Moral and civic education is complex and achieved in time. Students are active subjects of society involved in community life by means of their families, groups of friends but also specific relationships they have with various institutions. Moral development theories are elements that support the illustration and translation of the educational space into the form of skills, moral habits, positive character traits expressed at the level of the school population. Our research demonstrates the importance of using moral and civic education strategies consistent with the curriculum objectives and content, to contribute to the formation of character traits and socio-moral behaviour of students.  The theme was researched during the 2015-2016 school year at “G. M. Cancicov” Middle School Bacău and involved the support of 4 headmasters of 6th-grade classes, together with 2 teachers of Civic Culture and Religion teaching at these classes. The research group consisted of 90 students, aged 12-13, of whom 45 are girls and 45 boys. There were applied initial evaluation, formative evaluation and final evaluation tests. Comparing the results from the initial and final evaluations it was found that the students’ situation has improved, most students have translated into practice the theoretical elements accumulated,  they built a sense of will and character, as well as moral feelings (friendship, comradeship, respect, etc). From the observations made in various situations it was found that all students have acquired certain moral norms, theoretical aspects were put into practice to a higher degree, students showed more respect towards older, vulnerable people and others, became more polite, with attitudes of openness towards others, regarding punctuality, sincerity and other features as compulsory character traits.

The purpose of this study was to determine the amount of time elementary and middle-school students spend away from the classroom and clinic time required to administer vaccines in school-located vaccination (SLV) clinics. We conducted a time study and estimated average time away from class and time to administer vaccine by health department (HD), student grade level, vaccine type, and vaccination process for SLV clinics during the 2012–2013 school year. Average time away from classroom was 10 min (sample: 688 students, 15 schools, three participating HD districts). Overall, time to administer intranasally administered influenza vaccine was nearly half the time to administer injected vaccine (52.5 vs. 101.7 s) (sample: 330 students, two HDs). SLV administration requires minimal time outside of class for elementary and middle-school students. SLV clinics may be an efficient way to administer catch-up vaccines to children who missed routine vaccinations during the coronavirus disease-2019 pandemic.

This article addresses the peculiarities of genre, style and personages of V. Sorokin’s new novel «Doctor Garin» (2021) with the reference to the latest critical reviews. It is stressed that «Doctor Garin» is the first writer’s experience in the adventure fiction and that because of this fact his novel for the first time has both the happy ending and a protagonist with positive character traits. Also the genres of romance, fairy tale, menippea and even stealth are mentioned as having some features in common with Sorokin’s novel. A special attention is paid to the associative connection with Russian literature.

Inclusion is a fundamental aspect of social studies education in general and democratic education in particular. Inclusion is especially important when we consider the possibilities for transnational civic culture and education. The theoretical framework of this study is based upon concepts of positionality, identity, and belonging as they are related to student understanding of communities. A dual-language, third-grade classroom provided the site for this ethnographic study. Data included participant observations, interviews with the teacher and students, and artifacts of student work. Findings illustrate how the students in the study understood the complexity of their identities at a young age and how the teacher used culturally sustaining pedagogy to foster a third space where this understanding was encouraged.

English learning has changed its role in Mexican Education throughout the years. Recently, in 2011, but with initial proof programs since 2009, the Federal Office of Public Education in Mexico proposed the National English Program in Basic Education, which included K-9.National English Program was new for some states, while others had to migrate and adjust the ones they had. Recently in 2017 some adaptations were made, the most important was the name of the program, but maintained its essence. In Zacatecas state, there was not a background regarding English learning, at least for K-6 students. In middle school (7-9 grades) most of the schools have teachers. Rural education is a short board of China’s education. It is of great significance to strengthen the construction of the teacher team in rural middle schools for Rural Revitalization in the new era. The problem of structural shortage of teachers, reflected by the phenomenon of “what biology teachers teach is not what they learned” in rural middle schools, is a key issue that has been existing for a long time in the development of rural middle school education in our country. It is also a key problem that must be paid attention to and urgently solved in the face of the new situation, new tasks and new requirements. In response to this phenomenon that caused by the decline of students and the loss of biological teachers in rural middle schools, the government needs to play a supporting role and the school leaders of rural middle schools should innovate their systems and concepts. What’s more, biological teachers should reflect on their hearts and have the educational feelings of being willing to develop the countryside. Only when the government, middle school leaders and biology teachers have formed an educational synergy, can we better solve that harmful phenomenon and promote the healthy and rapid development of rural middle school education.

The aim of this paper was to highlight the promotion degree of movement games in middle school education, by looking at its use in the structural component of the physical education lesson. In order to capture various aspects regarding the use of movement games in the physical education lesson, 40 observation charts were made for the lessons conducted at two Bacau schools. Following the results recorded during the studied physical education lessons, and based on the observation charts, it can be said that the use of movement games did not record impressive values, and their formative value has not been exploited at its full potential. That is why one can say that the physical education teachers should make more use of their imagination and creativity in using these means during their lesson.
