The purpose of this research is to determine the effectiveness of the development of the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model based on local wisdom in solving environmental problems and the students’ ability to develop learning media. Research conducted at Educational Faculty and teaching sciences of Pakuan University. This research uses the method of Research and Development with the ADDIE model, comprising analyses, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The data were obtained from the validation by three experts, namely learning material expert, learning media expert, and learning model expert. The effectiveness assessment was done by N-Gain assessment environmental problem-solving ability and evaluating the multimedia product. The steps to develop the model are as follows: need analysis, designing learning model development, learning model development, learning model validation by the experts, learning model implementation in class, and model evaluation. The product created by the students from learning through PjBL based on local wisdom is a video about local wisdom. According to the data analysis result, it can be concluded that model development of PjBL based on local wisdom improves their ability to solve environmental problems, the average score is 0.69 in experiment class and the score in control class is 0.055 (scales of 0-1.0). The ability to develop video environmental learning media the score video product in experiment class is 2.4 and in the control class is 2.2 (scales of 1-3).

This research was a pre-an experimental study with a one-group pre-test and post-test design. The Methods of data collection used validation and test. The materials used to teach were valid category by two experts and can be used to practice physics problem-solving skills. The average post-test score physics problem-solving ability was 73.24 with an N-gain of 0.59 was classified as moderate. The success of IBMR learning model-based devices in practicing problem-solving abilities can be seen in the increase in the average score in each indicator of problem-solving abilities. The indicator of understanding the problem had the highest post-test average score of 94.58 with an N-gain of 0.89 in the high category. The problem-solving indicator had the lowest posttest average score was 58.22 with N-gain 0.39 and mean that it was the moderate category. Based on the results study, it can be concluded that the learning used by IBMR learning model can practice the ability to solve physics problems on heat material and its displacement. Learning with the IBMR learning model was expected to train students in solving physics problems. The stages in the IBMR learning model can help students

Difficulties of primary school students in solving mathematical problems that require problem solving or reasoning abilities indicate the existence of problems in the process of learning mathematics, because one of the purposes of learning mathematics in primary school is to develop the students’ mathematical problem-solving skills. As a solution to overcome the problems, this research aims at understanding how the implementation of the guided discovery learning model influences mathematical problem-solving skills. This research employs a quasi-experimental design by involving all fifth-grade students at one of primary schools in Tebo Regency, Jambi. The simple random sample was conducted to obtain class VB as experimental class, and class VA as control class. Based on the results of the final score, experiential class obtained an average score of 86.00, and control class obtained an average score of 76.93.  The results of hypothesis test using t-test obtained tcount = 2,203 > ttable = 2,020, which indicated that H0 was rejected, and H1 was accepted. Therefore, the guided discovery learning model influenced the fifth-grade students’ mathematical problem-solving skills, thus it is recommended for teachers to be able to use the guided discovery learning model in the mathematics learning process.

This study aims to analyze students’ creativity through project-based learning experiences in a electrochemistry topic. Subject of this study was 40 students from Chemistry Education Study Program who took basic chemistry course. Students experienced several activities, namely: forming groups of three, asking and refining questions, debating ideas, making predictions, designing plans and/or experiments, collecting and analyzing data, drawing conclusions, communicating their ideas and findings to others, asking new questions, and creating artifacts like a model, a videotape, or a media. Then, the lecturer monitored the students and the progress of the project, assessed the outcome and evaluated the experience resulting students-in group’ creativity profile. Research instruments are project assessment rubrics and observation sheets. Findings show that students’ creativity in groups ranges from  less to very good or from 48.15 to 92.59. Although there are still shortcomings with this study, we encourage other lecturers to implement this type of learning model in other courses or subjects in order to improve students’ problem solving skills.

This study and development are motivated by the use of internet-based technology that has not been maximized in learning in schools, especially junior high schools. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to develop a learning model that combines the learning proces directly throught face-to-face online learning through applications, so that researchers develop a blended learning model based on edmodo in learning news text for class VIII SMP. This study uses the research and development (R D) method, with the ADDIE model development procedure, namely the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation steps. The results of this study indicate that the learning model that has been developed can be categorized as "very feasible". This is evidenced by the average score of 82. The average score obtained from material experts is 87, from media experts is 74, and from teaching experts is 85. Based on this, it can be concludedthat the study and development of this learning model can be a supplement in learning so that students are more active and independent.
