The control group, the group P1 = M1 energy drinks, group P2 = M2 energy drinks, group P3 = M3 energy drinks, group P4 = M4 energy drinks. The energy drinks were given as many as 2.5 ml / 200 g weight / day for 1 month. Cardiac blood sampling performed to measure the levels of serum creatinine and then the results were analyzed using One-Way Anova to compare the levels of serum creatinine in each group of this study. Results of One-Way Anova test obtained by sig α = 0.000 which means there is significant difference between the treatment group and the control group. It can be concluded that the administration of energy drinks to the Rattus norvegicus would be altered the kidney function. It is caused by various substances contained in energy drinks such as taurine, sugar, vitamin B, caffeine, and other supplementary materials.

Introdution: One of the major challengs in ovarian tissue transplantation is overcomeing ischemia/ reperfusion injuries. During ischemia–reperfusion processes, oxygen free radicals constitute the most important component that induces damage of the grafted tissues. The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of L-Carnitine (LC) as an antioxidant on heterotopic transplantation of mouse ovarian tissue. Methods: In this laboratory experimental study, 5- week old female NMRI mice were divided into four groups: control, transplanted without administration (autograft), sham group (autograft+ saline) and LC group (autograft+ L- carnitine). Left ovarian tissues were transplanted into the Gluteal muscle for 3 weeks. After this time, ovarian tissues from all groups were removed and fixed in formalin for histological studies. Furthermore, rate of Caspase- 3 was assessed by immunohistochemistry test. Lipid peroxidation was assessed by measuring  malondialdehyde (MDA). One-way ANOVA and Tudey test was used to analyze the data using the spss 16 software. Significance was defined as P≤0.0. Results: The study results indicated that total follicular count in transplantedwithout administration and sham groups was significantly lower than the control group (p<0.05), but there was no significant difference between the control and LC groups. In addition, the rate of caspase-3 was decreased in the LC group, but no significant difference existed between all groups (p<0.05). A significant reduction in the concentration of MDA was observed in the LC group than that in the other transplanted groups (p<0.05). Conclusion: In this study, LC could improve the ovarian reserve to some extent, but its effect was not significant.

Learning a foreign language should be fun. Sitting hours passively in the classroom and memorizing grammatical rules in the classroom – this kind of learning experience is banal and not fruitful. Students who failed to use the grammar learned in German Language learning are a catalyst for the implementation of this study which studies German Language learning by using the Flipped Classroom. Flipped Classroom transforms the concept of concrete-walled classroom to the unobstructed classroom. Flipped Classroom is effective when students are actively involved in learning and active involvement contributes to quality and meaningful learning. This study used quasi-experimental designs, a precisely repeated-measures design where three treatment sessions were carried out on samples comprising 36 students in session 1, 35 students in sessions 2 and 3. T-test parametric tests, one-way ANOVA and one-way ANCOVA are used to analyze the quantitative data of intervention effects on the achievement of the German language. While t-test, one-way ANOVA and MANCOVA were implemented to analyze the quantitative data of intervention effects on student involvement in German Language grammar learning. The findings showed that after the treatment was given, there was no significant difference in the mean score of German Language Achievement in learning German grammar. Besides, the analysis of the findings found that there was no significant difference in the mean score of the Student Engagement among the students in the experimental group and control group after the intervention took place in session 1, session 2 and session 3. However, students following the Flipped Classroom Module showed better improvement in German language achievement and student engagement compared to students following the Traditional Module. Flipped Classroom is suggested to be integrated into German grammar learning completely. With this, grammar teaching and learning will become more interesting and more effective. In addition, German language grammar teaching and learning activities will be organized and every minute in the classroom can be fully utilized by teachers and students.
