The present paper shows several information instruments created in the Republic of Moldova for the purpose of ensuring transparency in science, innovation and scientific staff training. Their evolution, the way in which they could help enhancing transparency in Moldovan researchdevelopment- innovation system, shortcomings in ensuring greater visibility, have been investigated. Three information instruments developed (or under preparation) by the Information Society Development Institute have been examined in detail: i) National Bibliometric Instrument – a digital information system which is a database for collecting, classifying and processing public data on scientific publications in Moldovan scientific journals; ii) EXPERT online – an online information system for applying and assessment of draft programs and projects in the area of science and innovation; iii) Digital Map of Science – a platform in which the functions of existing systems are to be integrated under a common roof in order to provide one-stop-shop services.

The article discusses some aspects of the organization of the information system of the Archive of the First President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov. The problem of digitalization of archival activities is quite relevant for Uzbekistan due to the fact that traditional approaches to the construction of information retrieval mechanisms and the organization of information services in archiving today often do not correspond to the required level of efficiency and user needs. As part of the work carried out, the specific task was to organize a software environment for the formation of an electronic catalog of archived descriptions, filling databases of digitized copies of archival materials, as well as flexible multidimensional search and presentation of information. The way to solve this problem is to use the archival information system «AtoM». As a result, a database of digitized archival materials was created, reflecting the life and work of the First President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov, equipped with a developed search and reference apparatus.

The Doctoral Thesis has been prepared as a collection of thematically related scientific publications comprising five publications in the SCI journals, one patent of the Republic of Latvia, and one application for patent of the Republic of Latvia. We have carried out fundamental research on the applications of SO2 as a solvent and reagent in organic synthesis. We have developed several novel synthetic methods that represent the use of liquid SO2 as a solvent for chemical transformations that proceed via carbenium ion intermediates: a) hydration of aryl acetylenes; b) hydrohalogenation of aryl acetylenes; c) ring opening of methylenecyclopropanes with halides; d) glycosylation with glycosyl fluorides. By employing DABSO as an SO2 surrogate, we have also discovered the catalytic activity of Ru(II) complexes towards sulfonylative cross coupling reaction. This finding has been applied for the synthesis of sulfonyl derived compounds.

The evolving digitization of teaching and learning in higher education institutions requires students to be digitally literate (Miller 2015). Despite the echoes of being “digital natives” (Prensky 2001), many EFL students experience difficulties when locating, retrieving, evaluating, and synthesizing digital information at their disposal, especially when the information is in English. To this end, this study is conducted to scrutinize the relationship between EFL students’ second language (L2) digital literacy skills and strategies (DLSs) self-efficacy and their English proficiency level. A total of 93 Saudi students majoring in English at Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University were surveyed for their English proficiency level and their abilities to use three major domains of digital literacy skills. The data were analyzed statistically using descriptive measures and ANOVA. The results revealed a significant positive correlation between English proficiency and L2 DLSs. Students with intermediate and upper-intermediate English levels displayed low efficacy in their abilities to navigate, evaluate, and synthesize online information compared to advanced English users. The study concluded that students with higher English proficiency are more responsive to digital literacy skills and can perform well in digitally enhanced environments than basic English users. Pedagogical implications and areas for future research are discussed.

Current web-based administrative services are not only for government at the city or regional level, but now the village also needs it to support its government activities. According to Law No. 6 of 2014 the village is a legal community unit that has the territorial boundaries that are authorized to regulate and administer government affairs, the interests of the local community based on community initiatives, original rights, and / or traditional rights that are recognized and respected in the Republic of the Republic of Republic's government system. Indonesia. In the current technological era, there are many services for villages that use and utilize information technology so that the service process becomes easier, more transparent and faster. For this reason, in this study we had the opportunity to develop a web-based Village Service Information System in Leran village, in developing the system this time we used a prototyping method. This system will have several features, including: making independent reports, submitting a letter of introduction from the village and online, making a biodata of the village community, and also containing the profile of the village of Leran. The results of this research are a village service information system that can help the work of government officials in the village of Leran, and also facilitate the villagers in obtaining information about services or other information in the village of Leran.

Aim. To develop the National Plant Gene Pool Information System for the effective exchange of information and targeted use of this information in different research programs as well as for cooperation with regional and international organizations on the basis of intellectual property rights. Results and Discussion. This study was aimed at solving a set of interrelated objectives to compile a computer database of characteristics of the Global Collection of Agricultural Genetic Resources. The platform for this database was harmonized and systematized crop descriptors, which are the main component of the National Information System. As a part of these studies, the PGR Documentation Unit at the National Genebank of the Research Institute of Plant Genetic Resources worked at constructing data queries for presentation in the Information System forms. The tool part of the CAC-DB information system, where one can generate any query at one’s discretion by selecting data using the Query tools, served as a basis for this work. Seventeen types of queries for general use and 4 types of report templates were designed. The National Information System on Plant Genetic Resources, which is being developed at the Research Institute of Plant Genetic Resources, will make it possible to increase the efficiency of its storage, documentation, management and use through the exchange of information and germplasm, and will ensure the transition of genetic and breeding studies to a new technological level, increasing its effectiveness. Conclusions. The developed National Information System is unique and selective. It will concentrate comprehensive information on the plant gene pool of the Republic, as it is specific for Central Asia and the Southern Caucasus, having no analogues in the world.
