The purpose of this paper, is to analyze the influence of Profitability, Board Gender, and Liquidity toward Firm Value with Dividend Policy as moderating variable. The sample collection technique has been done by using purposive sampling method, and the samples are 12 companies. The statistic test method has been done by using multiple linier regression analysis and moderated regression analysis. The independent variables in this research are profitability which proxied with return on equity and net profit margin, board gender, and liquidity which proxied with current ratio and quick ratio. The dependent variable is firm value which proxied with price to book value. The moderating variable is dividend policy which proxied with dividend payout ratio. The result of this research show that (1) profitability, board gender, and liquidity simultaneously have significant effect towards firm value, (2) profitability, board gender, and liquidity with dividend policy as moderating variable simultaneously have significant effect towards firm value. According to the result of partial coefficient determination (t-test), return on equity and board gender have a positive significant effect towards firm value. Net profit margin has negative significant effect towards firm value. Current ratio has positive insignificant effect towards firm value, while quick ratio has a negative insignificant effect towards firm value. According to the result of moderated regression analysis, dividend policy as moderating variable is able to moderate the effect of profitability towards firm value but is not able to moderate the effect of board gender and liquidity towards firm value.

This study aims to determine and analyze the factors that influence stock returns with dividend policy as a moderating variable simultaneously and partially on consumer goods companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The population of this research is 155 consumer goods companies listed on the IDX. Samples selected using the saturated sampling method amounted to 31 companies. Data were processed using multiple linear regression statistical test methods using SPSS software. The results of this study prove the first hypothesis that the variable current ratio, return on equity, earnings per share, net profit margin, cash flow from operations to debt, inflation and Bank Indonesia interest rates simultaneously influence stock returns. Partially, inflation and interest rates of Bank Indonesia partially affect stock returns, while the current ratio variable, return on equity, earnings per share, net profit margin and cash flow from operations to debt do not affect stock returns. In the results of the research for the second hypothesis, dividend policy is not able to moderate the relationship of current ratio, return on equity, earnings per share, net profit margin, cash flow from operations to debt), inflation and Bank Indonesia interest rates on stock returns. The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of profitability on dividend policy and firm value. Dividend policy is proxied by the dividend per share, while profitability is proxied by return on equity, return on assets and net profit margin. Firm value measured by price-to-book value ratio. We use firm size as a controlle varable. The population in this study are the companies that are members of the Jakarta Islamic Index (JII). Therefore there are only 30 companies that listed in JII, then all of companies were taken as samples with a four-year observation period (2008-2011). To analyze the data, we use multiple regression that supported by eviews program. The results showed that first profitability variables that significantly affect dividend policy is the return on assets and return on equity, while net profit margin and firm size does not affect the dividend policy. Second, dividend policies significantly affect the firm value. While profitability variables that significantly affect the firm value is the return on equity and return on assets, but net profit margin and firm size does not affect to firm value.

Methodology research as the sample used proposive sampling with criteria as (1) Manufacturing companies that listing at JSX who provide financial report year ending 31st December during the observation period 2008 – 2010, well available at JASICA index. (2) Companies must be the listined at the beginning of the period of observation and not on the delisting until the end of the observation period. (3) The financial report include the value of financial ratios to be studied include ROE, CR, DER, TAT, and NPM. (4) At the beginning of the observation period until the end. Total of 23 samples obtained from 131 firms during the observation period of three years in the manufacturing sector. Sample amount as much 69 during the observation period of three years. Data analysis with multi linier regression of ordinary least square and hypotheses test used partial t - test, simultan F – test at level of significance 5%. Empirical evidence show as CR, DER, and TAT to have not significant influence toward ROE of manufacturing companies listing in JSX over period 2008 – 2010 at level of significance >5%. While the rest NPM to have significant influence toward ROE of manufacturing companies listined in JSX over period 2008 – 2010 at level of significance 5%. While, four independent variabel (CR, DER, TAT and NPM) to have significant influence toward ROE at level of significance 5% as 0,000%. Predictable of the four variables toward ROE is 56,9% as indicated by adjusted R square that is 56,9% while the rest 43,1% is affected by other factors is not included into the study model.
