Kapulasan is one of horticultural plants derived from tropical region that has significant economic value. One of the obstacles in cultivating the plant is that kapulasan has flowering type of androdioceus, i.e. the male and the female flowers are separated. Female flowers produce hermaphroditic flowers that can produce fruits while the male ones will not produce fruits. In the cultivation of the plant, it is very difficult to determine the female flowers if they are propagated by seeds. It takes up to 7 years to determine the nature of the flowering. One of the important steps that can be done is through a system of early detection using molecular marks. RAPD technique as a simple technique can be used to distinguish the characteristics. The results of the research show that of the 250 primers used, the OPM-09 primer produces female sex bands related to the controller of the female kapulasan plants of which the ribbon produced is 512 bp in size.

From the extensive source material, three sex types of squash are distinguished. For differentiation, two indicators of the degree of sexualization were used: the beginning of the formation of female flowers and their number. Enhancing the manifestation of the female type of flowering is facilitated by complex crossings. This ensures the unification of different hereditary factors in one genotype. Summer sowing significantly reduces the expression of the female sex and makes it possible to isolate lines with a guaranteed high expression of the trait having from 25% to 90% of female plants.

How to maintain a comfortable indoor environment without excessively relying on mechanical HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) is a target to be pursued for future living requirements. The results obtained in this research show that in an office environment, the room temperature monitored during winter is close to the comfortable temperature; however, the office occupants feel that a little warmer indoor temperature is comfort. During summer, the occupants prefer cooler temperature than the comfort temperature. Additionally, Taiwan is located in sub-tropical region with hot and humid summer. Even if the room temperature is maintained in a comfortable range, the occupants still feel not so comfortable because of high humidity. Hence, reducing the room temperature below 23 °C is inferred to make occupants feel comfortable. Questionnaire survey indicates that ventilation is preferred by 30.9% of the respondents for summer and 43.3% for winter as an effective method to improve the stuffy indoor air.

Dioscorea a well-known source of Diosgenin-steroid raw material, is one of the oldest tuber crop cultivated or harvested from wild in the tropical region throughout the world and make up one of the chief food items for a number of tribal groups. In India there are about 50 species of dioscorea, mainly found in North-East region which is rich in tropical root and tuber crops. Dioscorea produces rhizomes or bulbils, which are having rich medicinal and economic value. The rhizomes are used for the treatment of different diseases like cardiovascular system disorders, central nervous system disorders, disease of bones and joint metabolic disorder, disgestive disorders, sore throat for struma, diarrhea, irritability, abdominal pain, dysfunctional changes in the female reproductive system, skin diseases, oncology and immune deficiency and autoimmune diseases, anti-diabetes, neuroprotectiveused, decrease oxidative stress and many more disordered conditions. Diosgenin is a precursor for the chemical synthesis of drug like steroids and has a great importance for pharmaceutical industry. Dioscorea contains various bioactive chemical substances like diosgenin, corticosterone, and sigmasterol, which are of great market value. The current study is to appraise the medicinal properties, phytochemicals, and pharmacological activities of Dioscorea.

Commodities are products with low economic value, but when related to experience, they can turn into profitable businesses. In the present work, the authors seek to understand consumer behavior in the coffee industry, guided by the following research question: How can customer experience affect price perception? To answer this question, the researchers conducted an analysis using the four realms of experience from Pine and Gilmore (1999, 2011) – entertainment, education, esthetics, and escapist – and how they behave according to different kinds of customer experience, as well as their relation to price perception. To understand this, the authors conducted qualitative research with 40 consumers in two important coffee companies: Starbucks and Costa Coffee. The coffee shops analyzed are located in the city of Marbella, Spain. The results of this research show that customers are aware of the price discrepancy, but still frequenting coffee shops for different experiences according to their interests. This work is groundbreaking because of the analysis of the four realms of experience and its correlation with the price perception. The authors also introduced to the customer experience field the analysis of the four realms in the coffee shop industry. Finally, from the research results, the authors suggest various managerial practices that can improve customer experience and the perception of prices.

Introduction: As early detection of hydronephrosis increases, we require better methods of distinguishing between pediatric patients who require pyeloplasty vs. those with transient obstruction. Gravity-assisted drainage (GAD) as part of a standardized diuretic renography protocol has been suggested as a simple and safe method to differentiate patients.

Methods: Renal scans of 89 subjects with 121 hydronephrotic renal units between January 2004 and March 2007 were identified and analyzed.

Results: Of all renal units, 65% showed obstruction. GAD maneuver resulted in significant residual tracer drainage in eight renal units, moderate drainage in 12 renal units, and some improvement in 40 units after the GAD maneuver. Of the eight renal units with significant residual tracer drainage, only two proceeded to pyeloplasty. After pyeloplasty, nine children had improved time to half maximum (T1/2 Max) and 13 were unchanged.

Conclusions: Our study was limited due to its retrospective design and descriptive analyses, but includes a sufficient number of subjects to conclude that GAD as part of a diuretic renography protocol is an effective and simple technique that can help prevent unnecessary surgical procedures in pediatric patients.

In many low-temperature areas, the environmental factor is an important limiting factor for the production and distribution of horticultural plants. This study aimed to investigate the cold tolerance of the male catkins and inoculated female flowers to screen the popular native hazelnut cultivars in Qazvin under low-temperature stress. A completely randomized factorial block design with three replications was used in this experiment with eight cultivars (Nakhnroud, Khandan, Mish-Pestan, South of Qarabagh, Asl-e-Qarabagh, Rasmi, and Gerdashkevar). After removing each of the treated samples at the end of the experiment, the samples were examined morphologically (appearance) and compared with the control. The changes were recorded as qualitative traits. To understand the influence of cold stress on reproductive organs, hydrogen peroxide and proline were measured. The results showed the onset of freezing in unopened male catkins at -7 and -9 °C and in inoculated female flowers at -3 °C. Damage to unopened male catkins' tissue occurred at -11 °C and in female flowers at -5 °C. The highest value observed among cultivars in the case for proline content of male catkins was in Mish-Pestan and Khandan cultivars with 0.816 and 0.660 µmol/ g FW, respectively. In inoculated female flowers, Mish-Pestan and Tabestaneh cultivars with 0.185 and 0.168 µmol/ g FW, respectively, showed the highest statistically significant increase in proline content. Interestingly, the cultivars with the highest proline content in male catkins indicated the most increase in H2O2; Mish-Pestan and Khnadan with 0.569 and 0.541 ug/g FW, respectively. Asl-eQarabagh was observed to have the least H2O2 content (0.042 ug/g FW) among cultivars. Again, in inoculated female flowers, those with the highest concentration of proline (Mish-Pestan and Tabestaneh) were found to have the highest H2O2 content (0.335 and 0.331 ug/g FW, respectively

This study aims to determine how the requirements for transferring economic rights to copyright optimization as a Fiduciary Guarantee in increasing business productivity, how to determine the economic value in optimizing Copyright as Fiduciary Guarantee in increasing business productivity, and what are the roles and responsibilities of a Notary in making a Guarantee Act. Fiduciary on Copyright in increasing business productivity. The theory used is utility / utilitarianism theory, reward theory, legal certainty theory, and legal responsibility theory. The results of the study show that copyright can be an object of Fiduciary Guarantee due to exclusive rights, namely economic rights owned by the copyright owner. The method used is a normative legal research method. Techniques for studying and analyzing legal materials are using documentary studies. The results of the research show that copyright can be used as an object of Fiduciary Security because copyright is a movable object that is not tangible and that can be transferred to only economic rights to be guaranteed. The requirements for the transfer of economic rights follow the procedures stipulated by UUJF. The current method of assessing the economic value of a Copyright is by using quantitative methods. It consists of a market approach, an income approach and a cost approach. The role of the notary in this case in making the fiduciary guarantee deed has been mentioned in Article 5 paragraph (1) of the UUJF and is based on the responsibilities in effect since taking the oath of office as regulated in Article 65 of the UUJN. Notaries do not participate and are responsible for determining the economic value of a copyright. This is the duty and authority of the Appraisal Agency.
