The paper reports research on computer science teachers’ readiness to develop computer didactic games and implement them into the educational process. Today’s teacher of computer science has to acquire and improve professional competencies in line with modern trends of high technological society. It is a process that we consider in the context of life-long education. The use of computer didactic games is one of the forms of innovative education, which increases the attractiveness of education, generates the development of learners’ endeavour and creativity. The authors emphasize that computer science teachers’ readiness to use computer didactic games becomes impossible without mastering the methodology of pedagogical endeavours and gaming technologies in education. By this, we mean a search for more efficient ways of achieving pedagogical goals, the ability to select computer didactic games and a search for ways of their successful realization in professional activities. Development of computer didactic games requires a computer science teacher to learn methodology and standards within this domain, and to obtain the basic knowledge of environment and skills to use in games development. Our survey revealed that the use of computer didactic games is sporadic and inadequately prioritized by the computer science teachers, who appeared to have very little knowledge in techniques aimed at their development and implementation into the educational process. The main reason is that prospective computer science teachers do not learn it sufficiently in higher educational establishments. This sphere remains underestimated by those who educate prospective computer science teachers, as well as by computer science teachers themselves. As a result, we observe a lack of knowledge in development, selection and implementation of computer didactic games. Theoretical analysis of the use of computer didactic games and their implementation into the educational process remains out of scholars’ attention, despite the issue becoming more and more attractive. The examination of computer science teachers’ readiness to develop computer didactic games and implement them into the educational process allows us to suggest ways for enhancing the level of teachers’ readiness for this training activity.

The article is dedicated to the analysis of a student’s role as a partner in educational process. It is grounded that sense of modern crisis in education emerged from deep contradiction between traditionally formed, essentially conservative paradigm of educational process and explosive improvement of life conditions in modern society. It is underlined that recognition of a student as a partner, as an equal participant of a dialogue becomes meaningful within system of higher education. Consideration of a student as a partner in the context of project education is underlined by taking into account other’s subject position. It becomes «technically necessary» under conditions of emerging digital civilization to convert basic knowledge into effective learning as well as to program formation of such competences, necessary for a graduating student to solve professional tasks creatively. Adjustment of educational paradigm actually forming «soft skills» primarily enables shift of education processes from traditional subject-object “stuffing students up” with information to subject-subject “students’ self-education management”; students have their research, organizational and creative (in emotional, artistic and intellectual creativity forms) tasks. Such format of educational process organization is already used and known in educational field as project education, which forms valuable cross-functional skills. The offered project education can be a form of partner approach in subject-subject educational cooperation. Considering a student as a partner, a teacher motivates both increasing of hard skills and development of soft skills.

Computer science and telecommunications are increasingly important in society and this leads also public administrations to take advantage of ICT, in order to communicate with citizens in a more rapid and simpler way than the complex and paper-based bureaucracy of the past. While on the one hand the use of these technologies responds to the duty of any public institution to involve the largest number of addressees, on the other hand, society must also consider the limitations of these technologies. Firstly not everybody is so familiar in their use. Moreover, the digital administration thus becomes virtual, accessible only through technological devices and not present in a physical location, and is therefore essential to ensure full coverage of the territory, which is currently not always possible. The main novelty of this paper is the implementation of an automated system capable of adapting different types of government services to multiple communication media. The joint exploitation of multiple technologies allows to use the strengths of one of them when are found the limits of another, making this multichannel modality the solution to the requirement of ICT in public administration.

The learning process at any stage involves direct interaction between the lecturer and students. The article discusses the lecturer-student relationship as one of the factors that influences the teaching process and improvement of learning materials on the example of the study course “Computer Science”. The study aims at using the results of the survey, as well as student tests as a feedback method to improve the quality of the presentation of new material to first-year students considering the basic knowledge of obtained secondary education. The article discusses two methods of feedback: survey and testing. Survey is considered a method with high efficiency of obtaining information, a possibility of organising mass surveys, an ability to accurately process student survey results. Testing is viewed as a method to identify the level of knowledge and skills, as well as the abilities and other qualities of the educator to meet certain standards by analysing the ways, in which a student performs a number of special tasks. Both methods perfectly complement each other and provide an opportunity to more objectively analyse the learning situation. The article presents the results of the study on the example of the study course “Computer Science” for three academic years, describes changes in the structure of the course, as well as changes in the conduction of practical classes within the course, which improved student performance.
