This study examines Hamka's political thinking about Islam and the State in the Basic State debate that took place in the Constituent Assembly 1956-1959. Hamka belongs to the basic group of defenders of the Islamic state with Mohammad Natsir in the Masyumi faction, fighting for Islamic law before other factions namely the Nationalists, Communists, Socialists, Catholics-Protestants and members of the Constituent Assembly who are not fractured. Specifically examines the issue of why Islam is fought for as a state basis by Hamka. and how Hamka thought about the relationship between Islam and the state. The research method used is a type of library research with literature studies or documents consisting of primary and secondary data and reinforced by interviews. The theory used in this study is the theory of religious relations (Islam) and the state. This study found the first, according to Hamka, the Islamic struggle as the basis of the state was as a continuation of the historical ideals of the Indonesian national movement. The second was found that the constituent debate was the repetition of Islamic and nationalist ideological debates in the formulation of the Jakarta Charter. Third, this study also found Hamka's view that the One and Only God Almighty means Tauhid or the concept of the Essence of Allah SWT. The implication of this research theory is to strengthen Islamic thinking legally formally, that is thinking that requires Islam formally plays a major role in state life. The conclusion is that Indonesian society is a heterogeneous society in terms of religion. This means that constitutionally the state recognizes the diversity of religions embraced by the Indonesian people and guarantees the freedom of every individual to embrace religion and realize the teachings he believes in all aspects of life. Hamka in the Constituent Assembly stated that the struggle to establish a state based on Islam rather than a secular state for Islamic groups was a continuation of the ideals of historical will.

AbstractSpiritual growth to be a blessing and influence and impact on others cannot be separated from the challenges of life. And it is part of the believer's role to be able to color and make himself a useful person. Yet the church and the believers experienced divisions that created conflict and contention so that the church could not speak or give anything to a divided, corrupted world. With the background of the problem, the author uses a library research method with a descriptive quantitative approach. So the author concludes that the role of believers as the salt of the world in Matthew 5:13, in the midst of an era of disruption, is the first Christianity that does not become tasteless. Second, Christianity must function like salt and third, Christianity must glorify God in its life. By applying to all believers, the role of Christians as the salt of the earth has an impact.Key words: Salt Of The World, Believers, The Role Of Christianity AbstrakPertumbuhan rohani untuk menjadi berkat dan pengaruh serta berdampak bagi sesama tidak lepas dari tantangan kehidupan. Dan hal itu sebagai bagian peran orang percaya untuk dapat mewarnai dan menjadikan dirinya sebagai orang yang berguna. Various legal issues that have surfaced to date cannot be separated from the development of information technology that has mastered the world map. People as consumers really need fast and cheap transportation services to transport people or goods to meet their daily needs. The presence of the Gojek and GrabCar application services is one of the solutions needed by the community at this time, but there is no legal umbrella that regulates people’s transportation services for motorbikes or motorbikes and the transportation of people or passengers to Gocar or Grabcar in private cars, causing various legal issues in its application. Legal issues that arise, are forms of legal protection for consumer users and dispute resolution due to default by one of the parties. The research method is empirical research by processing primary and secondary data, which are then analyzed qualitatively. Conclusions on the results of the discussion: a form of legal protection for consumers and drivers in the form of compensation or assistance in the amount of five to 10 million rupiahs for guaranteed protection for hospital fees and in the event of accidents and life insurance guarantees from AXA Group. The procedure for resolving a default by a Gojek-GrabCar application provider as a result of private law or civil relations is that the application service user as a party to the agreement can choose to take legal action (litigation) or peace/mediation/conciliation (non-litigation).
