Mangoes are a widely available type of fruit during the harvest seasons in Kaibobu Village, West Seram, Western Seram Regency, Maluku Province. However, there have been no innovative measures to preserve the mangoes to be consumed outside their harvest seasons. Thus, there should be a training program that focuses on mango processing techniques employed to increase the storability of these mangos while maintaining their nutrient compositions. One such technique is fruit leather. Targeting the family empowerment women groups in Kaibobu Village, the training activities aimed to boost the people’s knowledge and skills in utilizing the potentials of mangoes processed into fruit leather. The activities included both education and training sessions. These community service activities have run well and provided various benefits to the people of Kaibobu Village. The community participation in the program was also evident, as seen from their enthusiasm when they joined both education and training sessions. The participants have garnered more knowledge about mangoes’ nutritional values, technology to process mangoes into fruit leather, and product packaging through the education activities. They also better understood the importance of mango processing and had better skills in processing mangoes into fruit leather. Lastly, the participants received the equipment needed to process their mangoes into fruit leather.

Covid 19 pandemic has an impact on Indonesian economy, corona impact is also experienced by people who work as shoes and sandal tailors around Mojokerto city. Their income has decreased because there are no buyers to buy their products. The purpose of this community service activity is to sharing knowledge to the community to be able to make 2 –layers fabric masks, drive the community's economy and support the demand of mask commodities in the prevention of Covid-19. The method is to provide education and training in sewing 2-layer fabric masks. Their sewing skills that they have before make education and training process getting easy, they are previously sewed shoes and sandals now turn to sew cloth masks, cloth masks made from cotton fabrics consists of 2 layers. The supply of medical masks is quite rare and is intended for medical personnel so 2-layers fabric masks are considered capable of suppressing the spread of corona virus. From the results of education and training in sewing and producing masks, data and information were obtained that the people of Mojokerto were able to produce 2-layer fabric masks and run of their economy so that they did not experience significant losses.

Salah satu masalah yang dihadapi Indonesia terhadap masalah kualitas Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM) adalah masalah gizi. Masalah gizi yang dihadapi salah satunya adalah masih tinggi jumlah anak diindonesia yang tinggi badannya di bawah standart atau pendek (stunting). Stunting merupakakan salah masalah multisektoral baik dari bidang kesehatan, pertanian, ekonomi maupun sosial. Salah satu intervensi yang bisa diberikan adalah pemantauan tumbuh kembang anak, penatalaksanaan gizi kurang/buruk, promosi kesehatan dan lain sebagainya. Intervensi yang diberikan pada pengabdian masyarakat in adalah pendidikan dan pelatihan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat akan stunting dan bahayanya, juga sosialisasi guna meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang pencegahan stunting Stunting is one of the main multisector problems in the health, agriculture, economy and social sectors. One of the interventions that can be given is management of malnutrition and health improvement. The interventions provided in this community service are education and training involving the role of the family in nutrition gardening activities around the house to provide healthy food with the nutrition awareness family program (KADARZI). This community service activity aims to increase the role and empowerment of families in efforts to prevent stunting through a nutrition garden. This family empowerment method is carried out by providing health education and socialization, land use training and making complementary foods for breast milk. This training activity was attended by 30 people. The results of the evaluation of activities from the first meeting to the last obtained the results before the training activities were that the level of knowledge was mostly lacking  namely 73% and after participating in activities and training the level of knowledge increased to good knowledge of  81%. This KADARZI training is an effort to help mothers save on shopping expenses for purchasing vegetables, this is because it has been fulfilled by planting vegetables around their home land.

ABSTRACT. Ovitrap which has been widely known as a mosquito trap tool has not been widely used by the people of Bali. The introduction of ovitrap to the Batubulan Kangin Village community is the goal of community service activities in order to be able to use cheap, easy, and safe mosquito trap equipment, with the hope that it will be able to increase the rate of larval free. The method used by the Team is to provide counseling and provide training in making ovitraps and placing ovitraps inside and outside the home. The results of community service activities succeeded in increasing public knowledge about the benefits of ovitrap, how to make ovitrap, attractants and how to install it around their homes. The counseling and training activities held in the Batubulan Kangin Village Office Hall, Sukawati District, Gianyar regency attended by 52 people consisting of Puskesmas Staff, Jumantik, Village Health Cadres, and Hamlet Heads. Of the 9 Jumantik who took part in the outreach activities, immediately conducted socialization and invited 71 residents to use Ovitrap in their homes.Besides succeeding in changing the public's knowledge about mosquito eradication techniques, this service also succeeded in increasing the larva free rate from 54.9% to 95.8%.Keywords: ovitrap, attractant, larva free number

Digitalization has transformed all aspects of life, from social interactions to the working environment and education, something that accelerated with the emergence of COVID-19. The same stands for education and training activities, where the use of digital tools has been gradually advancing and become merely online because of the virus. This brought forth the need to discuss further the applications, benefits, and challenges of digital tools within the framework of the education and training process, and the need to study examples of successful applications. ABSTRACT -  Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) also known as UMKM is growing rapidly and has become one of many sectors to support the Indonesian Economy. The lack of ability to have NPWP has been a problem for UMKM and also people. The same problem also found at UMKM in Kangkung Village. The purpose of this community service is to train the entrepreneurs about preparing and register oneself to get a NPWP. This community service is consist of four steps which started by survey of service location then collecting data on village potentials and the role of the community , Preparation for the implementation of assistance and training and training activities. After participating in the training, the entrepreneurs become more understanding and can register NPWP. The Grajagan village had a library located at the village office. So far, the library has not been managed and utilized optimally. The problems that occur in this library include the lack of book collections, the absence of chairs and tables for readers, the condition of the library is not well organized, and the library staff were not trained in managing the library. These problems have resulted in the low interest of the people of Grajagan village to visit the village library. To solve the problems, it was necessary to provide assistance in library development. Library development is carried out through the addition of book collections, providing chairs and tables for readers, arranging library space, and training for library staff. Based on the results of community service activities that have been carried out, it can be stated that the library's book collection has increased by 88 books, the library space becomes more comfortable with the increase in furniture, and the library staff has increased their knowledge in terms of library management. To further increase the role and function of the library, promotion or introduction to the library's book collections and facilities to local villagers is required.

This type of research is qualitative research. Bogdan and Taylor (in Moleong, 2015 : 4) said that qualitative is one of the research procedures that analyzes descriptive data in the form of speech or writing and the behavior of the people observed. This research uses the literature method. Educators are professionals who are tasked with planning the learning process, assessing learning outcomes, conducting mentoring and training, and conducting research and community service, especially in tertiary education. Academic qualifications are the minimum level of education an educator must have. Competence as a place of learning in basic and middle education and education in early childhood includes padadogic competence, personal competence, professional potential, and social potential.

Abstrak   Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilakukan melalui bentuk kegiatan sosialisasi dan pelatihan tentang pengolahan sampah di Desa Tempursari, Kecamatan Tempursari, Kabupaten Lumajang, Jawa Timur pada tanggal 12-17 Juli 2017.  Permasalahan sampah menjadi permasalahan yang belakangan sangat banyak dikeluhkan oleh masyarakat secara khusus di desa Tempursari. Kerjasama yang solid antara semua stakeholder diharapkan dalam penanganan dan pemecahan permasalahan sampah ini, seperti yang sudah dilakukan oleh masyarakat Desa Tempursari dengan kehadiran Gereja Kristen Jawa Wetan (GKJW) yang menjadi fasilitator dalam penanganan sampah di desa Tempursari. Dalam rangka mengembangkan program yang sudah disusun dan akan dijalankan, GKJW bekersama dengan Universitas Kristen Indonesia Jakarta dalam beberapa hal terkait pengolahan sampah tersebut, di antaranya mensosialisasikan pemahaman tentang sampah (jenis dan dan dampak yang ditimbulkan), bagaimana mengolah sampah sesuai dengan jenisnya dan membantu mengoperasikan mesin pencacah sampah plastik dan sampah organik lainnya. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dinilai memberikan dampak positif, di mana mesin pencacah yang tadinya sudah lama tidak berfungsi menjadi beroperasi dengan operator yang yang sudah mahir atau fasih, masyarakat mampu memilah sampah dimulai dari tia-tiap rumah tangga sebelum selanjutnya diserahkan ke tim pengolah yang sudah ditunjuk oleh gereja. Akhirnya setelah kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat bersama dengan GKJW Tempursari, maka program pelayanan masyarakat melalui pengolahan sampah oleh GKJW Tempursari mulai berjalan lancar.   Kata Kunci: sampah organik, mesin pencacah   Abstract The community service activities were carried out through the form of socialization and training activities on waste management in Tempursari Village, Tempursari District, Lumajang Regency, East Java. The problem of garbage has become a very recent problem that is very much complained by the community specifically in the village of Tempursari. Solid cooperation between all stakeholders is expected in handling and solving these waste problems, as has been done by the people of Desa Tempursari with the presence of the Gereja Kristen Jawa Wetan (GKJW) who became a facilitator in handling waste in the village of Tempursari. In order to develop a program that has been compiled and will be implemented, GKJW cooperates with the Universitas Kristen Indonesia Jakarta in several matters related to waste management, including socializing understanding of waste (types and impacts), how to process waste according to its type and helping operate plastic waste chopping machines and other organic waste. The results of community service activities are considered to have a positive impact, where the enumerating machines that have not been functioning for a long time become operational with operators who are already proficient or fluent, the community is able to sort waste starting from each household before being submitted to the processing team who has been appointed by the church. Finally after the community service activities together with GKJW Tempursari, the community service program through processing waste by GKJW Tempursari began to run smoothly.   Keywords: organic waste, chopping machine
