The lack of qualitative justification of organizational and methodical support of swimming training process from the standpoint of objective criteria ensuring of health and functional preparedness of student youth determines the relevance of the proposed area of research. The purpose of the study was to establish changes in indicators of functional preparedness of higher educational institutions students based on the implementation of training programs at different individual and motivational levels of the swimming training system. Materials and methods. The study involved girls aged 18-20 years old of Kherson State University. There were four experimental groups representing different individual and motivational levels of swimming (experimental group 1, n=23 girls; experimental group 2, n=26; experimental group 3, n=23; experimental group 4, n=21 respectively) and the control group (n=29) with general lessons. All programs (experimental and control) were designed for 18 lessons during the first semester, the duration of a single lesson was 60 minutes. Changes in body length and weight, heart rate at rest, blood pressure and pulse pressure, Robinson’s, Cardu’s, Kettle’s, Skibinsky’s, Hildenbrant’s, Stange’s and Genche’s indices, Life index and Rosenthal’s test were studied. Results and discussion. Determining the initial level of functional indicators of female students of all experimental groups and control groups gave grounds to the confirmation that the indicator of their values is within the age norm for people who do not do sport. Slightly higher indicators of heart rates at rest for experimental group representatives were obtained. This is due to higher requirements for the cardiovascular and oxygen and transport system of girls in performance of physical activity and specifics of swimming means. Preliminary assumptions, that the absence of maximum physical loads is not able to significantly affect blood pressure, heart rate at rest, a number of indices for both experimental and control training programs, have been confirmed. Conclusion. The qualitative content of physical culture and sports lessons before entering the higher educational institutions forms a certain basis of functional preparedness. It is expressed in indicators at rest and is characterized by optimization of the activity of vital organs and systems of students and can be slightly corrected due to the use of training programs at various individual and motivation levels of the swimming training system for students of higher educational institutions

The article reveals the requirements for a modern specialist, who should be characterized by the properties and qualities of adaptive leadership. The reasons are noted for the improper formation of this phenomenon of future specialists in higher educational institutions of Kazakhstan. As one of the most important, it is considered - the unavailability of a higher education teacher to carry out activities to educate future specialists of the properties and qualities of adaptive leadership. Attention is drawn to the fact that the development of adaptive leadership qualities in the context of the traditional informational subject (linear) training system is impossible. Attention is focused on the fact that, in the conditions of the challenges of the XXI century, being an adaptive leader is the norm for a modern specialist. The author reveals the role and significance of the synergetic approach in the formation of adaptive leadership among students.

Intensive renewal of the socio-economic, scientific and technical spheres and the spiritual life of society determines high requirements for the capacity of the individual. Graduates of higher educational institutions determine the future of our country, so they must not only have a high level of professional readiness, but also be physically enduring, efficient and healthy. These personality traits are formed and improved during the student years by means of physical education. Physical education in higher educational institutions is an integral part of education. The level of their physical development and health depends on the quality of the organization and conduct of classes with students. At present, the health of the younger generation is of serious concern. Numerous works of modern researchers point to an increase in the level of diseases and focus on a decrease in the functional resistance of the body of students to physical activity. The subject of the research is the methodology of using means of physical culture and health-improving orientation in physical education classes. The aim of the research is to determine the influence of physical culture and health-improving orientation classes on the physical fitness of first-year students. Research objectives: to conduct an analysis of scientific and methodological literature and advanced pedagogical experience in relation to the topic under study; to determine the level of physical fitness of female students, using complex testing and to reveal the dynamics of indicators of physical fitness; to develop a program of physical education classes to improve the level of physical fitness and health of female students; to experimentally check the developed training methodology and determine its feasibility of introducing it into the educational process in physical education. In the course of organizing and conducting a scientific experiment, the following methods were used: analysis and generalization of scientific and methodological literature, pedagogical observations, control testing, mathematical processing of results. The study involved first-year students who study at the National University "Odesa Law Academy" and do not play sports. In the course of the experiment, a program of physical education classes was developed, which included sets of exercises for the development of physical qualities, as well as a health-improving orientation. These complexes were used in each physical education lesson twice a week on a schedule. The study made it possible to draw the following conclusions. The analysis of the results shows that at the initial stage of the research the majority of female students showed low results in all the tests. After conducting classes according to our methodology, at the second stage of the experiment, the results for some tests improved significantly. Thus, the proposed program of health related training had a positive impact on the results of physical fitness of female students.

The article reveals the importance of artistic gymnastics as a basic means of physical fitness of female students of higher educational institutions. The methodological features of artistic gymnastics as a means of basic training have been determined. It has been established that artistic gymnastics is a separate type of gymnastics, where, under the conditions of competition, with the help of qualified judges, the quality of the exercise (its complexity and harmony) is determined by the expert-assessment method in points, and the place (rating) of athletes is determined. One of the difficult methodological problems is the choice of ways to measure the health effectiveness of the developed tools and methods of physical fitness of students. It is obvious that the assessment of this effectiveness should be carried out not only by traditional indicators of motor readiness of students (according to the results of control standards), but the level of development of the most professionally significant adaptive qualities and properties of the body, ie the level of their health. The relevance of this work also lies in the attempt to systematize the traditional and developed means of basic sports - gymnastics and additional tools from other sports (rhythmic and athletic gymnastics, elements of sports, etc.), according to the energy orientation of the loads to achieve the most effective compensation for the deficit of physical activity in students of higher education institutions.
