The study aimed to assess the reality of marketing educational services at the Islamic University in the Gaza Strip and its impact on the decision to join it from the viewpoint of first- level students at the university. The study adopted the descriptive and analytical approach, and the tool was a questionnaire. It was distributed to a simple stratified random sample of (355) male and female students from all colleges of the first level (BA), and the SPSS program was used in the data analysis. The results of the study showed that the marketing of educational services from the viewpoint of the first- level students obtained an overall average (3.75 out of 5), with a grade of (large), and the field of promotion came first with an arithmetic average ((3.86), followed by the field of public relations with an average ((3.83) and the third in the field of advertising with an average (3.75) and fourth in the field of factors helping to attract students with an average of (3.72) and finally the field of direct marketing with an average of (3.57), and it was found that the size of the effect amounted to (0.85). It indicates (large) correlation coefficients and the existence of a positive relationship of (α≤0.05) Between the marketing of educational services at the Islamic University in the Gaza Strip in its five dimensions and the decision to enroll students in the university reached (0.83), indicating (large) correlation coefficients. Based on the results of the study, the researcher presented a number of recommendations and proposals, including: The university forming marketing teams that keep pace with the technical and technological developments in the world Marketing because of the great importance attached to the university in all respects, especially attracting students and attracting them to the university's specializations.

The aim of the study is to examine the relationship between social responsibility and the behavior of organizational citizenship in the employees of Al-Aqsa University, taking into account the need of Al-Aqsa University to create a state of organizational justice as an intermediate variable. The descriptive analytical method was used by applying the random sampling method of 175 individuals from a community of 320 administrative staff working at Al-Aqsa University in the Gaza Strip. Among the most important results of the Research findings was a positive correlation between all dimensions of social responsibility (training, development, human rights, health and public safety, balance between work and life and diversity in the work environment) and the organizational citizenship behavior of Al-Aqsa University employees. Social responsibility and organizational citizenship behavior. The most important recommendations are: to increase the awareness of management and employees of the importance of social responsibility as a means of achieving the university's organizational justice.

There are numerous known medicinal plants in the Gaza strip flora, some of them are used in the traditional medicine but despite extensive studies of plants either wild or cultivated in Palestine, only a few articles are reported with the phytochemistry of these plants especially the poisonous flora. The current article presents the most common and important poisoning plants in the Gaza strip flora which are therefore important for the public to know and for research and awareness. This review is considered the first study that working in some details with the poisonous plants in the Gaza strip flora in terms of botany, phytochemistry and herbal medicine. These plants are distributed in several habitats in the Gaza strip, including Wadi Gaza, coastal areas, dunes, roadsides, national parks and the botanical garden in the University of Palestine.

This study aims to identify the extent of the Palestinian principals’ role in creating safe schools in the Gaza Strip as a war zone. A mixed-method research design was employed. The study indicates the school principals’ awareness in creating school safety. The study also concludes that there are no statistically significant differences between the average estimates of the principals’ role in creating a safe school in the Gaza Strip from their point of view according to the variables of gender and the educational provinces; however, there are statistically significant differences according to the variable of years of experience.

The paper describes the history of the formation of the specialty “Advertising and PR” and the author’s vision of hidden conflict between modern requirements to the set of professional knowledge of young professionals in the field of advertising and public relations, and the content of the main learning outcomes in the form of a set of professional competences, which will have bachelors enrolled in 2019 entering the labor market in foreseeable future The logic of the article: the first part examines the history of the formation of the specialty and describes the transformation of the main requirements for the education of the graduate, separately describes the specifics of the current level of development of the bachelor’s degree (specialty); the second part provides an analytical overview of the needs of the modern professional sphere of advertising and public relations; the last part of the article represents the analysis of the competence models of bachelor’s training offered by Russian federal universities in the field of educational services, from the point of view of meeting the expectations of the professional environment.


ملخص: هدفت الدراسة التعرف إلى مستوى الإخلال الوظيفي وأثره على الأداء الوظيفي في الجامعات الفلسطينية الخاصة بقطاع غزة، وذلك من وجهة نظر الإدارة العليا، وباستخدام المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، وبالرجوع للأدبيات السابقة، تم بناء استبانة تكونت من (30) فقرة موزعة على (5) مجالات، وهي (الإخلالات التنظيمية، والإخلالات السلوكية، والإخلالات المالية، والإخلالات الجنائية، والأداء الوظيفي)، وبعد التأكد من صدقها وثباتها، تم تطبيقها على عينة مكونة من (102) موظف وموظفة، وقد توصلت الدارسة إلى أن مستوى الإخلال الوظيفي كان منخفضاً، وأن مستوى الأداء الوظيفي كان مرتفعاً، كذلك وُجِد أثر ذو دلالة إحصائية للإخلال الوظيفي في الأداء الوظيفي، وأظهرت النتائج عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين متوسطات درجات تقدير أفراد العينة لمستوى الإخلال الوظيفي والأداء الوظيفي تُعزى إلى متغيرات (الجنس، والمؤهل العلمي، والمسمى الوظيفي)، ووجود فروق تعزى لمتغير سنوات الخدمة لصالح ذوي الخبرة الأكثر من 10 سنوات، وفي ضوء تلك النتائج أوصت الدراسة بضرورة تنظيم ندوات إرشادية للعاملين حول اللوائح والأنظمة والقوانين المالية والإدارية التي يجب على الموظفين الالتزام بها، ووضع مدونات أخلاقية لضبط سلوك الموظفين عبر توضيح الإخلال الوظيفي والجزاءات التأديبية المناسبة. الكلمات المفتاحية: الإخلال الوظيفي، الأداء الوظيفي، الجامعات الفلسطينية الخاصة، قطاع غزة. Abstract The study aimed to identify the level of career deviation and its impact on job performance in the Palestinian universities of the Gaza Strip, from the senior management’s point of view, using the descriptive and analytical approach. Concerning the previous literature, a questionnaire was built, which consisted of (30) items distributed into (5) areas, namely (organizational breaches, behavioral breaches, financial breaches, criminal breaches, and job performance), and after making sure of their validity and consistency, it was applied to a sample It consists of (102) male and female employees. The study found that the level of job replacement was low, the level of job performance was high, and there was also a statistically significant effect of career deviation on job performance, and the results showed that there were no statistically significant differences between the average scores of the sample members’ grade levels on the levels of career deviation and job performance to variables (gender, academic qualification, and job title), and the existence of differences attributable to the years of service variable in favor of those with more than ten years of experience. The study recommended the necessity of organizing guidance seminars for workers about the financial and administrative regulations, rules and laws that employees must abide by, and developing ethical codes to control employee behavior by clarifying breach of employment and appropriate disciplinary sanctions. ملخص: هدفت الدراسة إلى تعرف درجة توافر مؤشرات قياس الأداء في جامعة القدس المفتوحة في ضوء الجودة الإدارية من وجهة نظر الإداريين، واستخدمت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، والاستبانة كأداة للدراسة تكونت من 30 فقرة موزعة على ستة مجالات: (القيادة الإدارية، الجودة والتطوير، إدارة الموارد البشرية، نظم المعلومات الإدارية، الرقابة وتقييم الأداء، رضا المستفيد)، وطبقت الاستبانة على عينة عشوائية مقصودة تكونت من أصحاب المناصب الإدارية في قطاع غزة.وأهم ما توصلت إليه نتائج الدراسة أن استجابات أفراد عينة الدراسة حول درجة توافر مؤشرات قياس الأداء في جامعة القدس المفتوحة في ضوء الجودة الإدارية من وجهة نظر الإداريين جاءت بدرجة كبيرة، حيث بلغت الدرجة الكلية للمتوسط الحسابي للمجالات الستة (3.96)، وبوزن نسبي بلغ (79.2%)، كما أظهرت النتائج عدم وجود فروق ذات دالة إحصائياً عند مستوى الدلالة (α ≤ 0.05) بين متوسط تقديرات عينة الدراسة حول درجة توافر مؤشرات قياس الأداء في جامعة القدس المفتوحة في ضوء الجودة الإدارية تعزى إلى متغير الجنس، ووجود فروق ذات دالة إحصائياً بين إجابات أفراد عينة الدراسة تعزى إلى متغير سنوات الخدمة كانت لصالح الفئة (أكثر من 10 سنوات). الكلمات المفتاحية: مؤشرات قياس الأداء، الجودة الإدارية، جامعة القدس المفتوحة. Abstract The study aimed at identifying the degree of availability of performance measurement indicators at Al-Quds Open University in the light of administrative quality from the point of view of the administrators. The study used the analytical descriptive method and the questionnaire as a study tool consisting of 30 paragraphs divided into six fields: (administrative leadership, quality and development, , Management information systems, monitoring and performance evaluation, beneficiary satisfaction). The questionnaire was applied to a random sample of the owners of administrative positions in the Gaza Strip. The most important findings of the study were that the responses of the sample of the study on the degree of availability of performance measurement indicators at Al-Quds Open University in light of administrative quality from the point of view of the administrators came to a great extent. ملخص: هدفت الدراسة إلى الكشف عن دور الجامعات في اكتساب طلبة كليات التربية لمبادئ التربية الزواجية في محافظات غزة في ضوء الكتاب والسنة, ولتحقيق هذا الهدف استخدم الباحثان منهج الدراسة الذي يمكنهما من تفسير الأحداث، وتحليل مضمونها؛ ولذلك اعتمدا على تحليل المضمون من المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، واستخدما أداة البحث وهي عبارة عن استبانة مكونة من (35) بنداً، وأبرز النتائج أشارت إلى أن نسبة دور الجامعات في اكتساب طلبة كليات التربية لمبادئ التربية الزواجية في محافظات غزة في ضوء الكتاب والسنة بلغت (79,29%) وهو مستوى عال. ولا توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية لدور الجامعات في اكتساب طلبة كليات التربية لمبادئ التربية الزواجية في محافظات غزة في ضوء الكتاب والسنة تبعاً لمتغير الجنس, وتبعاً لمتغير المستوى الدراسي وتبعاً لمتغير مكان السكن. بينما يوجد فروق فردية تبعا لمتغير الجامعة لصالح الجامعة الإسلامية. وفي ضوء نتائج الدراسة، يوصي الباحثان بتفعيل دور الجامعات في ترسيخ مفاهيم الحياة الزواجية السعيدة. الكلمات المفتاحية: دور الجامعات – اكتساب الطلبة- التربية الزواجية. Abstract The role of universities in acquiring students of faculties of education for the principles of marital education in the governorates of Gaza in light of the Quran and Sunnah This study aimed to reveal The role of universities in acquiring students of faculties of education for the principles of marital education in the governorates of Gaza in light of the Quran and Sunnah. To achieve this goal, the researchers used a study approach that enables them to interpret the events and analyze their content. Therefore, they relied on the analytical descriptive approach and used a questionnaire as a researching tool consisting of 35 items. The most prominent results indicated that the percentage of the extent to which the students of the education faculties in the universities of the Gaza Strip governorates acquire the principles of marital education as stated in Quran and Sunnah reached 79,29%, which is a high level. There are no statistically significant differences in the extent to which the students of the education faculties in the universities of the Gaza Strip governorates acquire the principles of marital education as stated in Quran and Sunnah according to the gender variable, level variable and place of residence. There are statistically significant differences the according to the university variable in favor of Islamic University. In light of the study results, the researchers recommend activating the family role in establishing the concepts of happy marriage life. Just as in the private sector, the public communication activities of state institutions have gained increased weight and significance in our media society. In contrast to the public relations of private institutions, however, the communications of public authorities are subject to severe constitutional restrictions. Promotional activities by state institutions can pose a serious threat to the free process of forming a political opinion in a democratic society. At the same time, public authorities are facing increased demands for transparency and increasing difficulties in gaining acceptance for their decisions, which has been underlined in particular by recent protest movements. Against this background, this thesis, which was supervised at the University of Frankfurt, analyses the informal communications of state institutions and public acceptance of their decisions from a constitutional point of view. It identifies the legal scope within which public institutions are justified in promoting their decisions by means of public communication activities.

The study aimed to reveal the degree to which the students of the University of Jordan represent concepts of national identity from their point of view. To achieve the goal of the study, the researchers used the descriptive approach. The tool was represented in a questionnaire consisting of (20) paragraphs. After confirming its stability and sincerity, it was applied to a random sample consisting of (400) A student and a student from the University of Jordan, the results showed that the total degree was obtained to represent the students of the University of Jordan for the concepts of national identity from their point of view on an arithmetic average (3.75) with a high degree. In addition to, there are statistically significant differences appeared in a degree that represents the students of the University of Jordan for the concepts of national identity attributed to variable gender, while there are no statistically significant differences appeared in a degree that represents the students of the University of Jordan for the concepts of national identity attributed to variable (college and year). In light of these results, a number of proposals and recommendations were presented, the most important of which was interest in creating a generation that adheres to its national identity, consolidating elements of national heritage from childhood, emphasizing the importance of the Arabic language as the language of the Qur’an, and informing them of the honorable Arab history to be proud of their past belonging to their present.

Purpose: This paper aims to examine the role of public relations departments in universities and how they deal with graduates. Universities in general have PR departments that are created to increase the missions and strengthen the visions. Frequently, the PR department is responsible for enhancing the objectives of the university to improve its image to publics. This study therefore investigates the extent of the PR role as a tool for facilitating the achievement of the objectives of universities. Data for the study was collected from a sample of one hundred and twenty (120) respondents sampled from graduates of the university. Which %78.3 males and %21.7 females from different districts in Gaza Strip in Palestine. Findings from the study showed that the administration of the PR departments reinforces the affiliation of graduates to their universities. Furthermore, the PR departments mainly participate in holding graduation ceremonies and in coordinating with other departments. The PR departments continue with the graduates to assist them find suitable careers in the future. They also communicate with the graduates through various means of social connectivity websites.
