The purpose of this research is to improve skill in writing letter using contextual approach. The subject of this research is fourth-grade students of Aris 04 State Elementary School. The form of this research is descriptive research with classroom action research as the method. The means of this research is to investigate a condition, situation, or other things has been mentioned that the result is exposed in research report because the researcher does not change, add, or manipulate object or research area. The tools of data collecting IPKG I observation sheet, IPKG II observation sheet, Students’ observation sheet. In the first cycle, the mean score of students who passed the evaluation test is 72.73% or eight students. In the second cycle, the mean score increase until 81.82% or nine students, and in the third cycle, the mean score is 90.91% or ten students. In conclusion, contextual approach can improve students’ skill in writing letter.

This study presents a research report on improving students’ Learning results on IPA through Video. The objective was to find out whether students’ learning result improved when they are taught by using Video. It was conducted using classroom action research method. The subject of the study was the Grade IV students of SDN 187/IV Kota Jambi which is located on Jln. Adi Sucipto RT 05 Kecamatan Jambi Selatan, and the number of the students were 21 persons. The instruments used were test. In analyzing the data, the mean of the students’ score for the on fisrt sycle was 65,4 (42,85%) and the mean on cycle two was 68,5 (37,15%) and the mean of the third cycle was 81,4 (100%). Then it can be concluded that the use of video on learning IPA can improve the students’ learning result. It is suggested that teachers should use video as one of the media to improve students’ learning result on IPA.Keywords : IPA, students’ learning result, video

ABSTRACTThe aim of this research is develop comprehensive instructional design plan of networked learning which integrated place-based education in elementary school with topic is The Healthy and Nutritious Food. This is developmental research with Kemp’s model. Implementation’s design using one group pretest-posttest design. The approach of this research is qualitative descriptive. The subject of this research is comprehensive instructional design plan of networked learning which integrated place-based education in elementary school and implementation’s subject is the fourth grade students of SD Negeri Karangrena 02, Maos, SD Negeri Slarang 02, and SD Negeri Slarang 04, Kesugihan, Cilacap, in Central Java. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perangkat pembelajaran terpadu model networked terintegrasi place-based education di sekolah dasar sangat layak dan dapat digunakan di sekolah dasar serta dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa melalui proses pembelajaran yang berkualitas.  Kata kunci: Perangkat pembelajaran, pembelajaran terpadu model networked, place-based education, sekolah dasar.

English has been taught at elementary schools as one of the local content subjects. It is necessary to study English from an early age in order to achieve good mastery in it. To master English means to master the four skills in it and also the language aspects, including vocabulary. As one of the language aspects, vocabulary plays an important role in language learning. This study reports on pupils’ proficiency in mastering English vocabulary after three years of studying in elementary school. The writer chose 55 grade-four pupils of SD Methodist Banda Aceh as a sample for this study. They were given a vocabulary test related to reading and writing skills consisting of 26 items. The test was to be done in 20 minutes. After calculating the data, it was found that the mean score (x) of the pupils was 69.5, with the highest score at 92.3 and the lowest score at 26.9. More than 50% of the pupils could answer the questions correctly in less than 20 minutes. Only 4 out of the 55 pupils answered the questions less than 50% correctly and no one answered 100% correct. According to these results, this study showed that the pupils achieved good proficiency in vocabulary.

ABSTRACT One of the important skills in language learning is writing. Writing skills, need to be familiarized with children, such as fairy tale writing skills. One way to teach it is a fun activity, which is by linking writing with children’s habit’s, which is to teach imagine. This study aims to analyze the results of the implementation of the design of learning to write fairy tales through imagination activities. The method used is descriptive qualitative. The subject is the fourth grade students of MI Muhamadiyah Beji with a total of 14 students. The result showed that 92.85% of the 14 student were able to create fairy tales through the imaginations, and 7.15% of students were unable to write them in writing because they did not follow the learning well. This activity is also able to explore children who have the potential to write. Keywords: Indonesian Language, Writing Fairy Tales, Imagination.   ABSTRAK Salah satu ketrampilan penting dalam pembelajaran bahasa ialah menulis. Ketrampilan Menulis, perlu dibiasakan pada anak, seperti ketrampilan menulis dongeng. Salah satu cara mengajarkannya ialah dengan kegiatan yang menyenangkan, yaitu dengan menghubungkan antara menulis dengan kebiasaan anak, yaitu berimajinasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis hasil implementasi desain pembelajaran menulis dongeng melalui kegiatan berimajinasi. Metode yang digunakan ialah kualitatif deskriptif. Adapun subjeknya ialah siswa kelas IV MI Muhamadiayah Beji yang berjumlah 14  siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa 92.85% dari 14 siswa mampu membuat dongeng dengan melalui pancingan-pancingan imajinasi dan 7.15% siswa tidak mampu menuangkannya dalam bentuk tulis dikarenakan tidak mengikuti pembelajaran dengan baik. Kegiatan ini pula mampu menggali anak-anak yang mempunyai potensi menulis. Kata kunci: Bahasa Indonesia, Menulis Dongeng, Imajinasi.

O câncer do colo de útero - CCU é considerado um problema de saúde pública mundial, com cerca de 530 mil novos casos por ano e 270 mil mortes em todo o mundo. O objetivo deste estudo foi descrever o conhecimento de mulheres pertencentes a um município do interior de Minas Gerais a respeito da prevenção CCU, por meio do exame Papanicolau. Trata-se de pesquisa descritiva, de abordagem quantitativa realizada em Carmo da Mata, MG, em 2015. A amostra foi composta por 93 mulheres cadastradas nas ESF do município, na faixa etária entre 25 e 64 anos. A coleta de dados foi realizada por meio de um formulário aplicado às participantes. Os dados foram analisados e descritos de forma a identificar os objetivos do estudo. A média de idade das participantes foi de 39 anos. A maioria, 65 (69,9%) têm mais de 8 anos de estudo, são casadas ou vivem em união estável. A maioria (96,7%) relatou ter realizado o Papanicolau no último ano. Quanto ao conhecimento sobre o exame, 78 (83,8%) afirmaram ter conhecido através de profissionais de saúde. No que diz respeito ao conhecimento dos fatores de risco para o câncer de colo uterino, 43 (46,2%) tinham conhecimento correto sobre o tema. Percebeu-se que as mulheres do município estudado têm conhecimento significativo em relação ao exame Papanicolau. A utilização do serviço de saúde para prevenção do CCU e o grau de escolaridade da maioria influencia, positivamente, na percepção da importância dessa prática.Palavras-chave: Colo do Útero. The aim of this study was to describe the knowledge of women belonging to a city in the interior of Minas Gerais regarding CCU prevention through Pap smears. It is a descriptive research with a quantitative approach carried out in Carmo da Mata, MG, in 2015. The sample consisted of 93 women registered in the municipality of FHS, aged between 25 and 64 years. Data collection was carried out through a questionnaire applied to the participants. Data were analyzed and described in order to identify the goals of the study. The mean age of participants was 39 years. Most, 65 (69.9%) have more than 8 years of schooling, they are married or in stable relationships. Most (96.7%) reported having performed the Pap test last year. Regarding knowledge about the examination, 78 (83.8%) claimed to have known throughhealth professionals. Regarding knowledge of risk factors for cervical cancer, 43 (46.2%) had correct knowledge on the subject. It is noticed that the women of the city studied have significant knowledge regarding Pap smears. <p class="Abstract"><em>The purpose of this study is to improve the narrative text writing skills used Roundtable. This study is a Classroom Action Study (CAR) with two cycles. The subject is the student of state Elementary School  Bulukantil  in academic year 2018/2019 with 40 students. The data collection techniques of this study used observation, interviews, documentation, and test.The validity of data using source triangulation and technical triangulation. This study used an interactive analysis from miles-Huberman data analysis. The initial condition of narrative text writing skills of grade III students resuled in 27,5% classically. The first cylce begins with first meeting of 55% in classical. The second begins with first meeting of 87.5% classical completeness. The conclusions in this study is roundtable improved narrative writing skills on students at grade III of state Elementary School  Bulukantil  2018/2019 academic year.</em></p>

The purpose of this study was to improve skills in forming reliefs from plasticine material in elementary schools using the direct learning model. This research is a research conducted using quantitative and qualitative approaches. The subject of the research was the teacher and fourth grade students of elementary school in the city of Padang. The results showed that an increase in skills formed a relief in the form of: the RPP assessment had increased from 84.71% to 94.44%. From the teacher aspect there was an increase from 76.56% to 95.31%, and the student aspect had increased from 70.31% to 90.62%. In the assessment of student skills improvement occurs from an average value of 70.76, increasing to 85.98.

This study aimed at determining the managerial implementation of school principals at SD Negeri 24 Pulau Rimau. This research was conducted using a qualitative descriptive research approach. The subject is the school principal at SDN 24 Pulau Rimau. The informants are the school principal and teacher. Data collection techniques were (1) observation; (2) interview; and (3) documentation. The collected data is examined for the validity of the data, using triangulation, with verification and checking of the adequacy of the references. The results of this study were the ability of the managerial implementation of principals at SD Negeri 24 Pulau Rimau was very good seen from planning, organizing, directing, and supervising.


By adopting a Dick and Carey model, thepurpose of this study was to develop a multimedia humour model for the teaching of Malay narrative writing and test the effectiveness of the model in the classroom. This study was conducted to a group of 29 students at SekolahMenengahKebangsaan Syed Mashor, Batang Kali, Selangor. The research design was quasi experimental involving single group pre-test and post-test design. Following this design, participants were selected, pre-tested, and exposed to the multimedia video (animation) and then post-tested. The instrument used in this research was the writing test on Malay narrative focusing on cleanliness. Descriptive quantitative analysis was employed on the findings (frequency, percentage and mean) followed by a comparison of pre-test and post-test. The findings show that there were significant differences between the pre and post-test. In the post-test, the mean score for the participants after receiving the intervention were higher than the mean scores for the pre-test. The findings also reveal that the use of visual images (animation), sound and graphic through multimedia video for teaching Malay narrative writing help the students to improve their vocabularies and writing skills. Thus, teachers may also adopt this type of learning approach to attract student’s attention towards the subject and hence, improve their academic performance of a particular subject.

The education movement in schools should be able to strengthen the character of students through affective, cognitive and psychomotor harmonization in the learning process. The problems addressed in this research are: 1) How is the development of character value in the learning process in class IV elementary School Negeri 8 Banda Aceh? 2) What are the difficulties faced by teachers in developing character values in the learning process in class IV elementary School Negeri 8 Banda Aceh? This research aims to describe the development of character values and difficulties faced by teachers in the learning process in grade IV of SD Negeri 8 Banda Aceh. The approach used is qualitative research with a type of descriptive research. The subject in this study was 1 teacher and 38 students. The data collection techniques in this study are observations and interviews. Data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation, and withdrawal of conclusions. The results of the development of character values in the learning process in class IV elementary School 8 Banda Aceh have been good, teachers always develop the value of students ' character through values of honesty, discipline, courtesy and courtesy, cooperation, responsibility, and In the learning process in the classroom and outside of class.  Guru Selau to develop character values in each learning process continuously. As for the difficulties teachers face on the development of character values in the learning process is because of the number of students in the classroom so that teachers are difficult to develop those values because not all students get noticed The same individual. But teachers always give students a moral message in a classical, developing character values both in the classroom and out of class so that they become students of good behavior. Conclusion of this research is teachers have developed values of honesty, discipline, courtesy and courtesy, cooperation, responsibility, and mutual respect, and others well in class IV elementary School 8 Banda Aceh.
