Based on data from PT Kereta Commuter Indonesia (KCI) the number of KRL passengers throughout 2017 reached 315.8 million passengers, up 12.55% from the previous year and will experience an increase every year. With this amount it is known that commuting has also increased. Areas that have easy access to public and strategic transportation are in the center of Jakarta's business district, Dukuh Atas. Hamlet above is also an area with a large commuter population. Every day commuters in Indonesia spend 2-third of their time just waiting and there is repetition. this causes things such as the individual's lack of attention to health, social world and also a high level of stress. Therefore, with the increasing number of passengers and the appropriate area a third place can be created which is a place between the first place and second place that drives humans to build community, equality, and also routines in terms of something positive. For that, we need a place to stop in order to increase productivity and also eliminate the saturation that arises due to repetition that occurs. Then a place was built that had programs such as a bed, a place to chat and also a green room. This building also had room for ticket information that was integrated directly with the Upper Hamlet Station which facilitated access and information accordingly such as departure hours and also when trains arrived.

One of the most challenging issues in manual assembly lines is to achieve the best balance of workloads. There are many analytic approaches to solve this problem, but they are often neglected, since they are time-consuming and require high level engineering skills. Fashion bags packaging lines must comply with a number of different products with low production volumes, while the organization of the line is often under the mere responsibility of the foreman, who balances workloads in an empirical way. The aim of this work is to evaluate the effectiveness of the arrangement of bucket brigades (BBs) for an assembly line of luxury handbags. To do this, it was decided to perform a testing activity in a company producing fashion handbags in order to compare the self-made design with the BBs and with a simple assembly line balancing problem algorithm. The originality of this research lies in the fact that there are no studies in the literature on BBs applied to the packaging of highly variable small batches. The results were excellent, showing the advantages of BBs in terms of flexibility, the reduction of work in the process and the ability to handle small anomalies.

Abstract Background: burnout in the hospital environment is a problem that affects care and training. Often explored in the high-income medical context, burnout is poorly studied in low and middle-income countries characterized by a precarious hospital situation and a high stake linked to the Millennium Development Goals. The aim of our study was to determine in medical practitioners, in a sub-Saharan African country’s medical context, the burnout level and associated factors. Methods: a prospective cross-sectional study by using a self-administered Likert-scale questionnaire addressed to doctors and doctoral medical students in Gabon. Maslach Burnout Inventory scale has been used. Burnout symptoms were defined by high level in at least one of the 3 dimensions. Severe burnout defined by high level in all dimensions. Explored factors: socio-demographic and psychometric. Multiple logistic regression has been performed. Results: among 104 participants, severe burnout prevailed at 1.9% (95% CI: 0.2% -6.8%) and burnout symptoms at 34.6% (95% CI: 25, 6% -44.6%). The associated factors with burnout symptoms: age (OR = 0.86, p = 0.004), clinical activity in a university hospital center (OR = 5.19, p = 0.006), the easy access to the hospital (OR = 0.59, p = 0.012), number of elderly dependents living with the practitioner (OR = 0.54, p = 0.012), to live in the borough where the hospital is located (OR = 0.24, p = 0.039) and to be favorable to traditional medicine (OR = 1.82, p = 0.087). Nagelkerke’s R-squared:53.1%. Conclusion: in Gabon, middle-income country, almost one practitioner in two has burnout symptoms. The young age, the university hospital center, the difficulty to access to hospital and to live in the borough where the hospital is located increase the probability of burnout symptoms. These results must put question to relevant authorities regarding health and medical education, to set up: a public transport for practitioners, an optimal primary health care system, a regulation of medical tasks in hospitals, a training in clinical supervision.

One major barrier is that educators often view themselves as “people persons” and not “technology persons,” which ends up being an excuse for not familiarizing themselves with new tools. Ironically, the actual research in other industries related to people who employ a high level of information technology in their jobs is that the technology liberates them to be more interactive with other people, not machines. The financial disaster “wolf” has never really been at the door of most school districts. By almost any measure, schools have for decades received funding that outpaces inflation. (That is why proponents for increased school funding have “cloaked” their requests in other measures such as percentage of the state budget or to equal expenditures in other states.) Conversely, many of the companies that have “reengineered” themselves have done so at the threat of going out of business. Some of these companies have seen declines in revenues over a short period of time of 50% or more. This has forced them to make really difficult decisions in order to increase productivity. They have often had to substantially reallocate priorities and resources in order to survive.

This mixed-methods study examined the use of web-based portfolios for developing preservice teachers’ reflective skills. Building on the work of previous research, the authors proposed a set of reflection-based tasks to enrich preservice teachers’ internship experiences. Their purpose was to identify (a) whether preservice teachers demonstrated evidence of reflective thinking throughout a semester and, if so, the types of reflective thinking indicators; (b) whether there was an increase in the number of high-level reflective indicators over time; and (c) the role of the web-based portfolio construction, as perceived by the participants, in developing reflective skills. The findings suggested that preservice teachers demonstrated high- and low-level reflective skills throughout a semester. There was a statistically significant improvement in the number of high-level reflective indicators in the second reflection task compared with the first. In addition, the web-based platform was perceived by participants as a medium that enabled easy access and the development of better portfolio artifacts.

Cancer is a complex disease caused by the accumulation of genetic alterations during the individual’s life. Such alterations are called genetic mutations and can be divided into two groups: (1) Passenger mutations, which are not responsible for cancer and (2) Driver mutations, which are significant for cancer and responsible for its initiation and progression. Cancer cells undergo a large number of mutations, of which most are passengers, and few are drivers. The identification of driver mutations is a key point and one of the biggest challenges in Cancer Genomics. Many computational methods for such a purpose have been developed in Cancer Bioinformatics. Such computational methods are complex and are usually described in a high level of abstraction. This tutorial details some classical computational methods, from a computational perspective, with the transcription in an algorithmic format towards an easy access by researchers.

The main goal of the Grid-TLSE project is to design an expert site that provides an easy access to a number of sparse matrix solver packages allowing their comparative analysis on user-submitted problems, as well as on matrices from collections also available on the site. The site provide user assistance in choosing the right solver for its problems and appropriate values for the solver parameters. A computational Grid is used to deal with all the runs arising from user requests. After an overview of the project, we discuss on some of the main difficulties we face in Grid- TLSE: considering the amount of softwares that will be available, facilitating to facilitate their deployment and their exploitation over a Grid is crucial. We make use of an abstract meta-data based description of solvers and have introduced the concept of scenario, i.e. a high-level user assistance description that provides ways of discovering automatically the most appropriate solvers based on their description. The scenarios are used for generating the dynamic workflows that will be executed over the Grid and take advantage of some of the features available in the DIET Grid middleware. We also report on the introduction of a semantic-based component model for efficient service trading.

This article addresses the strategic application of systemic oral transmucosal* (i.e., sublingual and buccal) drug delivery. Circumvention of first-pass hepatic metabolism in the gut, rapid onset of action, easy access via the oral cavity, easy administration for patients with dysphagia and a high level of patient acceptance are the principal advantages of the oral transmucosal route. Key clinical and commercial strategies driving the development of oral transmucosal formulations are addressed. A case study of Cynapsus Therapeutics' APL-130277, a sublingual apomorphine formulation in clinical development for Parkinson's disease exemplifies the scientific, clinical and commercial considerations for systemic oral transmucosal drug delivery. *Note: In this article, oral transmucosal delivery refers to systemic drug delivery through the sublingual or buccal mucosa. Local delivery to the oral mucosa is not included.

The article presents the results of the study performance of cone crushers and the existing technology restoration of their parts. The main reasons for the failure of cone crushers are the following: failure armor of the cone and the middle part, the protective cap, parts of the upper suspension, dust seal rings, bearing rings, the eccentric of the crusher. The most time-consuming is to restore the details of the eccentric crusher. A new technology restoration worn surfaces of the eccentric part and the results of an experimental study of thermal friction treatment (TFТ) after surfacing are proposed. It is revealed that despite the high level of temperature corresponding to intensive treatment modes it is possible to achieve effective hardening. Implementation of the proposed technology allows: eliminate the undesirable effects of softening due to re-riveting and reduce the oxidized layer; increase productivity relative to mechanical cutting methods in 23 times and tool life of more than 10 times; the use of affordable cheap material steel 45, 50, 60G for the manufacture of tools and perform processing at more intensive modes S =0,2-1mm / Rev; n=2000-3000 rpm. It is established that the TFO of the deposited surface part eccentric, provides wear resistance of the treated surfaces parts in 2….8 times more than the factory processing technology, while the depth of the hardened layer can be 1.5…. 2 mm.
