Monitoring the nutritional status of infants at this time is mostly still using the manual method, by looking at anthropomeric standard books so that nutritional monitoring takes longer and is less practical. Babies need nutritional status based on age, weight, length of the baby (baby's height), and sex of the baby. To find out the nutritional condition of the baby, the author wants to develop a measurement tool for weight and length of the baby with the output data in Microsoft Excel. This study aims to design a baby's weight and length measurement tools with data output at Microsoft Excel and perform a function test. The process of detection in infants using ultrasonic sensors that serves to determine the height or length of the baby's body and load cell sensors to determine the baby's weight, then the LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) which displays the results of ultrasonic sensors and load cell sensors and Arduino Uno. The results of this study are an infant weight and height measurement tool with an arduino uno-based anthropometric index method with 2 ultrasonic sensors as height and length counters, and 1 load cell sensor as a weight calculator for infants that will later be displayed on the LCD screen.

Teeth had very important roles and functions so that someone with poor knowledge on tooth function might have poor oral health. The poor condition of the oral cavity might cause tooth loss and if not replaced with denture would disturb the functions and activities of the oral cavity, as well as influencing nutritional status.  Determining the relation between knowledge on tooth function and nutritional status of elderly people with partial tooth loss in Mamasa Sub-district, West Sulawesi. This was an observational analytical study with Cross-Sectional design performed on September–November 2017. The research variables were knowledge on tooth function and nutritional status. The total sample was 64 people. Sampling used stratified random sampling technique. Data collection used questionnaire, body height measurement tool, and body weight scale. Data analysis used Kendall-Tau test. Most of the respondents’ knowledge on tooth function was high and most of the nutritional status of the elderly people were poor. The result of analysis test showed significance value of p=0,285 in male respondents and p=0,971 in female respondents (p>0,05), showing no significant relationship between knowledge on tooth function and nutritional status of elderly people with partial tooth loss. There was no relation between knowledge on tooth function and nutritional status of elderly people with partial tooth loss.

In this study made Conveyor Tool For System Sort Item that use arduino uno with load cell sensor and utrasonik sensor. On wide readings using two ultrasonic sensors that are placed on the outside of the place. And using one ultrasonic sensor measuring height and one heavy cell sensor load. At the same time in places where the sensor will read and afterwards the items will be brought by the conveyor and bar to the specified place. From the results of the study of goods in the pilah and take appropriate kereteria in the set.

Load cell banyak digunakan sebagai sensor pada timbangan digital. Namun, timbangan digital yang tersedia pada umumnya tidak menyediakan fasilitas untuk memori. Fasilitas penyimpanan data secara digital dibutuhkan untuk beberapa aplikasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan timbangan digital ini menggunakan load cell berbasis Arduino Uno dengan tampilan LCD dan kemampuan menyimpan data. Pada  penelitian ini digunakan perangkat keras (hardware): sensor load cell, Arduino Uno, Mikrokontroler ATMega328, HX711, dan LCD. Sistem kerja timbangan dimulai dengan menerima tegangan dari load cell yang diberi beban, kemudian sinyal diteruskan ke HX711 sebagai penguat sinyal, dan diteruskan melalui ADC Arduino. Selanjutnya, sinyal diolah menggunakan ATMega328 yang diprogram dengan bahasa C pada Arduino Uno untuk dapat ditampilkan pada LCD dan disimpan pada memori. Konstruksi timbangan digital dengan menggunakan load cell berbasis Arduino Uno dengan menggunakan tampilan LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) berhasil dibuat dengan hasil uji yang telah memenuhi standard. Hasil pengujian timbangan digital telah dilakukan dengan rata – rata persentase kesalahan sebesar 0,39%. Perhitungan pengukuran massa yang mampu dideteksi adalah pada rentang 189,09 gr hingga 449,27 gr dengan tingkat kepercayaan 95%. Kata Kunci : Sensor Load Cell, HX711, Arduino Uno, Mikrokontroler ATMega328, dan LCD

The potential occurrence of certain illnesses can be easily diagnosed through measurements of some health indicators. One of such parameters is the Body Mass Index (BMI). BMI is simply the ratio of mass (kg) of a body to the square of its height (m2). This research presents the design and construction of an automated BMI measurement machine for medical purposes. It consists of three major units: the weighing unit (5 – 200 kg); height-measuring unit (0.02 – 2 m) and the processing unit. The weighing unit is made up of load button cell and load cell amplifier while the height-measuring unit consists of ultrasonic sensor. The analog differential output voltage from load cell is connected to arduino microcontroller via a Programmable Gain Amplifier (PGA) integrated with Analogue-to-Digital Converter (ADC). The two units are connected to an open source arduino uno which computes mass-to-body ratio and sends the output results (mass, height and BMI) to the liquid crystal display (LCD). The weighing system was calibrated against a precision digital weighing system and it gave a correlation of 0.99. The height measurement was also compared with manual height measurement using a tape rule which gave a correlation of 0.97. The developed Instrument is cost effective and has high positive correlation with the standards (weighing scale and tape rule), it is therefore recommended for the measurement of weight, height and BMI. Keywords— load button cell, load cell amplifier, ultrasonic, body mass index, arduino uno

Kebutuhan manusia semakin lama semakin meningkat, berkembang dan bervariasi, untuk memenuhi kebutuhan tersebut industri membutuhkan suatu alat yang dapat mengontrol dan mengendalikan proses permesinan secara otomatis. Diantaranya industri yang memerlukan pengendalian kualitas secara otomatis adalah industri makanan dan minuman instan. Di Indonesia, industri minuman didominasi oleh hasil olahan minuman instan bubuk dan cair. Salah satunya minuman instan kopi, minuman kopi membutuhkan beberapa tahap pengolahan, salah satu yang terpenting adalah proses pemutuan biji kopi. Saat ini industri masih menggunakan tenaga konvensional yang memakan waktu, biaya, tenaga operator. Penentuan mutu dengan cara seperti ini mempunyai kelemahan dari sisi subyektivitas yang memungkinkan terjadinya kesalahan akibat kelelahan mata manusia terhadap contoh yang dianalisis. Untuk menanggulangi masalah tersebut perlu adanya mesin pemutuan biji kopi dengan sistem otomasi berdasarkan parameter besar dan kecilnya biji kopi. Dengan cara menghitung banyaknya biji kopi pada sampel 300 gram biji kopi. Penyelesaian rancang bangun ini dilakukan dengan 2 tahapan yaitu perancangan konveyor sabuk dan perancangan otomasi. Perancangan konveyor sabuk pemilah terdiri dari pemilihan konsep, desain rinci menggunakan aplikasi Solidwork dan proses pembuatan berdasarkan desain. Selanjutnya, perancangan otomasi menggunakan mikrokontroller Arduino Uno, sensor load cell dan sensor FC-51. Setelah peralatan sudah dipasang semua selanjutnya dilakukan pengujian didapatkan dari 300 gram biji kopi terhitung jumlah biji kopi yang bervariasi yaitu 907, 954, 976, 1007, dan 1036 biji kopi. Kemudian, ketinggian sensor yang optimal 6 cm dari permukaan belt conveyor dan kecepatan conveyor 1,52 m/menit agar pembacaan sensor FC-51 akurat.

Workers of wooden furniture is the workers who are at risk for decreased lung function caused by exposure to wood dust in the working environment. Wood dust will enter the respiratory organs, thereby affecting lung function. Decreased pulmonary function can be seen by the method of Harvard Step Test. This research aims to analyse the relationship between age, working period, nutritional status, smoking habits, long exposure to dust, and use of PPE with lung function in wooden furniture workers in Oesapa Village, Kelapa Lima Sub District, Kupang City. The study was analytic survey with Cross Sectional approach. This research was conducted in the wood furniture industry in Oesapa Vilage, Kelapa Lima District, Kupang City in July 2020. The population in this study was 33 workers of wooden furniture. Data collection is done by questionnaire, weight measurement, height measurement and the Harvard Step Test to determine the level of lung fitness workers. Data analysis technique used is the Chi Square test with level of significance . The results showed that there was a significant relationship between age (0.002), working period (0.023), nutritional status (0.039), and use of PPE (0.016) with lung function in workers of wooden furniture. There is no relationship smoking habits (0.093), long exposureto  dust (0.057) and lung  function in workers of wooden furniture.

Background: Nutrition in children is considered as a major concern for good health and also for normal growth and development. The present study aimed to estimate the prevalence of malnutrition in 1 to 6 years children.Methods: This was a community based cross sectional carried out in a south Indian tribal area for a period of 5 years among 1020 children. The anthropometric measurements categorization among children was done using world health organization (WHO) guidelines. Data was analyzed using microsoft excel 2010.Results: Out of 1020 children, nutritional status based on underweight, stunting and wasting was 30.80%, 26.8% and 15.68% respectively. Severe degree of underweight, stunting and wasting was observed in 76.4%, 64.7% and 5.49% respectively.Conclusions: Under nutrition was significantly high in infants and it decreased with increasing in age and significantly higher number of female children were stunted and underweight compared to male children.

 Background: Family conscious nutrition (Kadarzi) is an Indonesia government program that aims to address the nutrition problem. The family expected to be able to independently giving the best nutrition to improve health. Each Kadarzi indicator has an important role to resolve and prevent the occurrence of utrition problem as indicator of vitamin A supplementation is used to resolve vitamin A deficiency.  Nutrition problems can be seen by using nutritional status. Children under five years are age-prone to experiencenutritional problem such as underweight, stunting, and wasting. Objective: The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between the application of Kadarzi behavior with the nutritional status of children under five (WAZ, HAZ, and WHZ). Method: The research was an analytic obsevation research, using cross sectional design. The sample consist of 72 toddlers in Salakkembang Village, Kalidawir Subdistrict, Tulungagung Regency. The data were collected by using weight and height measurement, also Kadarzi bahavior questionnaire. The data were analyzed using Fisher Exact test. Result: The results of the study showed that there was a correlation between Kadarzi behavior with nutitional status of toddlers based on WAZ (p=0.010), and HAZ (p=0.000) but not with WHZ (p=0.368). Conclusion: The better apllication of Kadarzi behavior, the better the nutritional status of toddlers WAZ and HAZ. Mothers should apply Kadarzi behavior to prevent toddlers from nutritional problems. ABSTRAK Latar belakang: Keluarga Sadar Gizi (Kadarzi) merupakan program pemerintah Indonesia yang bertujuan mengatasi masalah gizi. Keluarga diharapkan dapat secara mandiri mewujudkan keadaan gizi yang sebaik-baiknya untuk meningkatkan kesehatan. Setiap indikator Kadarzi memiliki peran penting untuk mengatasi dan mencegah terjadinya masalah gizi seperti indikator pemberian suplemen vitamin A digunakan untuk mengatasi kekurangan vitamin A. Masalah gizi dapat dilihat salah satunya dengan menggunakan status gizi. Balita merupakan usia yang rawan mengalami masalah gizi seperti underweight, stunting, dan wasting.Tujuan: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisis hubungan antara penerapan perilaku Kadarzi dengan status gizi balita (BB/U, TB/U, dan BB/TB).Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian observasinol analitik, dengan desain penelitian cross sectional. Sampel terdiri dari 72 balita di Desa Salakkembang, Kecamatan Kalidawir, Kabupaten Tulungagung. Pengumpulan data menggunakan penimbangan berat badan, tinggi badan, dan kuesioner perilaku Kadarzi. Data dianalisis menggunakan Fisher Exact test. Hasil: Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan terhadap hubungan antara perilaku Kadarzi dengan status gizi balita BB/U (p=0,010) dan TB/U (p=0,000) namun tidak dengan BB/TB (p=0,368).Kesimpulan: Semakin baik penerapan perilaku Kadarzi maka semakin baik status gizi balita BB/U dan TB/U. Ibu dan seluruh anggota keluarga seharusnya menerapkan perilaku Kadarzi agar balita terhindar dari masalah gizi.

Background: Weather monitoring is an important aspect of crop cultivation for reducing economic loss while increasing productivity. Weather is the combination of current meteorological components, such as temperature, wind direction and speed, amount and kind of precipitation, sunshine hours and so on. The weather defines a time span ranging from a few hours to several days. The periodic or continuous surveillance or the analysis of the status of the atmosphere and the climate, including parameters such as temperature, moisture, wind velocity and barometric pressure, is known as weather monitoring. Because of the increased usage of the internet, weather monitoring has been upgraded to smart weather monitoring. The Internet of Things (IoT) is one of the new technology that can help with many precision farming operations. Smart weather monitoring is one of the precision agriculture technologies that use sensors to monitor correct weather. The main objective of the research is to design a smart weather monitoring and real-time alert system to overcome the issue of monitoring weather conditions in agricultural farms in order for farmers to make better decisions. Methods: Different sensors were used in this study to detect temperature and humidity, pressure, rain, light intensity, CO2 level, wind speed and direction in an agricultural farm and real time clock sensor was used to measured real time weather data. The major component of this system was an Arduino Uno microcontroller and the system ran according to a program written in the Arduino Uno software. Result: This is a low-cost smart weather monitoring system. This system’s output unit were a liquid crystal display and a GSM900A module. The weather data was displayed on a liquid crystal display and the GSM900A module was used to send the data to a mobile phone. This smart weather station was used to monitor real-time weather conditions while sending weather information to the farmer’s mobile phone, allowing him to make better decisions to increase yield.

Introduction: Due to the various changes that have occurred in people’s diet and lifestyle, there is an increase in the prevalence of overweight, as well as an increased risk and development of cardiovascular disease (CVD). It is important to assess the quality of food, to know it and to develop appropriate interventions, especially for workers, since they eat most of their meals away from home and are at risk for CVD. The objective of this study was to evaluate the nutritional status, the quality of the diet and its relationship with CVD in meat industry workers. Methods: Crosssectional study conducted from October to December 2017. Forms were used, anthropometric and dietary evaluation of workers of a meat industry in the municipality of Pitanga, Paraná, Brazil. Nutrabem® software was used to calculate and evaluate food consumption, which determined the descriptive values of the diet quality index (IQD), based on the food groups according to the food pyramid. The IQD was divided into three categories: 80 to 100 points - healthy diet, 50 to 79 points - needs adjustments in the eating pattern, less than 49 points inadequate diet. Results: 55 employees were included with a mean age of 32.2 ± 9.92 years, predominantly male (67.3%), average body mass index of 27.05 ± 4.90 kg/m², with values in the group at risk of CVD according to waist-to-height ratio. The average IQD was 52.0 ± 10.9 points, with 40% (n = 22) of employees classified with inadequate diet and 60% (n = 33) needing adjustment in diet, women showed a tendency to diet. inadequate compared to men (p <0.05). Conclusion: Nutritional status, age and caloric intake was related to the quality of the diet and the risk for CVD. It is important the nutritional monitoring and intervention actions with the working class.
