This study aimed to analyze the physicochemical and organoleptic characteristics of rejected laying duck meat pepes after being coated with jackfruit leaf powder (JLP). The research design employed was a completely randomized design consisting of 4 treatments (P0: without any coating with JLP; P1: 5%; P2: 10%; and P3: 15% smearing of JLP) with 3 replications. The variables measured were cooking loss, water holding capacity (WHC), pH, and water content which were analyzed by Anova and multiple comparisons DMRT by significance level 0.05, and organoleptic which were analyzed by description. The results of the study showed that rejected laying duck meat smeared with JLP had no significant effect (P>0.05) on cooking loss, WHC pH, and moisture content of the pepes. However, the 15% JLP was able to enhance the aroma of the pepes. The average range value of the cooking loss was 14.00 to 15.33%, the WHC was 53.76-55.47%, the pH value was 6.22-6.29%, and the moisture content was 67.83-71,28%. The results of the hedonic quality test showed that the average value of the meat aroma ranged from 4.03-4.20 in the slightly fishy to a very non-fishy category, the interval scale test results showed P0, P1, and P2 in an interval scale of 3.40-4.19 (slightly fishy aroma), different from P3 which is included in the interval scale from 4.20 to 5.00 (very not fishy). The tenderness of the meat was 3.52-3.92 as the tender category, the taste of the meat was 3.88-4.10 as the delicious category. The results of the hedonic test showed that the average value of the aroma of meat ranged from 4.02-4.12, the tenderness from 3.39-3.64, and the taste from 3.88-3.97. All scores were in the liking category. It was concluded that 5% to 15% smearing of JLP did not change the physicochemical properties of rejected layer duck meat paste, but 15% application of it could increase the aroma.

Introduction. The search for effective drug combinations for treating continental disorders in women is still relevant. The interval scale for assessing lower urinary tract symptoms in women is a simple and convenient tool for monitoring pharmacotherapy. Objective: to evaluate the effectiveness of treatment of imperative and mixed urination disorders in women with alpha1-blockers in combination with nootropic drugs using an interval symptom rating scale.Materials and methods. Under observation there were 31 patients aged 40 to 73 years who applied to the Center “Urination Pathology” with mixed and imperative disorders of the continent and urinary incontinence. Conservative therapy was carried out with the appointment of alpha1-adrenoblockers, nootropic and metabolic drugs for an average of 5.8 months. The therapeutic effect is recorded using the interval symptom score scale.Results. After discontinuation of drugs, the overall score on the symptom rating scale decreased by 40.2%, imperative symptoms – by 29.5-50%, and quality of life increased by 19%. In the group of women aged 40-49, with comparable dynamics of symptoms with patients older than 50 years, therapy lasted less. The difference averaged 4.1 months and was associated with a higher frequency in the older age group of vascular, metabolic and neurological disorders that slow down the regulatory processes of urination recovery.Conclusion. Alpha1-blockers and nootropics are pathogenetically substantiated for the treatment of imperative disorders of urination and urinary incontinence. Evaluation using the interval scale reliably demonstrates their high clinical effectiveness, persistence of the therapeutic effect and the feasibility of application at the stage of selection for surgical treatment.

Ear training aims to ensure the development of individuals receiving music education. There are mobile applications which music students can do hearing studies. The aim of this research; it is determining the content of ear training applications that can be accessed on the internet and downloaded to mobile devices to make a comparative analysis. In the research, 11 mobile applications with 100 thousand or more users were analyzed in terms of Turkish support, courses and ear training studies. As a result of the analyzes made, it was determined that in some applications, interval, scale and chord subjects were explained. It is comprehended that theoretical studies such as setting up defining intervals, scales and chords are included in the applications where ear training are carried out.In some applications, interval, scale, chord vocalization and playing exercises are additionally included. In line with these results; it is suggested to develop a mobile application in which the topics are arranged according to a curriculum, the exercises support the lectures, and the Turkish support is included. Keywords: Music, ear training, mobile applications

This paper presents the R package blockmodeling which is primarily meant as an implementation of generalized blockmodeling (more broadly blockmodeling) for valued networks where the values of the ties are assumed to be measured on at least interval scale. Blockmodeling is one of the most commonly used approaches in the analysis of (social) networks, which deals with the analysis of relationships or connections, between the units studied (e.g., peoples, organizations, journals etc.). The R package blockmodeling implements several approaches for the generalized blockmodeling of binary and valued networks. Generalized blockmodeling is commonly used to cluster nodes in a network with regard to the structure of their links. The theoretical foundations of generalized blockmodeling for binary and valued networks are summarized in the paper while the use of the R package blockmodeling is illustrated by applying it to an empirical dataset.

A recently developed framework of measurement, referred to as Delta-scoring (or D-scoring) method (DSM; e.g., Dimitrov 2016, 2018, 2020) is gaining attention in the field of educational measurement and widely used in large-scale assessments at the National Center for Assessment in Saudi Arabia. The D-scores obtained under the DSM range from 0 to 1 to indicate how much (what proportion) of the ability measured by a test of binary items is demonstrated by the examinee. This study examines whether the D-scale is an interval scale and how D-scores compare to IRT ability scores (thetas) in terms of intervalness via testing the axioms of additive conjoint measurement (ACM). The approach to testing is the ConjointChecks (Domingue, 2014), which implements a Bayesian method to evaluating whether the axioms are violated in a given empirical item response data set. The results indicate that the D-scores, computed under the DSM, produce fewer violations of the ordering axioms of ACM than do the IRT “theta” scores. The conclusion is that the DSM produces a dependable D-scale in terms of the essential property of intervalness.

Artificial Intelligence has brought a great transformation to the financial sector by providing various opportunities for tailor made and customized services, reduction in costs and developing new models of business. Additionally, Artificial Intelligence has really boomed in past few years and many companies in different sectors have adopted it and applied in their operations. Many times, Artificial Intelligence is called as automation of the process within the sector, but a better way of usage of technology for the betterment of sector, mainly financial sector. Huge changes have been brought in financial sector through technology of artificial intelligence that created a range of innovative financial services such as intelligent consultant, intelligent lending, monitoring, and warning, as well as intelligent customer service. A sample of 175 respondents in which 62.29% “male” and 37.71% “female” has been considered by a “standard questionnaire” created on five-point interval scale.

The family Vochysiaceae, representative for Brazilian Cerrado, does not stand out in Caatinga environments. Due to the lack of studies that address the behavior of species of this family in disjunct Cerrado environments, this study aimed to investigate structural, ecological and phenological aspects of Qualea parviflora and Callisthene fasciculata populations. The phytosociological and phenological surveys were carried out in a Cerrado enclave at Serra do Boqueirão, Lavras da Mangabeira municipality, Southern Ceará, Brazil. Twelve sampling units of 12.0 x 30 m (0.432 ha) were plotted randomly, including all living individuals with a ground level diameter ≥ 3 cm, also measuring total heights. For the evaluation of phenophases, the Fournier percentage was used, allowing the estimation of intensity of the phenophase in each individual through a semi-quantitative interval scale of five categories (0 to 4), 0 being equivalent to 0%; (1) 1 to 25%; (2) 26 to 50%; (3) 51 to 75% and (4) 76 to 100%. Each sample was composed of 103 and 78 individuals respectively in 66.6% and 91.6% of the plots, of Q. parviflora and C. fasciculata, respectively. The spatial distribution, measured by the Dispersion (ID) and Morisita (IM) indexes reached the values of 17.14 and 18.26 (ID) and 1.08 and 1.16 (IM), respectively, indicating that the species have an aggregate distribution. The phenophases generally correlated with all the climatic variables studied in the region such as rain and preciptation. All data and results presented here collaborate for future projects in the area.
