This study aimed is finding out if the new science of accounting role in handling corruption cases plaguing Indonesia. There are two suspects in this case are Djoko Susilo and Didik Purnomo. The data collecting was done through electronic media, mass media and website. This research is a form of case studies which has the main question ifthere is any role of forensic audit science in corruption case handling of equipment procurement of driving license simulator (SIM)or not. The analysis shows that the science of forensic audit is able to assist the government in dealing with cases of corruption in Indonesia.

This study aims to see corruption case of driving license simulator procurement project from the forensic accounting side. The number of corruption cases in Indonesia has prompted the government to order all central and regional authorities to carry out any measures to combat corruption. The role of forensic accountants is needed in order to dismantle the number of fraud that comes from corruption. Forensic accounting provides an accounting analysis that can be used for debates in court which are the basis for discussion and resolution in court.A forensic accountant is someone who understands forensic accounting. Forensic accountants have specialized expertise in accounting, auditing, finance, quantitative methods, specific areas of law, research, and investigative skills in gathering evidences, analyzing evidence, evaluating evidence, interpreting and communicating the results of the findings. This research explains the corruption case of driving license simulator project procurement of document evidence, physical evidence, testimonial evidence, and personal observation. From the findings of evidence by the forensic accountant, that can help solve the case of corruption driving license simulator procurement project.

Corruption is a pervasive global problem with detrimental effects on economic performance, political stability and community integration. Corruption has provided its own moment for the mass media which includes electronic mass media and printed mass media today to be used as the latest news which is called the Headline (headline). One of the news that discusses the new corruption case is the case of Social Assistance Funds (Bansos) at the Ministry of Social Affairs. The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) which has appointed the Minister of Social Affairs (Mensos) Juliari Batubara as a suspect in the corruption of social assistance (Bansos) for residents affected by the Covid 19 pandemic. The method in this study uses a qualitative description which aims to describe systematically, factually, and accurately about news on the corruption case of Social Affairs Minister for Social Affairs Juliari Batubara in Kompas.Com and BBCIndonesia.com with framing Robert Entman analysis. The results of this study are based on the results of the framing analysis in this study, it is very clear that the role of the media is not limited to conveying information, the times demand the media to play the role of 'watch dog' or guard dog and control for the government and related institutions in formulating every policy. for the benefit of society. The results of the study show that the media Kompas.com and BBCIndonesia.com provide space for information and clarification for the government and the KPK to make all efforts to curb and overcome the problem of corruption in covid 19 social assistance funds. Keywords: Corruption, Framing, Bansos

Recently the epidemic corruption case in Indonesia has become increasingly rampant. Efforts to eradicate corruption which has been committed after the reformation era in 1998 do not equal with the corruption proliferation in the decentralization era. In the last five years many corruption cases have been revealed due to the role of whistle blower. This study aimed to explicate the main intentions of whistle blowers who uncover corruption cases. The perception study were conducted on Brawijaya University students so that understanding the intentions of these whistle blowers can be found in the government sector which in fact is a focus of corruption practices. A factor analysis and statistical descriptive analysis were conducted to answer the main question of this study which revealed that there are three main factors in whistle blowing intention and that demographic variables do not affect the perception of whistle blowing intention.

Odisha is a natural disaster prone state. Its geographical location contributes a lot for the disasters. The eastern Indian state has a 480 Kilometre long coastline. The Bay of Bengal which is the house of cyclonic storms is the major contributor for the calamities in the state. From time immemorial till today Odisha has been facing hundreds of calamities in the form of cyclones, floods and famines. It is a regular phenomenon that in the period of September to December every year Odisha faces varieties of cyclones. These affect human life, properties and agriculture to the maximum extent. After the super cyclone of 1999 the government became sensitive so also the media. In these two decades Odisha media has played a vital role in creating awareness about the disasters and helped people in displacement and rehabilitation. In recent pasts media helped the Government in reaching the “Zero Casualty” target. The role of media not only limited to this, even post-disasters it followed the condition of people and their lives. The researcher takes some case studies of different disasters and their handling by media. Also tries to find out the people’s perception about media in disaster preparedness and management.

This research is motivated to find out the influence of mass media on students' political awareness. The role of mass media in the era of globalization provides a very large role in providing information to students, especially as a voter beginner or 17 years old. Through the media, information about politics is widely spread quickly and widely. The role of PPKn teachers in dealing with the influence of the mass media is the existence of political education provided to students in PPKn subjects. The results showed that at SMK Negeri 1 Cianjur the influence of the mass media on political awareness of students was very large. Technology has a very important role in this case social media, print media and electronic media which contains a lot of information and the role of PPKn teachers as educators in providing understanding to students so that they use mass media more wisely and aim so that the knowledge obtained can be used in community environment, in order to increase student participation, especially in any political activities. Thus, the influence of mass media can significantly increase political awareness (political awareness) of students and be democratic (democratic attitude).Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi untuk mengetahui pengaruh media massa terhadap kesadaran berpolitik siswa. Peran media massa di era globalisasi memberikan peran yang sangat besar dalam memberikan informasi kepada siswa khususnya sebagai pemilih pemula atau berusia 17 tahun. Melalui media, informasi mengenai politik banyak tersebar secara cepat dan meluas. Peran guru PPKn dalam menghadapi pengaruh media massa yaitu dengan adanya pendidikan politik yang diberikan kepada siswa dalam mata pelajaran PPKn. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa di SMK Negeri 1 Cianjur pengaruh media massa terhadap kesadaran berpolitik siswa sangat besar. Teknologi memiliki peran yang sangat penting dalam hal ini media sosial, media cetak dan media elektronik yang di dalamnya banyak memuat informasi dan peran guru PPKn sebagai pendidik dalam memberikan pemahaman kepada siswa sehingga memanfaatkan media massa dengan lebih bijaksana dan bertujuan agar pengetahuan yang diperoleh dapat digunakan dalam lingkungan masyarakat, guna meningkatkan partisipasi siswa khususnya dalam setiap kegiatan-kegiatan politik. The author considers the basic elements of terrorist propaganda and targets terrorist groups wish to achieve by informing mass media on their acts. In the field of propaganda, they endeavor to point to their presence, objectives and positions by committing certain acts. Every terrorist act is planned so to make its symbolism clearer pointing to the positions of terrorists on some political issue. In order to commit a successful terrorist act it is necessary to carry out a long-term planning in the sphere of propaganda. For that purpose terrorists apply various strategies and tactics. The information of the public in some country on the committed terrorist act is the basic objective of terrorist groups. For this reason they attempt to, above all, attract attention of mass media. In the field of information, terrorism could be best fought by the establishment of co-operation between the government and media that should exchange information. This also implies that media should be more involved in the public diplomacy. .

The United Nations Educational Scientific and Cultural Organization has designated the Man and Biosphere Program to foster a better relationship between the environment and people. The topic of this study is to elucidate the role of local communities in the regional development of Biosphere Reserves with a focus on management roles (top-down or participatory) and the motivational drivers of the people involved (ecocentric or anthropocentric). Based on qualitative interviews taken from the two case studies of the Mount Hakusan Biosphere Reserve in Japan and the Katunskiy Biosphere Reserve in Russia, a comparative analysis was conducted to explore the differences between the engagement of locals in the management of their biosphere reserves. This analysis examined relationships between the government and the local communities, the attitudes of the locals towards the biosphere reserves, and the historical perception on nature protection for each community. The findings showed that Russian biosphere reserves are mainly managed by local people who live inside the protected area while Japanese biosphere reserves are governed by local authorities and administration offices. This allows the Russian communities to have greater access to management processes, and therefore play a larger role in regional development.

Covid-19 has become an issue that has been written about in the media since the end of 2019. Since the emergence of the first case in Indonesia in March 2020, efforts are needed to manage disasters that occur. The role of various parties is needed to provide information and communication to the public, one of which is through the mass media. Information on pre-disaster is important for the formation of security and community capacity in dealing with disasters. The mass media becomes a self-warning system in providing information and education to the public. Currently the media continues to grow, the internet makes it easy for every audience to access various information in the mass media, one of which is disaster information. This study aims to provide an overview of how disaster information is packaged in the mass media as a form of disaster communication to the public. The concepts used in this research are disaster management, and disaster journalism. This research method uses descriptive qualitative using literature studies and framing analysis on the online news portal Tribunnews during March 2020. The results of this study indicate that disaster communication determines community attitudes in dealing with disasters. The role of disaster communication in the mass media is very important, and can determine the success of the government in providing information for public safety and overcoming disasters that occur. This research contributes that the optimization of disaster communication is important in disaster management. The government is the main source of the media in finding news sources. Therefore, the government must provide information intake actively, periodically and with a positive frame.

The Covid-19 pandemic has caused the biggest humanitarian crisis of the 21st century. In an overpopulated country like Bangladesh, it is even tougher to fight the situation. The government and different stakeholders are relentlessly encouraging people to maintain the necessary health care measures where the mass media is playing the supporting role. The research examines how mass media has been influencing in the behavioral change during this pandemic and played the role of "changing agent". The research is designed on mixed method, including content analysis and survey. This study analyses 191 health awareness-based news from three different print newspapers and two television channels' prime hour bulletins within the timeline of 1st March to 31st March. Also, a survey questionnaire was set with close-ended questions to accumulate people's feedback. Using the "The Behaviorism Theory", this study explains, how all behaviors are acquired through conditioning. Throughout this theoretical lens, this research finds out how media worked as an external stimulus in changing people's behavior pattern. The findings suggest that media had positive impact over its audience which inspired people to practice safety measurements in such crisis.

The study aims to know the role of government in the development of small and medium enterprises in the district of Enrekang. The kind of research that is used which is a qualitative with the type case studies. Source used in this study as many as nine people. Techniques of collecting the data used in research, the observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study hows that the goverment of Enrekang’s role is a facilitator, regulator, and catalyst. Measures taken by the government of Enrekang, it’s very helpful community in improving small and medium enterprise, there were some communities that have been able to grow its business, but the government of Enrekang still need to further improve the development of the business.Keyword: role, the goverment,  the founding UMKM      Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran pemerintah dalam pembinaan usaha kecil menengah dikabupaten enrekang.Jenis penelitian yang digunakan  yaitu kualitatif dengan tipe studi kasus. Informan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini sebanyak sembilan orang.Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa pemerintah kabupaten enrekang sudah menjalakan perannya yaitu sebagai fasilitator, regulator dan katalisator.Tindakan yang dilakukan oleh pemerintah kabupaten Enrekang, sudah sangat membantu masyarakat dalam meningkatkan usaha kecil menengah,sudah ada beberapa masyarakat yang sudah mampu mengembangkan usahanya, tapi pemerintah kabupaten Enrekang masih perlu untuk lebih meningkatkan pembinaan kepada pelaku usaha.Kata kunci: peran, pemerintah, pembinaan UMKM
