Abstract. The article discusses the issues of a stable idea of themselves, about their capabilities, their preferences, this, in turn, is called "self-determination". This topic of professional self-determination of a schoolboy has always gained attention. The choice of profession depends in the future, what kind of person you will become, how the environment reacts to you, or realize yourself as a "person". Currently, "self-determination" can be considered as a psychological neoplasm of adolescence. As already mentioned, the term "self-determination" is used in different meanings. We can assert this in family, religious, professional, moral self-determination. The changes that are taking place in our country in the labor market require some modernization to solve the problem of professional self-determination of a modern student. Therefore, at the school level, this problem still remains open with vocational guidance and the choice of profession. Therefore, it is a task to correct the needs of the economy and society, to enjoy the profession. To solve these problems is called part of the propaganda, but it cannot be argued that professional enlightenment is based only on propaganda. The planned work, which is carried out at the school on campaigning and propaganda, should be carried out in accordance with the previously conceived professional organization, on the basis of such approaches it is possible to carry out appropriate work with schoolchildren and direct to sobriety of consciousness in the direction of choosing a profession. Enlightenment is based on the needs of this profession in society. Thus, it is necessary to introduce certain preparatory courses, where students are prepared for the choice of profession, take into account the skills and abilities, help to obtain an initial qualified category from a certain profession. Also, an acquaintance with the profession is carried out in order to learn it well and understand it.

Introduction. Nowadays, professional self-determination is recognized to be a significant component of education. In a rapidly changing post-industrial society, professional self-determination turns into the continuous process of forming the professional trajectory by the individual based on the available personal opportunities and requirements. To enhance the effectiveness of this process, a person who is going to enter adulthood needs assistance not only in the choice of profession, but also in search of resources for development and implementation of own educational and professional scenario which is adequate to modern realities and challenges, as well as training in independent use of these resources. In this regard, one of the main priorities of schools is to provide support to students in their professional self-determination and the help in stage-by-stage making decisions on continuation of education and further professionalization.The aimof the present research is an assessment of the state of psycho-pedagogical support for the professional self-determination of students in a modern Russian public school.Methodology and research methods. The methodological framework was the set of competency-based, practice-focused and subject approaches with the position that professional self-determination is a cross-disciplinary continuous social phenomenon. A theoretical part of the research was “The concept of maintenance of professional self-determination of students in the conditions of continuing education”. Face-to-face and online questionnaires of teachers and parents were the leading methods of a practical part of the research. The Vortex program was used to process the data obtained using methods of mathematical statistics.Results and scientific novelty. The system of school education does not cope with the vocational-oriented education duty. Based on the review of scientific and sociological sources, the authors identified the problems which do not allow optimizing vocational-oriented work at school level. The authors examined the opinions of teachers and parents of Yekaterinburg school students. The questions dealt with the process of organizing the assistance for professional self-determination of children and teenagers, and the degree of respondents’ participation in this process. The authors concluded that most of teachers and parents suggest that vocational-oriented events should be held regularly since the 7–8th grades. The overwhelming number of respondents believe that acquisition of knowledge about the world of the professions and skills is additional, but it can be involved into the study load for the fullest self-realization of a child in the future. From the point of view of parents, the most popular professions among school students were revealed and ranged. The respondents’ estimates of a contribution to professional selfdetermination of pupils of additional professional education, socially useful labour and volunteering were analyzed. Factors and prerequisites of effective vocationaloriented work were highlighted. In particular, vocational-oriented work can be successful only in case parents of students are engaged members of the process. Practical significance.The materials, conclusions and recommendations of the research can be used to enhance vocational-oriented work among teenagers and students.

The article discusses the concept of a professional test, its essence and features of organizing profes-sional tests as an effective way of professional self-determination of young people in public organiza-tions club type at the place of residence. The author investigated the issues vocational guidance work among adolescents through professional trials, the types, forms and results of passing professional tests are considered. Today, the Government of the Russian Federation is developing and implementing measures to create a favorable environment for the stable formation of the sphere additional education of children, because it is this sector of educational activities contributes to the professional definition of adolescents and represented by various organizations, including not the last place assigned to public organizations of the club type at the place of residence. Demand for the participation of children's clubs in the additional education of children caused by the recently complicating situation with the socio-cultural raising children and young people in the amid of growing concern of parents and teachers by creating a safe environment for the pastime of adolescents. A modern public organization of a club type at the place of residence acts a voluntary community of children and adolescents who are united by a common activity according to interests, and contributes to their professional self-determination and self-realization. The purpose of this work is to identify the features activities of organizations in the field of additional education for children in the process self-determination in adolescence and considering an effective way professional self-determination of young people with the help of professional tests. Research of issues of vocational guidance work of organizations in the sphere additional education of children and their role in professional self-determination adolescents was carried out on the basis of works by Russian authors, researching work in the field of additional education for children and sociological aspects of the professional self-determination role of the individual for the choice of the future profession [1-3]. The study made it possible to formulate conclusions about the demand for organizations in the field of additional education for children in the process of professional self-determination and organization of professional tests.

Optimized way to nurture parents’ readiness to guide vocational choice of their teenaged children is considered as a consistent element of vocational guidance potential and is scientifically proved. What makes the paper theoretically important, is the fact that the author clarifies the meaning for quite new concepts, as «family vocational guidance potential», «parents’ helpfulness», «successful vocational choice». Families are classified in terms of vocational guidance potential; several limitations in vocational choices of children in each category of families are outlined and illustrated by pictures and tables. Given the accented challenge of insufficient parents’ integration in vocational choices, made by their children, the idea of pilot testing described here, has been to use capabilities of additional professional education establishments to better preparing parents to the mission of facilitating the vocational choices of their children. As a result of parents-children cooperation, the parents are better prepared and eager to help their children in professional self-determination on one hand, while teenagers make more thoughtful vocational choices, on the other hand. Significant results and conclusions are provided, to prove reliability of researching hypothesis, put forward by the author.

The article analyses the methods and technologies of professional self-determination of students in the US education system. It has been found that the theory and practice of preparing students for professional self-determination has accumulated some positive experience in the development and use of activating career guidance methods and the formation and adaptation of career guidance programs with elements of activation of high school students. Also, the article presents the analysis of basic career guidance methods and technologies in the American high school. Youth is the future of our country. Therefore, it is important to create conditions for increasing the competitiveness of young professionals in the labor market. To do this, it is necessary to change the model of professional orientation of pupils in accordance with their abilities and needs of the labor market, to make it systemic and effective; as well as to coordinate the market of educational services and the labor market of a specific region, to create a developed motivational system in institutions of higher and secondary education focused on continuous education and self-improvement of a person throughout life, formation of social and professional subjectivity in student and student youth, active attitude to to himself, to his life and to the future profession. An important problem is the formation of professional self-determination in the young person himself, adequate, on the one hand, to the conditions of the regional market of educational services and the labor market, on the other - the abilities, needs and interests of the student himself. It is the active life position and the reality of requests for a future profession for students that will increase their competitiveness in the labor market. In connection with this, requirements for subjects that provide professional orientation among students of general education schools are changing, in relation to the goals, objectives and methods of this work.Professional self-determination is considered as a process of conscious and active search of a person by his place in the world of professions, developing his personal attitude to certain professions, and the choice of possible future professional activities.Professional self-determination for students is related to the orientation in the world of professions, an understanding of their own physical, mental and social capabilities, the formation of adequate, realistic professional intentions that fit the existing abilities, knowledge, skills, etc. This is the formation of his future professional image by analyzing his personality, available resources, general life self-determination of the individual, etc. It should be noted that the process of professional self-determination is rather complex and its effectiveness determines a set of objective and subjective factors.The ability to personal and professional self-determination arises and is formed when studying in higher education institutions. Professional self-determination begins with the design of the first idea of your future profession and the formation of the first professional intentions.Understanding the importance of the problem of professional self-determination of students, the Mariupol City Employment Center, together with the Department of Sociology and Social Work of the Priazovsky State Technical University, in February-March 2018 conducted a joint sociological study among students of secondary schools. Only 54% of students know which professions are most suitable for them in accordance with abilities, inclinations, types of temperament, thinking. But most students will choose a future profession that can provide them with high wages in the future. Many graduates are attracted by the prospect of opening their own businesses and going abroad.Thus, it is necessary to change the system of interaction of universities and secondary schools in the direction of effective professional orientation and involving students in the world of professions through socially useful activities. The task of subjects of professional orientation should be the formation of the necessary competences and socially significant qualities for pupils’ youth in order to increase their socio-professional subjectivity and acquaintance with the world of the profession through a system of trainings, mentoring, professional excursions and volunteering. It is then that real professional self-determination of students in the world of the profession, in accordance with their available resources and conditions of the modern labor market, will become possible.

Анализируется рефлексивность как основа самопознания и понимания себя субъектом в будущей профессиональной деятельности. Проанализированы психологические особенности профессионального становления личности в юношеском возрасте, рассмотрена специфика проявления рефлективности, выделены уровни ее развития и определена роль в профессиональном самоопределении старшеклассников. Эмпирическое исследование проведено на выборке 244 учащихся (136 девушек и 108 юношей, средний возраст - 16 лет). В исследовании были использованы: тест на выявление профессионального типа личности Дж. Холанда в модификации (Г.В. Резапкиной); методика «Мотивы выбора профессии» Г. Овчаровой; методика определения уровней развития рефлексивности А. Карпова; методика «Дифференциальный тип рефлексии» Д.А. Леонтьева и эссе на тему «Роль прошлого, настоящего и будущего в моей жизни». По результатам пилотажного этапа исследования выделены три группы респондентов с разными показателями рефлексивности. Количественный и качественный анализ показателей рефлексивности и профессионального самоопределения старшеклассников позволил установить специфическое соотношение указанных характеристик. Результаты исследования могут стать основой для развития рефлексивности старшеклассников и для создания программ актуализации их профессионального самоопределения. The analyzes reflexivity as the basis of self-knowledge and understanding of oneself as a subject in future professional activity. The psychological features of the professional formation of a personality in the youth age were analyzed, the specifics of the manifestation of reflexivity were considered, the levels of its development were singled out and the role in the professional self-determination of high school students was defined. An empirical study was carried out on a sample of 244 students (136 girls and 108 boys, average age - 16 years). In the empirical study, the following were used: the test to identify the professional type of personality of J. Holand in a modification (G.V. Rezapkina); the method «Motives for Choosing a Profession» by G. Ovcharova; Karpov's method to determine the levels of development of reflexivity; the technique «Differential Type of Reflexion» by D.A. Leontiev and the essay «The Role of the Past, Present, and Future in My Life». In the course of the empirical study, three groups of respondents with different indicators of reflexivity were identified. The quantitative and qualitative analysis of the indexes of reflexivity and professional self-determination of high school students allowed us to establish a specific correlation of these characteristics. The results of the research can become the basis both for the development of the reflexivity of high school students and for the creation of programs to actualize their professional self-determination.

The article dwells on the problem of teenagers' professional self-determination as the readiness to making choice of the profession. Psychological factors of professional self-determination of high school students are defined and theoretically substantiated. Psychological properties are investigated, the means of which is the formation of factors of senior school students’ professional self-determination. In our research by professional self-determination we mean a stable, value-oriented complex of professionally important traits and personality traits, which is characterized by a certain structure, determines the readiness of high school students to choose a profession and is formed by a number of psychological factors. We prove that the set of psychological factors of professional self-determination of high school students has a nonlinear character and multi-level structure. The purpose of the publication is to investigate the psychological factors of professional self-determination and to substantiate the need to introduce a program of psychological and pedagogical support for the development of professional self-determination of high school students. As a result of the research psychological factors of professional self-determination of high school students were established: actual motives; sufficient level of development of volitional regulation of personality; locus control; a sufficient level of the formation of reflectivity development. The conducted psycho diagnostics revealed the immaturity of psychological factors of professional self-determination among high school students; unreadiness of teenagers to make an independent, conscious professional choice. This situation requires targeted correction through the introduction of a program of psychological and pedagogical support.
