The online learning platform (OLS) is currently the new normal learning setting amidst the Covid-19 pandemic. Teachers need to look on the other side of the traditional classroom-based learning mode to make teaching and learning in the new normal possible. It aimed to analyze the current state of the teacher education freshmen applicants concerning the new normal learning platforms. This study employed a descriptive method of research and considered a sample of 85 freshmen applicants in the College of Teacher Education in the academic year 2020-2021. The frequencies and percent value was used to analyze the data gathered. The following are the verdicts of the study, the bulk of the respondents belong to low-income families with farming as their family source of income. Most of the respondents have their mobile phones while the great majorities are using mobile data only. All of the respondents do not have any idea about the different platforms in online learning. Based on the findings, the researcher concluded that the freshmen applicants in the College of Teacher Education cannot totally survive and are not yet ready to embrace the new normal learning platforms due to poverty and lack of resources. It is therefore recommended that the University administration needs to open other sources of learning platforms such as the use of printed learning materials of which will be delivered door-to-door to the students. Besides, the College of Teacher Education should plan and initiate on how to make learning flexible and more engaging.

In a world in which digital interfaces, dematerialization, automation, so-called tools of artificial intelligence aim to drive away the human or eliminate the relationship with humans! The way other beings see us is important. What would happen if we took the full measure of this idea? How would this affect our understanding of society, culture, and the world we inhabit? How would this affect our understanding of the human, since in this world beyond the human, we sometimes find things that we prefer to attribute only to ourselves? What impacts on education, learning, teaching? After having explored the field opened by these questions, we will bring an answer with a reinvention of the learning platform named KOALA (KnOwledge Aware Learning Assistant). KOALA is a new online learning platform that comes back to internet sources. Symmetrical and acentric, KOALA combines analyzes from the digital humanities and answers to the challenges of education in the 21st century

E-learning platforms are becoming more and more common in education and with organisations. They are seen as a complementary tool to support learning or, as in many cases, as the primary tool to do it (possibly the only one). In traditional learning, teachers can easily get an insight into how their students work and learn, and how they interact in the classroom. However, in online learning, it is more difficult for teachers to see how individual students behave. Affective states and learning styles are determinant in students’ performance. Together with stress, these are crucial factor to success. It is believed that the sole use of an E-learning platform can in itself be a cause of stress for students. Estimating, in a non-invasive way, such parameters, and taking measures to deal with them, are then the goal of this paper. We do not consider the use of dedicated sensors (invasive) such as special gloves or wrist bracelets since we intend not to be dependent on specific hardware and also because we believe that such specific hardware can induce for itself some alteration in the parameters being analysed. Our work focuses on the development of a new module (Dynamic Recognition Module) to incorporate in Moodle E-learning platform, to accommodate individualized support to E-learning students.

Due to Covid-19 and Movement Control Order (MCO) policy, Malaysian Higher Learning institution has decided to shift the learning into online learning mode. In this research, we examined the readiness and attitude of the Media and Communication undergraduate students for online learning platform during pandemic. A total of 144 students’ responses and Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) were used as theoretical framework. Research data were analyzed using SPSS and exploratory factor analysis (EFA) was utilised to extract the prominent factors. Component based examined using eigenvalue, scree plot and rotation was done by varimax method. The items with 0.5 loading or greater were considered significant. The findings showed that Perceived Usefulness was determined by two significant indicators, i.e. enhancing effectiveness in learning and improving learning performance with factor loadings; .869 and .849 consecutively. Attitude factor loading, meanwhile, showed that two indicators played a dominant role; using online learning is a bad idea throughout the coursework and positive attitude towards online learning and usefulness towards study; .762 and .816. The attitude of the students displayed unhappiness using the online learning platform for the entire semester due to the limitation of face-to-face (F2F) lab classes such as studio-based learning. However, the students had no problem in understanding the online platform utilized.

The Covid-19 pandemic has an impact on changing learning methods from face-to-face earning to online learning. Learning ctivities that were originally carried out in schools because of the pandemic must be carried out at home. This learning method then made many teachers use various online learning media as an alternative learning method which turned out to cause many complaints from students. The application of online learning due to changes in learning methods is a phenomenon that is studied more deeply by researchers using a descriptive qualitative approach. There are three kinds of data collection techniques used in this research, namely observation, documentation, and the interview. All data obtained by the researcher were analyzed in detail, then the validity of the data was carried out using triangulation technique. The findings of this study indicate that Google Classroom learning platform is preferred by teachers over other learning platforms such as Edmodo, WhatsApp Group, Zoom.us, and Google Meet. Google Classroom learning platform is considered effective by teachers and easily accessed by students so that students can learn independently. Many learning features make it easier for teachers to create, modify, and monitor learning so that learning is more interesting, flexible, and a collection of student assignments can be known in more detail.

Most students are not actively concerned about curriculum activity times. However, without reminders, students will miss out on learning opportunities from the course activities. Therefore, due to the use of smartphones — which are central to people's everyday lives —, this study combined apps and the curriculum to develop a course activity notification system — Mobile Secretary of Operating Systems (MSOS) —, as a curriculum reminder tool. This tool reminds the student of the curriculum activity times anytime and anywhere, like a secretary. This study also investigates students’ preferences between three distinct reminder tools — the reminder app, e-mail notifications and online learning platform announcements — in terms of their effectiveness in accessing curriculum-related matters, and in previewing and reviewing courses. Additionally, the study examines the efficacy of the MSOS app by comparing the questionnaire results of the students who used the app and those who did not use it. From the results of the questionnaire, it is also ascertained whether those students who used MSOS consider the app to be more convenient and immediate than e-mail notifications and the online learning platform, both in giving access to curriculum-related matters and in previewing and reviewing courses.

Approximately 50% of all individuals with Autism have difficulties in developing functional language owing to communication deterioration. An online learning platform that provides educational games help these individuals feel more comfortable and relaxed doing such activities. Although numerous platforms are available for individuals with Autism, they are difficult to use; particularly in terms of user-interface design. In this paper, we present the design and develop online learning platforms, designed as a tool to encourage social interaction in autistic children. The proposed system was analyzed, design and developed using the Unified Modeling Language (UML) and ASP.NET.
