The modern level of development of volleyball demands high-quality approach to physical fitness of the player. The efficiency of educational and training process and effectiveness of game activity of the volleyball player depends on his overall, technical and tactical and psychological physical conditioning. There is no effective technique considering specific features of players when training college teams now. During the main training time of the training process, much attention is paid to the technical and tactical actions of the player. For general and special physical training of volleyball players special conditions and additional training time are necessary. The lack of such conditions in most student volleyball teams significantly reduces the game result as a whole. In search of a way out of the current problem, we have developed a method of education of physical capable taking into account the peculiarities of game actions of volleyball players. On the basis of the individual approach, and taking into account the training conditions of the male team of OGU, a program of general and special physical training was drawn up for each volleyball player, depending on his playing function on the site. At the final stage of our experiment, the player 's physical and special-physical preparedness rates increased markedly. The level of endurance of anaerobic character, jump endurance, high-speed endurance of attacking players, “libero,” defenders increased by 30%. The level of speed and speed-force abilities of volleyball players with different game role increased from 25–37 %. The obtained data of the study showed that the use of the technique developed by us of physical preparation of volleyball player significantly improved physical preparation of each player with different roles, and performance of the team as a whole.Key words: volleyball, physical fitness, player role.

The importance of physical culture and sports in human life, associated with maintaining the health of the nation as a whole and ensuring individual health and working capacity of the individual in particular, is realized in the form of physical education carried out in educational institutions, including universities. A high level of physical fitness of students will ensure their ability to perform high-quality future work activities. In order to assess the level of physical fitness of students within the framework of their physical education at the university, it is possible to use the standards of the GTO complex as a universal evaluation mechanism that allows identifying the most physically developed representatives of this generation. The purpose is to determine the compliance of the level of physical fitness of modern students of non-physical education specialties with the norms of the GTO complex and to identify on this basis ways to improve the physical training of students in the conditions of a modern university. The materials for the study were theoretical and empirical data obtained on the basis of the use of methods of theoretical analysis of special literature and advanced pedagogical experience, pedagogical experiment, control tests, mathematical and statistical methods of data processing and analysis. When studying the advanced pedagogical experience accumulated in our country since the introduction of the revived GTO standards in 2014, reflected in relevant publications, as well as scientific and methodological literature in the field of physical education, it was shown that at present the level of physical fitness of students does not always meet the requirements of GTO standards. This fact was proved experimentally, by conducting control tests on the basis of the Mari State University. This indicated that additional work is required on the physical training of students, and those indicators of physical fitness of students that require the greatest development were also identified. Methodological recommendations were formulated to improve the physical training of students in accordance with the standards of the GTO. The expediency of using the GTO standards as a system for assessing students’ physical fitness was theoretically justified and empirically proved.

One of the most important problems of training volleyball players is the development of motor abilities and, in particular, endurance. Many researchers note that endurance is a common property of the human body, which finds a specific manifestation in various types of motor activity, including sports. In other cases, endurance is the ability of the body to perform any physical activity for a long time without reducing its effectiveness, in other words, endurance is opposed to the process of fatigue. A number of authors, along with General and special endurance, distinguish high-speed, high-speed-power, power, local, regional, global, and in some cases universal, long-term, short-term, and static endurance as a type of special endurance. A common component for all types of endurance is volitional tension, through which the intensity is maintained, but up to a certain limit. However, endurance should be distinguished from such a concept as human performance. Despite various formulations, all authors agree that efficiency is the maximum work that a person can do, that is, the ability to perform the maximum amount of work possible for them. Now the effectiveness of aerobics is generally recognized. Aerobics is a set of endurance exercises that last for a relatively long t ime and are associated with achieving a balance between the body's oxygen needs and its delivery. The body's response to increased oxygen demand is called a training effect or positive physical shifts. To develop such physical qualities as endurance, volleyball players need to include various types of physical training in their training. When performing physical exercises, some changes occur in the body: the total volume of blood increases so much that the ability to transport oxygen improves, and therefore the athlete shows greater endurance during strenuous physical exertion. Having analyzed the modern scientific and methodological literature and the latest ways of using fitness varieties. We can say that fitness technologies develop, strengthen, correct and generally improve the physical fitness of athletes, as well as improve the individual physical quality of each athlete, which required more attention. Aerobics helps to cope with physical and emotional stress. Therefore, volleyball athletes who include in their training fitness programs aerobic load much faster improve their physical qualities, namely endurance.

Our study deals with long-term monitoring of physical fitness of soldiers, namely members of the 31st Regiment specialising in Radiation, Chemical and Biological Protection (prchbo) in order to determine whether the annual fitness test has rising trend, or in another words, whether the military service physical training process is fittingly effective. The study was carried out by comparing the assessment of physical fitness each year between 2012 and 2019. The monitored group consisted of 316 professional soldiers, who participated in this assessment regularly, without interruption in the same disciplines. Due to the managed long-term military physical training process, overall improvement in the strength and endurance disciplines throughout the monitoring period took place. Men improved by 0.32 sit-ups, 0.74 push-ups and 0.24 pull-ups in the strength tests. Women improved by 0.83 sit-ups and 0:21 min in pull-ups endurance test. Men improved by 55.8 meters in Cooper test and 0:17 min in swimming in the endurance tests. Women improved by 135.6 meters in Cooper test. Increase in the number of overall rating excellent and good and decrease in the assessment of satisfactory and unsatisfactory occurred concurrently in men throughout the monitoring period. Significant increase in the number of excellent assessments, while at the same time reduction in the number of evaluations good and satisfactory occurred in women. None of the women was assessed as unsatisfactory during the whole monitoring period. Based on the acquired data, it may be stated that in the monitored years, the annual testing showed rising trend and thus the efficiency of the in-service physical training process proved to be good and appropriate.

Purpose: theoretically and experimentally substantiate the model of the development of physical qualities of karatekas in the conditions of the training process in a sports school. Material and methods: young men (25 people) of 10th - 11th grades of Lutsk secondary schools took part in the study. Research methods: data analysis of special scientific and methodical literature, pedagogical methods, methods of mathematical statistics. Results: each training block includes 3 test exercises that were included in the karate training process. First and after the block was included in the training process, the young men, who were engaged in the experimental group, performed tests, and the results were collected. The results of the conducted pedagogical experiment revealed the effectiveness of the proposed model for the development of physical qualities of karatekas in the training process. Analysis of the data characterizing the state of physical fitness and physical development allows us to state that there is a significant improvement in indicators in the experimental group as compared to the control group. The results obtained, both in general and with special physical fitness in the experimental group, show that significant differences are observed in the tests: "running in place with a high hip lift", "running from a high start to 30 meters", "bending forward from a position lying on his stomach”,“raising straight legs to the sides”, “raising straight arms up while lying on his stomach”, “shuttle”running 3x10 m, “jumping with 180º rotation”, “three forward turns while maintaining balance”. In terms of physical readiness indicators in the experimental group, the results are higher than in the control group. The increase in results in the test "running in place with a high hip lift" was 17.88 % in the experimental group, 6.6 % - in the control; in the test "running 30 meters" - 14.4 % - in the experimental group, in the control group - 4.8 %; in the test "lifting from parterre to standing" - 30.8 % - in the experimental group, 7.9 % - in the control; in the test "bending forward from a sitting position, legs apart" - 25.0 % - in the experimental group, 93.0 % in the control; in the test "dilution of straight legs to the sides" - 35.0 % in the experimental group, 17.4 % - in the control; in the test "raising arms up from a prone position" - 43.6 % in the experimental group, 19.7 % in the control group. These tests determined those physical qualities that were purposefully developed in the training process of the experimental group separately according to the developed block model of the development of physical qualities. In terms of physical development, significant differences are observed in the experimental group in the indicator - the strength of the right and left hand, where the increase in results is 7.9 %, respectively; in the control group, there is an increase in the indicator of the strength of the right hand - 1.3 %. Conclusions: training blocks are implemented in one of three parts of training sessions, depending on the quality being developed, based on the active use of the in-line method of motor actions fulfillment and includes specially selected complexes of test exercises aimed at speed, flexibility, dexterity. The development of physical qualities among karatekas in the traini ng process provides effective indicators of physical fitness, testifies to the feasibility of using the proposed model to improve the process of physical training in sports schools.

The article substantiates the need to develop scientifically grounded criteria for controlling the fitness of freestyle wrestlers; the criteria and standards for assessing the fitness of freestyle wrestlers 15-16 years are proposed. It is necessary to systematically control the effectiveness of the process of training athletes by assessing their physical condition in general and physical fitness in particular. An important component of controlling the freestyle wrestlers training is assessing their fitness. Taking into account the age patterns in the structure of motor abilities of young athletes increases the objectivity of control at any stage of long-term sports improvement in free wrestling. Factor analysis was conducted to investigate the relationships and the importance of the individual motor and functional indicators of freestyle wrestlers. The structure of physical fitness of young freestyle wrestlers aged 15-16 who study at the specialized stage of basic training includes 5 factors: maximum and speed strength, speed and force endurance, special endurance, endurance and frequency of movements, agility. The structure of physical fitness of young freestyle wrestlers aged 15-16 reflects the content of control in the physical training process and serves as a basis for developing appropriate assessment criteria. In order to realize the objectives of the study, a three-level differentiated assessment of the development of components of the physical fitness of the freestyle wrestlers of 15-16 years was developed. The defined criteria allow to carry out operative control of physical fitness of athletes at the stage of specialized basic training in free wrestling, and thus give an opportunity to receive operative information on the state of physical and psychophysiological abilities of the specified contingent to evaluate the effectiveness of the content of physical training. The proposed criteria and standards allow the assessment to diagnose the most significant and informative physical qualities and strength of the nervous system and evaluate these indicators at three levels - high, medium and low.
